I'm not even sure where to begin but wow! We fell in love with this wedding venue just over a year before our wedding day and we looked at other venues but we kept comparing them all to Newland Hall. From the get go we had amazing email and phone calls with Lucy and Kelly. No question or query wasn't welcomed which I think any bride appreciates. We were able to meet with Lucy 5 weeks before our wedding day and also a few months before to refresh our memory and see the venue again before our big day which again felt just right and we picked our venue right. We were able to drop off decorations the day before our wedding (stuff for the tables, post box, seating plan, welcome sign etc) and Lucy as always greeted with us with such warmth and I think knowing Lucy was going to be there on the day made me feel so calm. Now the day. WOW. Thanks to Lucy she took what I had in mind for the tables, signs etc and made it perfect (better than I could) again no question or request was too big to ask. I had so many guests tell me how much they loved the venue and I'm hoping I can return to Newland Hall as a guest to take it all in again. The food was amazing and all of the staff working on my wedding were lovely (kept making sure I had eaten and I had a drink) If you're thinking of Newland Hall do it! I wouldn't change a thing. I want to do it all over again! Also want to mention the DJ was amazing! Music wasn't too loud which was good and he judged how well the songs were going to decide what to play next and he had a lot of patience for me as I had requested quite a lot music. I was also able to choose the music for after the wedding and dinner part which felt really personal.

This Gem is tucked away in a quiet location in Chelmsford and I am glad that my partner found it randomly. When we went to visit the venue, we was blown away and very stunned at the beauty and peacefulness of the location.
The staffs, Kelly and Katerina were very professional, helpful and friendly. They truly made our day feel special. The venue was very flexible as we had to reschedule our wedding due to covid-19 restrictions on wedding. They also listened to us and our requests and tried their best to accommodate them within their capability.
We had an amazing day and thank you for making our day special!

From the moment we arrived at Newland Hall for the Open day we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding and the actual event proved that right, and more.
Kelly and her team at Newland Hall were brilliant; in the run up to the event they were accommodating and flexible to our needs and on the day itself the whole thing ran beautifully making it a fabulous day for all involved, the ceremony was absolutely lovely and the reception and buffet that followed turned in to the relaxed and friendly garden party atmosphere that we had hoped for.

We got married outside on 21.09.19 as the weather was perfect.! All our last minute changes were catered for by Katerina who was brilliant throughout. The venue is so pretty and perfect for what we wanted. The bbq food was lovely and the whole day flowed perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Venue, perfect for the intimate wedding we were looking for. Beautiful surroundings and 1st class service from the staff. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a picturesque location. We married outside with the BBQ option which was amazing too! Thank you, Newland Hall!

The most perfect wedding Venue, got married here on Saturday and had the best day, people could not stop complimenting the venue and the food and all the staff it was amazing. We had Fran as our wedding co-ordinator, and she was amazing and done such an amazing job. Everything went so well and it’s because of her, she set it all up just how I wanted it and she made sure I didn’t have to think about anything on the day. We had a lot of guests, 150 during the day and more in the evening, so she had her work cut out, but she really did amazingly, you could see how hard she worked. Thank you so much Newland Hall and most importantly Fran she was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this venue and Fran highly enough.

We got married here on May Bank Holiday Monday and we could not be happier!
We chose Newland Hall because of the exclusivity, the beautiful house and outside space! We were married outside under the gazebo which we were able to decorate with flowers and sashes. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of photo opportunities, in and around the house, marquee and the nearby fields and lakes! The food was delicious and the guests were full of compliments! Our wedding planner, Fran, was absolutely amazing, she set the venue up and dealt with everything, making it completely stress free, for us and our guests! Nothing was too much! Thank you!
It’s a shame it’s all over, but thank you for being so accommodating! We would definitely recommend.

WOW .....! What can I say?? We got married at Newland Hall on the 01.09.19 and it was the best day of our lives. I firstly want to thank Katerina our wedding coordinator for all her hard work in the lead up to the wedding and her organisational skills on the day really shone through, she was amazing from start to finish making our day even more special. I would also like to thank the director Simon for all his help in the run up to our wedding also. The food and service were second to none and everyone commented on the food. It was a truly amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were attentive and friendly and kept the drinks flowing so everyone could enjoy themselves. There were no long waits at the bar either which kept things flowing. A massive, massive thank you to everyone at Newland Hall for making our day that little bit more special, they really made us feel so special.

We got married just over a week ago. The venue was absolutely amazing! Fran did a phenomenal job of coordinating the day. From the weeks leading up to it to packing everything away at the end of the evening, she put so much care and attention into everything. We were made to feel so cared for and looked after!
The food, music and all the staff were just incredible. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Being blessed with good weather meant we got a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony.

More importantly on the 06/10/18 Fran & her team were absolutely amazing. Fran stayed with me (bride) from the moment I arrived at Newland Hall.

Fran & team made sure nothing went wrong whatsoever from the time we arrived to the end of the evening.

We don’t know everybody’s names who was helping Fran on the 6th October but we would just love to say an absolute huge Thank You to Fran, Poppy & all staff at Newland Hall who helped us celebrate a very memorable day.

Thank you for your email and for everything you did for us to help make our day go perfectly! It was everything we wished for and more...you & Kelly are beyond fabulous!! And the lovely lady who kept us in drinks, I can’t remember her name but she was fantastic...dark hair on top of her head, brought our drinks to the dressing room. And another young lady managed to get me some bobby pins to keep my hair in when it was all falling out after so much dancing...bless her heart, what an angel! You should be incredibly proud of your team...unbelievable :)

Thank you so much for everything on Saturday (and the build up to Saturday). Both of us (and all the guests we have spoken to) have told us what a great time they had and how everything went perfectly.
The food was fantastic and served in a beautiful way (even relatively basic things such as canapés were presented uniquely). I particularly liked how the fruit was served in the pineapples.
We will write a glowing review in the next week or so. Thank you again you were amazing, can't find any faults for the day.
