We had the most perfect day at That Amazing Place. The setting is what sold the venue to us and it did not disappoint on the day. Being able to have the ceremony outside was fantastic Angie and the team did a seamless job in pulling everything together. We were after a chilled and relaxed vibe, and we couldn’t have chosen anywhere better!

27th July will always be an extremely special day for us and we are so lucky to be able to share that with 'That Amazing Place'. As cliche as it sounds, 'amazing' is the best word to describe every moment of our wedding. Angie and Lizzy's attention to detail, thoughtfulness and talent, meant that our guests were blown over. I was lucky to have such incredible people be in charge of my hard work and planning, which was executed perfectly. The compliments from our guests about the beauty of the grounds were endless, and it's clear that their hard work and dedication played a huge part in that.

Angie and her staff made the entire day a breeze, ensuring that everything was stress free for us. No request was too much, and their helpfulness was greatly appreciated. Knowing they were there for us, especially so soon after Angie’s operation, meant the world to us.

We can’t express how amazing our wedding day was when we got married at That Amazing Place.
We fell in love with the venue from the first time we visited, it’s beautiful scenery and peaceful grounds made it the perfect place to “Tie the Knot”.
Angie and Louise did a fantastic job during planning and seeing it all come together after so long was a dream come true. They went above and beyond, and it was the best day of our lives.

The name is well suited to this venue! Such a wonderful team at That Amazing Place, without them and the beautiful grounds (as well as the accommodation) our wedding would have not been as lovely as it was ❤️ Angie was incredible at organising, she was very helpful and so thoughtful. No matter what came up, Angie and the TAP team would discuss with me and already have options ready to help everyone have a lovely day and be sure things went as smoothly as possible. Most importantly they was very accommodating when it came to my dog, they all gave her the attention she needed and made sure she was having the best day as the ring bearer 😂 so thank you very much to the whole of the TAP team (including the owners, who are the sweetest💕) yous all went above and beyond and I'll always be thankful for that!

We first starting planning our wedding in 2015 and That Amazing Place was our chosen venue fast forward children and 8 years we revisited the venue and met again with Angie and we fell in love with all over again. We had the best day of our lives and this was all down to That Amazing Place. From our first meeting, hundreds of questions to the day itself all the staff at That Amazing Place were there to help us and were outstanding on making sure it was our day and we were happy!!

We got married here on Saturday 15th July and we wanted to thank TAP for making the day so special for us! It was love at first sight as this was the first venue we saw and nothing could compare to it since. The venue is dog friendly which was a huge plus since we have two fur babies which we wanted to include on our day. They have the most beautiful grounds with a lake so you can get married in an outside setting with the beautiful trees and lake as your backdrop. We were also impressed with the rooms within the venue where our guests could stay the night.

I also stayed at the wedding lodge the night before with my bridesmaids so we could relax and have an amazing pre wedding celebration. The rooms were spacious and the cottage was fantastic. Huge garden and outside space and an open plan kitchen diner where we spent most of our time. Angie, Louise and the owner Paul couldn’t have been more helpful. We were overwhelmed with gratitude. Angie dealt with my million questions efficiently every time and nothing was too much to ask. We were so worried about getting married outside as the weather was not looking great but in the end it turned out to be absolutely fine. Everything ran smoothly on the day and it was an amazing feeling to have such a supportive team behind us. All our guests were blown away by the venue, food and service. I would highly recommend choosing TAP for your special day. The only regret we have is that it ended so quickly and we would happily do it all over again.

I was lucky enough to get married at That Amazing Place last month. You can absolutely see where it got its name from, it truly is amazing. The whole place is homely, not just by the decor and furnishings but because of the people that run it. Everyone is so kind, helpful and so brilliantly clever that nothing was ever too much trouble. All of my many questions were answered quickly and efficiently and we were looked after from start to finish. I can't thank the team at TAP for making our wedding day so perfect and I wish I could do it all over again.

