If we could give Gaynes Park 10 stars, we would without question. We recently had our wedding at Gaynes Park, and we cannot find a single fault before, during, or after our special day. All the way throughout our journey, we were supported by Victoria, who fielded our many questions and we were so lucky to have her running the wedding on the day! In all honesty, our wedding was absolutely faultless and we have had so many compliments from our guests about how smoothly the day was run, the quality of the food and drink, and the grounds themselves - and myself and my new wife could not agree with them more - we were honestly blown away and all we can hope is that we manage to get invited to another wedding here so we get to come back!!!! If you’re going through this review, please please please just book this venue - for all of the stress you have with wedding planning, so much of this was alleviated by the team both before and on the day - we cannot Thankyou all enough - you were all amazing, from the bartenders to the waitstaff to our coordinator Victoria, everyone felt so looked after. The grounds are immaculate, even after a 3 month heatwave - and you have access to the entire venue and full choice of ceremony location and reception drinks etc - we never once felt restricted on what we could do with our day, and we were supported in making it our own Hope to be back soon!

We got married at The Barns at Lodge Farm in Sept 2025 and had the most beautiful day! We loved the setting and the fact we had multiple indoor spaces to use - plus a great yard area and two comfortable getting ready rooms. We got to bring in our own caterers which was important to us. Most importantly, the space was very accessible to me (the bride) as a wheelchair user. It felt like it ticked all the boxes. Bryony and the team went above and beyond in making our day special. Nothing was too much of an ask - they made sure our many, many ideas effortlessly came to life. Their help with set up and their relationship with vendors was invaluable. Their communication before the big day was reassuring and thorough. On the day, the team at the venue were super calm and confident - it really helped our nerves and anticipation! At one point it started to spit slightly and suddenly umbrellas appeared like it was no big deal - they think of and prepare for everything. Re. wheelchair access: the team made sure there were some runners over a small gravel area to make my life easier. At one point Bryony grabbed her own car to make sure I could make it down the track for sunset photos. All these little touches without making a big deal were really appreciated. We are beyond grateful that we had our day at The Barns at Lodge Farm and would recommend to any couples looking for a wedding venue.

In terms of feedback we would like to add you especially were very helpful, very accommodating and very understanding all key aspects leading up to our big day nothing was too much trouble for you no matter how big or small the request. The venue was decorated to an amazing standard and just how we envisaged. We would like to pass on our thanks to you and your whole team from the Chef to the bar staff to the waiters and waitresses they were all amazing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Blake’s as a wedding venue to anybody as the package and service supplied was professional and great value for money.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Haywards, from start to finish. From our first meeting with Amanda, where we discussed our initial ideas, right through to the big day itself, the service was exceptional. Amanda was fantastic throughout and gave us a huge amount of flexibility in how we wanted the day to run. She was incredibly accommodating and made the whole process feel relaxed and straightforward, which made a big difference in allowing us to enjoy the experience. The food was excellent, and our guests were extremely impressed, with lots of comments about both the quality and how much they enjoyed it. The venue itself was perfect for us. We had around 70 guests, and the space created a wonderful atmosphere which was both elegant and special, but still with a great party feel as the evening went on. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Haywards to anyone looking for a venue. I'm sure that whatever the occasion, Amanda will do everything she can to accommodate your needs and, importantly, help you create the kind of day you actually want.
