We held a small family wedding (about 40 people) here and 'wow' the place and the team, particularly Angie, certainly were 'amazing'! The main house is beautiful and quirky and set in beautiful grounds, whilst the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It was spotlessly clean and felt very exclusive with it being sited away from neighbouring properties. We felt the setting was idyllic for our wedding and would certainly recommend it to others.

What can i say! 100% have your wedding here, you will not be disappointed. From first meeting Angie and the team in 2023, all the way through they were fantastic. We stayed in the beautiful cottage the night before. Our wedding morning, service, meal, evening everything was perfect.

Firstly, it certainly lives up to its name & more.


From the moment we booked to have our wedding day at TAP, we knew it was going to be special!

All the months of planning, Angie & Louise have been there every step of the way. Angie was always there on the end of an email or a phone call. To help, guide or advise!


We had our beautiful wedding day on Thursday 24th October and it was just incredible.
That amazing place, really is a special place and we feel so lucky and grateful to have got to have our wedding day there.
From the beautiful characteristisc house, to the beautiful marquee to the beautiful lake and outside grass it really has it all!

Every single one of the staff cannot do enough for you, Paul & all the team are just the loveliest people and we’re so friendly and helpful with anything we needed.




The actual day ran so smoothly with not a single hiccup and I truly beleive that was due to Angie & Louise’s efficiency! They were amazing from morning to night and constantly checked we were ok and if we needed anything.


We would reccomend this venue to anyone.. and if we could do our wedding again, we would do it here again & again.




We will always look back on our day knowing the venue was a pivotal part and with a big smile!

Where do I start... me and my now wife got married at "That amazing place" and not to sound too corny, but it was amazing!

The decor was both elegant and warm, whilst the space was perfect for our cosy big day!

I don't think I could rate this place any higher, but the staff made our special day all the more magical! They offered a number of wedding packages which we were able to tailor to perfectly suit what we had dreamt of... they were also so accommodating to all of our needs and implemented them fantastically.

The venue has good disabled access, and the staff had ramps they were all too willing to move around, which helped my wheelchair using mum fully experience our big day to the fullest.

We chose to stay the night, and accommodation was clean and luxurious, not to mention the delicious breakfast the morning after.

This all added up to a 10 out of 10 day and lifelong memory, a wondrous experience for me and my new wife.

We got married here in 2024. We had the most amazing day all coordinated by Angie and her amazing team! Everything about the venue was perfect and how we wanted it. We had our family dogs there too to top it all off!

We knew from when we first visited That Amazing Place that we wanted to get married there and on the day the venue really was everything we wanted it to be. Angie and the team we so great and made sure we had everything we needed.
All our guests loved the day and the place and we’re so happy with how everything turned out.

I honestly cannot recommend That Amazing Place more! Angie, Louise and the rest of the staff were incredible from start to finish. We first met Louise and Angie in February 2023 when they showed us around and we instantly knew we wanted to get married here. They couldn’t have made the experience more straightforward and stress free for us. On the day, everything was taken control of exactly how I would have wanted and everything ran smoothly thanks to Angie and Louise. Who are both so lovely and welcoming! The venue was spot on, the house is beautiful and the marquee was perfect for a party. Louise even drove us over the grass in a golf buggy to make sure we got some pictures outside without getting too wet due to the rain!
Absolutely loved staying in the wedding lodge the night before, stunning house and got everything you’d need (Angie and Louise came to say hello the night before also making me feel so relaxed about it all). Thank you so so much for everything you did for us and for making our day so perfect. Couldn’t have wished for a better venue. Lives up to its name!

We visited a few venues before That Amazing Place, but when we met Louise and walked around the venue we knew straight away that this was the place for us.
We loved their relaxed style and felt we could really have the wedding that we wanted and it did not disappoint.
Angie helped us to organise our day and used her experience to help guide us into making some sensible decision. I really felt as though she listened to what we wanted and was willing to accommodate our plans.

On the day it was the wedding we had dreamed of. both Angie, Louise and the TAP team were on hand to make our day perfect. They beautifully set up the venue and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy throughout the day.
I couldn't be more thankful to them for helping to create our perfect wedding. I will forever be grateful to them.

We cannot thank Angie and all the team enough for making our wedding an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, the day and night ran so smoothly and so perfectly, we really cannot thank you all enough for making all our dreams come true! The house and grounds are just stunning, we were lucky enough to have the sun shine so we could have our dream ceremony outside followed by an evening in the marquee. The wedding cottage the night before was an amazing experience and it was so special to spend the night before with my bridal party and have a stress free morning the next day! We had the most perfect day at That Amazing Place. The setting is what sold the venue to us and it did not disappoint on the day. Being able to have the ceremony outside was fantastic Angie and the team did a seamless job in pulling everything together. We were after a chilled and relaxed vibe, and we couldn’t have chosen anywhere better!

We got married here on the 2nd August 2024 and the wedding day was an absolute dream!!! From the moment we initially looked round the venue in September 2022 we knew That Amazing Place was the venue for us. The grounds were beautiful from the lake, the different ceremony rooms, the onsite accommodation and the marquee (it looked like something out of a fairytale!!). The booking process was extremely easy and smooth guided by the help of both of you in the planning stages. That Amazing Place had everything we needed from onsite accommodation for closest family and friends to stay, recommended caterers and other suppliers, to the addition of the Wedding Lodge for the night before. The use of hostology was excellent meaning that our wedding was personalised to exactly how we wanted it including regular emails keep us in the loop with any meetings and to double check certain aspects of the wedding.

The wedding day was absolutely perfect!! Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The weather was perfect meaning that we were lucky to have the ceremony outside which was beautiful next to the lake and thank you to Louise for topping me up with an endless supply of my favourite cocktail (that was very needed in the weather).

The wedding breakfast was absolutely divine, Plenty Of Thyme supplied incredible food, to which one of our guests said that it was better than their wedding day breakfast! My dad (who used to be a professional chef) said he could not fault the food and wished he had more of the lamb and cheesecake!

The recommended list of suppliers given at the start was perfect - we chose absolutely fabulous suppliers. Rob & Louise from Trebor Photography were fantastic and integrated well with our family and friends (photos will come in due course!), Andy from Herts Events was brilliant throughout the evening and created a dancing atmosphere (and trust me the dance floor was always full), Jo from Browns Blooms and Balloons supplied the most beautiful set of roses and JM events for the fantastic light up 'Mr & Mrs Wood' which created lots of photo opportunities!

Having spoken to all family & friends since the wedding they have all been so complimentary of the venue and have been speaking high praise about how beautiful That Amazing Place was and how enjoyable the day was. Our wedding day at That Amazing Place was absolutely perfect and we cannot thank the team enough for making it happen. It will be a day we will always treasure and have special memories of and we would recommend That Amazing Place to anyone in a heartbeat.

27th July will always be an extremely special day for us and we are so lucky to be able to share that with 'That Amazing Place'. As cliche as it sounds, 'amazing' is the best word to describe every moment of our wedding. Angie and Lizzy's attention to detail, thoughtfulness and talent, meant that our guests were blown over. I was lucky to have such incredible people be in charge of my hard work and planning, which was executed perfectly.
