Absolutely Amazing!!
We got married a week ago. All I can say is WOW, this place is absolutely stunning with the grounds and the pavilion. We go married inside as it was very chilly but even that was so lovely and intimate. The team are absolutely amazing especially Anneka who organised our wedding. It went so smoothly and was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend East Mersea Hall more for a wedding venue.

The best wedding venue
As cliche as it sounds, we knew as soon as we walked into East Mersea Hall that it was the venue for us. The secluded location and diversity of options at the venue make it truly unique. From the intimate ceremony hall, outer grounds + lake, outdoor ceremony alcove, woodland area and pavilion.
Anneka and Gill were friendly, approachable, responsive, knowledgeable & helped make the whole process enjoyable and stress free. Gill was a star on the day and ensured everything ran smoothly, including sorting a few minor hiccups!
All of the staff including the waiting team and chefs were incredible and accommodating.
Kate and I have said that with all the money in the world and no location restrictions we would still have selected East Mersea Hall as our wedding venue and would thoroughly recommend the venue and amazing team to anyone.

The most amazing wedding venue!
It's hard to know where to begin to try and explain how amazing this venue is. We fell in love from our first visit with the beautiful grounds. This venue has it all, a beautiful pavilion, outdoor options, amazing photo opportunities and to top it all off a wonderful team. From our first viewing with Kirsty to all the planning with Anneka to the day with the rest of the team everything was handled with amazing care and attention. We had a pagan ceremony and nothing we threw at them was too much trouble. Everything was set up how we imagined it, our day went off without a hitch and we had the most amazing time. Its truly so hard to put into words how special this venue is and I can not recommend highly enough. If you are planning a wedding then go see for yourself.

The Best Wedding Venue you could find
Not sure where to begin. Firstly with what a spectacularly beautiful place East Mersea Hall is. Every attention to detail from the moment you arrive in their enchanting car park. The bridal suite with the dressing room and mirrors akin to a salon. The ante room where you feel part of a family when meeting the registrars. The ceremony room which is intimate and beautiful. The patio and lake. Oh what a backdrop. Finally the reception room with a full sided view of the lake, comfortable chairs, well-stocked good size bar and fabulous toilets with a big mirror in the ladies (can't speak for the men's). Add all this to the perfect wedding team. Kirsty and Anneka have it all sewn up. There isn't single thing I could fault. Anneka is the perfect hostess. Nothing is too much trouble and everything runs like clockwork. The food is spectacular. All of our guests agreed. If you are considering getting married, you would be a fool to chose anywhere else.

Absolutely amazing
We were fortunate enough to get married at this stunning wedding venue on Saturday 18/03/2023 and it was absolutely the best thing we have even done! All the team at East Mersea Hall Wedding and Events Venue are so so good at what they do! They are the most helpful team I have ever met, especially Anneka who absolutely made our day! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing in all the planning and so so helpful on the day too! All the suppliers also said how amazing she was and that they had never seen a wedding coordinator help the bride so much on the day! Forever grateful! It’s safe to say we chose the best wedding venue and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get married not only for the amazing people but the stunning views, it really is a venue that has it all!

Absolutely amazing!

Our Beautiful Wedding Day
The most amazing venue, the most perfect day! East Mersea Hall felt like a fairytale venue. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the stunning scenery. Cannot thank Anneka and the team enough! We visited many venues before deciding on East Mersea Hall, and we chose the best one. Anneka carried such a calm and highly knowledgeable aura, making us feel comfortable and no question ever felt too much! Her organisation and efficiency with emails helped us feel prepared and relaxed. Big shout out to the chef who cooked the most delicious food. Our friends and family are still talking about his mouth watering paella! A special thank you to Kirsty for giving us the opportunity to come back and get those 'golden hour' shots! Our wedding truly was the best day of our lives, thank you East Mersea Hall! ❤️

Incredible!!
Myself & my new Husband got married at East Mersea hall on the 19th of November 2022.
We viewed in February of the same year, and I knew the second I saw the beautiful grounds that was where we would get married. In fact it was the only venue we viewed.
During the lead up to the wedding the team were organised, efficient and nothing was too much trouble.
Our actual day ran like clockwork. I had so little to do besides enjoy my day. The team took charge of everything - however big or small. The food and service was second to none & we had so many compliments on choice of food as we had the bbq. Every member of staff were kind, courteous and polite. And the grounds speak for themselves, they made for an incredibly beautiful back drop to our Autumn wedding.
I can’t recommend the venue enough, Anneka, Kirsty & their team are absolute professionals at what they do and when I say they are cool calm and collected every step of the way I really mean it. Which is exactly what you need on your wedding day!

