As a bride, this venue will always hold such special memories for us. From the moment we went to view Gaynes Park, everything felt warm, calm and genuinely cared for. The setting is beautiful, the team are thoughtful and attentive, and the whole day flowed effortlessly allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the day. It also felt incredibly special on a personal level. My husband Phil is from Derbyshire, and there was something about this place that instantly made it feel like home, familiar and welcoming in a way that meant a great deal to us both. Now, as a photographer and content creator working in the wedding industry, I see venues very differently, and that perspective only deepens my appreciation. Behind the scenes, the organisation, communication and support for suppliers is excellent. There’s a real understanding of how a wedding day needs to function, not just how it looks. From a creative point of view, it’s a joy to work in well-considered and beautiful spaces and a calm, supportive team that understands how important timing and flow are for capturing real moments. What guests experience out front is just as strong as what happens quietly behind the scenes. I recommend this venue wholeheartedly to couples looking for a heartfelt, effortless wedding day, and as a supplier who genuinely values working with venues and teams that share the same care, standards and heart for what they do.

We had a fabulous wedding celebration at Haywards. From our first meeting with Amanda, she planned everything to perfection and made the whole process so smooth. She accommodated dietary requirements and made a tailored menu for us to meet those needs. We bought our own decorations for the table and Amanda took care of everything and made the place look lovely. The food was incredible with my mother in law quoting it was the best meal she has ever had. The whole team made us feel so special on the day and the service was amazing. Everything was taken care of so we didn't have any stress on the day. Would highly recommend haywards for any wedding celebrations. Sam and Steve

We got married at The Barns at Lodge Farm in Sept 2025 and had the most beautiful day! We loved the setting and the fact we had multiple indoor spaces to use - plus a great yard area and two comfortable getting ready rooms. We got to bring in our own caterers which was important to us. Most importantly, the space was very accessible to me (the bride) as a wheelchair user. It felt like it ticked all the boxes. Bryony and the team went above and beyond in making our day special. Nothing was too much of an ask - they made sure our many, many ideas effortlessly came to life. Their help with set up and their relationship with vendors was invaluable. Their communication before the big day was reassuring and thorough. On the day, the team at the venue were super calm and confident - it really helped our nerves and anticipation! At one point it started to spit slightly and suddenly umbrellas appeared like it was no big deal - they think of and prepare for everything. Re. wheelchair access: the team made sure there were some runners over a small gravel area to make my life easier. At one point Bryony grabbed her own car to make sure I could make it down the track for sunset photos. All these little touches without making a big deal were really appreciated. We are beyond grateful that we had our day at The Barns at Lodge Farm and would recommend to any couples looking for a wedding venue.

In terms of feedback we would like to add you especially were very helpful, very accommodating and very understanding all key aspects leading up to our big day nothing was too much trouble for you no matter how big or small the request. The venue was decorated to an amazing standard and just how we envisaged. We would like to pass on our thanks to you and your whole team from the Chef to the bar staff to the waiters and waitresses they were all amazing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Blake’s as a wedding venue to anybody as the package and service supplied was professional and great value for money.