From the moment we first arrived to meet Angie and view the venue we knew this was where we would celebrate our wedding. As we walked through the door we felt so welcome, there was such a calm, relaxed atmosphere, almost like walking into your own home, if only we had such a fabulous home!

Angie and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating, from our very first enquiry to the morning after the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble.

Come the day of our wedding everything went without a hitch, we couldn’t have planned for a better day, it was everything we’d hoped and more, we’d do it all again if we could.

We cannot thank Angie and all the team enough for making our wedding an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, the day and night ran so smoothly and so perfectly, we really cannot thank you all enough for making all our dreams come true! The house and grounds are just stunning, we were lucky enough to have the sun shine so we could have our dream ceremony outside followed by an evening in the marquee. The wedding cottage the night before was an amazing experience and it was so special to spend the night before with my bridal party and have a stress free morning the next day! That Amazing Place will always be so so special to us, a truly unforgettable day! Thank you all so so much!

We got married here on the 2nd August 2024 and the wedding day was an absolute dream!!! From the moment we initially looked round the venue in September 2022 we knew That Amazing Place was the venue for us. The grounds were beautiful from the lake, the different ceremony rooms, the onsite accommodation and the marquee (it looked like something out of a fairytale!!). The booking process was extremely easy and smooth guided by the help of both of you in the planning stages. That Amazing Place had everything we needed from onsite accommodation for closest family and friends to stay, recommended caterers and other suppliers, to the addition of the Wedding Lodge for the night before. The use of hostology was excellent meaning that our wedding was personalised to exactly how we wanted it including regular emails keep us in the loop with any meetings and to double check certain aspects of the wedding.

The wedding day was absolutely perfect!! Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The weather was perfect meaning that we were lucky to have the ceremony outside which was beautiful next to the lake and thank you to Louise for topping me up with an endless supply of my favourite cocktail (that was very needed in the weather).

The wedding breakfast was absolutely divine, Plenty Of Thyme supplied incredible food, to which one of our guests said that it was better than their wedding day breakfast! My dad (who used to be a professional chef) said he could not fault the food and wished he had more of the lamb and cheesecake!

The recommended list of suppliers given at the start was perfect - we chose absolutely fabulous suppliers. Rob & Louise from Trebor Photography were fantastic and integrated well with our family and friends (photos will come in due course!), Andy from Herts Events was brilliant throughout the evening and created a dancing atmosphere (and trust me the dance floor was always full), Jo from Browns Blooms and Balloons supplied the most beautiful set of roses and JM events for the fantastic light up 'Mr & Mrs Wood' which created lots of photo opportunities!

Having spoken to all family & friends since the wedding they have all been so complimentary of the venue and have been speaking high praise about how beautiful That Amazing Place was and how enjoyable the day was. Our wedding day at That Amazing Place was absolutely perfect and we cannot thank the team enough for making it happen. It will be a day we will always treasure and have special memories of and we would recommend That Amazing Place to anyone in a heartbeat.

We got married on 1st June at this very special venue. ‘That amazing place’ really lives up to its name.. and MORE! I don’t know where to start, Angie, Paul, Louise and the team were absolutely incredible from start - finish. We had an unbelievable wedding day and they made our dreams come true. ❤️

The main house, marquee and grounds are all very well looked after/maintained and the views are breathtaking.. we were so lucky to have our wedding outside by the lake, despite the wind on occasions and Angie kindly sat during the entire ceremony holding my veil still!

The whole vibe of the day was everything we visioned and more. We were so pleasantly taken back to see everything we planned come to life over the last 15 months and it was a real pinch me moment that it was OUR day finally!😍

Our autistic son, unfortunately didn’t cope too well on the day itself, despite being allowed plenty of occasions to take him to the venue multiple times. Angie happily accommodated us to meet my sons needs and allowed us a lot of extra time in the wedding lodge and this really was so helpful! They really went above and beyond.

If you’re thinking of booking this beautiful venue, you will not regret it.. their attention to detail is impeccable and you will have the best day EVER. I wish we could re live our special day over and over again.. it was truly amazing!