Fantastic in every way
We got married at East Mersea Hall on 27th August 2022 and it was a perfect, magical day. From our initial enquiry, Anneka and Kirsty were professional. obliging, responsive and all you could ask for. The day itself ran smoothly, the food and service was incredible and the venue itself was just beautiful. We had our ceremony in the garden and the wedding breakfast and evening in the Pavilion, all of our guests said it was a fantastic wedding. The bridal suite for getting ready in and our overnight stay was fantastic and the breakfast basket the next morning was a nice touch. Thank you all so much for a truly wonderful day. Gail and Sax.

Attentive, chilled, and made us worry free
We cannot thank Kirsty, Anneka, and the team enough for making our wedding day such a great memory. After postponing twice due to Covid, we finally got to tie the knot in August this year, allowing family and friends from around the world to come and celebrate with us, which we are very grateful to Kirsty for.
Anneka was an absolute god-send, smoothing out all the kinks and crinkles and soothing any worries all the way through the planning right up to and throughout the day.
The venue is stunning with lots of great places for a wide range of photo styles, all of our guests greatly complimented the beauty of it and our photographer had a field day exploring!
The catering team was excellent, we had a vegan wedding and our guests loved the menu choices, the care taken, and taste! The options for evening food were fantastic too, again we received lovely compliments from our guests.
Overall we couldn’t have had any more of a perfect day. We would rate the place and the staff higher if we could.

Fantastic Wedding Venue!
We cannot recommend East Mersea Hall highly enough as a wedding venue. The grounds are stunning, with a great balance between spaciousness and cosiness. Kirsty, the Wedding and Events Manager, is relentlessly supportive and highly knowledgeable about everything weddings. This was a huge help to us as we didn't know where to start! During the pandemic, Kirsty has been super understanding and has allowed us to postpone on two occasions with no hassles at all. She is amazing!

We had the most wonderful wedding from before the big day to the end of the day everything was spot on!
Anekka will make sure everything runs like clockwork, whilst the venue and the grounds speak for themselves! I didn’t have to do much at all anekka and Kirsty took care of everything and we had the best day ever! We are so glad we chose east mersea hall. Amazing food perfectly run and everything is top notch from the service to the dance floor ❤️ Nothing was too much trouble ❤️

The best day of our lives
East Mersea Hall was absolutely perfect. We fell in love with it instantly when we looked around, and Mersea itself was a special place for us as we spent a lot of time there when we started dating. It really is a gem. The grounds are stunning and our guests were constantly talking about it for days afterwards. The water lillies were in bloom and the grounds were perfect for guests to mingle and provided many beautiful photo opportunities. The staff took great care of us and our guests throughout the day and helped keep us organised. Anneka our organiser was great, especially in the lead up to the wedding helping advise us on what needed to be done and adapting to last minute changes. We were thrilled to find a venue that would allow our dog there for the ceremony and reception drinks too.
I cannot stress enough how much we loved our day and it will be the best of memories for years to come.

The BEST Venue! :-)
The venue is amazing but the best think about East Mersea is Anneka and Kirsty!!! :-) They are cool as ice, such pros and so lovely, which is just what you need on your wedding day. They made everything so easy, so straightforward, I was so impressed by them!!! East Mersea itself is incredible, all of our guests kept telling us how amazing the venue is, they loved how many different little cool parts there are to hang out, they all gave it rave reviews. You really can't go wrong with East Mersea, it's an epic venue with aewsome people running it!!!!

Truly amazing from start to finish.
As soon as we saw this venue we fell in love with it. We made an appointment to view the grounds, which we done and then booked it straight away. We didn’t even look at any other venues. It was just everything and more. Anneka and Kirsty were absolutely amazing and made our day so special. They took care of everything, there was constant communication, Anneka helped me with all the planning as I didn’t have a clue. There was just nothing that we could have added into this day, everything was already taken care of. The grounds are absolutely stunning, we had a woodland wedding which was incredible. The bbq food was so delicious too. You will not be disappointed with this venue or the staff, truly fantastic. Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
