Perfect venue for our wedding. So helpful, friendly and just perfect! We dry hired and i had heard themat venues arent as helpful when you dry hire but holiday inn was super helpful. All the way from planning to after the wedding! The grounds are beautiful and the weather was glorious for our outdoor ceremony and we had the best wedding reception in the Elizabeth suite and we used the lakeside suite as a childrens room and hired an entertainer. Most of our guests spent the entire weekend there. The kitchen staff at breakfast were so lovely, she even held the kitchen open for an extra 5 minutes for us the morning after the ceremony so that we could all enjoy breakfast. I'm really pleased we chose this venue.

I & my now wife had our wedding reception at the holiday inn on 1st November 2025 we couldn't have asked for more the staff were so helpful and went out of there way to make the day amazing for us all. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We chose the Regency Suite for our wedding reception. Although the room itself has a larger capacity than we needed, we picked the Regency Suite because we wanted to have enough space for all the entertainment without having to move furniture on the day. We were a bit worried about the sound limiter as we had a live band, but the sound was great. We were able to make use of the bar and the staff were so friendly. We had a lovely time and it was a plus that it didn’t need much decorating as it’s beautiful on its own. Sophie was absolutely amazing, she was always answering any questions we had and let us come see the suite whenever we needed, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much Sophie!

Marygreen Manor Hotel provided us with an amazing venue, the gardens are kept beautiful and the manor house is full of character and feels welcoming. The staff are amazing Annette and Pacco made sure we had everything we needed and made us and our guests feel special and made sure everything flowed beautiful for our special day. The food and wine was fantastic and could not be faulted. This is a very nice venue.

The Ivy Hill Hotel team put so much love and care into our special day, Libby, Charlotte, and Lewis were especially helpful and attentive throughout the process and day. They laid out the entire schedule, guiding us through the process. All of their help enabled the day to run smoothly. They also respond to any questions promptly via both email and call. Without asking, the hotel provided a video of the day, both lovely to have and also for family that couldn’t attend. We couldn’t recommend the Ivy Hill Hotel enough, we shall be back for our anniversary.

This venue was 10/10 from the minute we saw it. Georgina was nothing but accommodating, friendly and efficient, replying to emails within a couple of days, setting up the venue as requested and organising a team to ensure flawless service throughout the day. It was spectacular and the experience I could not fault! The space is perfect for 100 people, the food was exceptional and the hotel beautiful, highly recommend as a venue!

Our Experience were amazing for Me and My Husband to have our Venue at the Rose and Crown. Such a beautiful place. Llze our event manager was amazing helped us throughout. Thank you for making our day special. All the Staff were amazing such a lovely atmosphere. Food was excellent compliments to the Chefs. The hotel room was excellent. All I have to say I would recommend any couples who are thinking of getting married to try the Rose and Crown you won't be disappointed. Thank you again for our amazing day.

We got married at Greenwoods at the end of August this year and the venue and staff exceeded our expectations. Sasha and Mikyla (on the wedding and events planning team) were absolutely amazing in helping us to plan our wedding at Greenwoods. We decided to have our wedding ceremony in our local church and head to Greenwoods afterwards for the wedding reception and wedding breakfast (three course meal). We hired the library room and had a fairly small wedding, which was absolutely perfect as we wanted a romantic and relaxed wedding during the day. We hired Greenwoods resident DJ, Tim who turned it into a great party! All the staff went above and beyond for us and our guests and helped to make our day so beautiful. There is honestly nothing to fault - it was a perfect day and we have the memories etched in our hearts forever. The food was also delicious and the chef was able to meet all our dietary needs and preferences. The bridal suite was stunning and the perfect room to get ready in the morning. The grounds are beautiful and make a lovely backdrop for photos. Thank you to all the staff at Greenwoods for helping to make our wedding day so special, we loved every moment. Love, Lauren & Nick x

From our initial visit through to the actual reception date nothing was too much trouble. On the day Michelle was helping lacing me into my dress and stayed late to make sure the meal service was perfect. Stephanie kept us on track with her knowledge and past experience and informative emails. Our day was perfect and all our guests have said what a fantastic day!

From start to finish everything was great. There were a few hitches with reserving rooms but our coordinator soon resolved this! They were really responsive and flexible wherever possible with our requests for the wedding. Wedding packages are also very competitive in comparison and the food was the talk of everyone there! The day went without any issues and we couldn’t recommend the Wivenhoe House Wedding/Event team more.
