Country Wedding Venues in Essex

Me and my wife lily had a fantastic time at the room in the rodings where we got married in September 2025. The venue was reasonably priced, the staff were great and very helpful, but the best thing was the freedom we had to bring in our own food and drinks, and decorate the venue to our needs.

We had the best day of our lives at Pontlands Park and i cannot thank the staff enough, from the moment we enquired about what we wanted to the actual day we couldn't have felt more looked after and the whole process was seamless! We wanted an outdoor Wedding which we got in the Gazebo on their lawns, with a backdrop of the lake followed by canapes some drinks and photos. The whole setting couldn't have been anymore perfect. We then had our meal in the Conservatory, again the team made everything stress free by coordinating this for us. The meal itself was delicious and all our guests also commented how amazing it was! Thank you to all the staff for everything!!

We had our wedding here in March this year and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, the service was excellent — we had regular meetings in the lead-up to make sure everything was planned and ran smoothly on the day. The staff were absolutely amazing and took care of everything, meaning we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. It made the whole day completely stress-free and allowed us to just enjoy every moment. We had a particular theme in mind for our wedding party setup, and Sam and Ann went above and beyond to help us achieve it. The space looked absolutely beautiful - even better than we had imagined! We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue enough, the staff, the service, and the attention to detail were all outstanding. Thank you for helping make our day so special!

This venue was everything we had ever dreamed of and more. The venue is stunning and the space perfect. We got married in the rosewood suite which is a lovely long aisle to walk down, had the reception drinks in the gardens which was stunning and perfect for a hot sunny day. Our evening was upstairs in the ballroom and this was the whole reason we chose this venue. The space is perfect and the dance floor and glitter ball is so pretty. With the help of our venue decorator this room was breathtaking. From start to finish our wedding co ordinator was on hand to answer any questions we had and helped us to ensure our day was perfect.

Our wedding was co ordinated by no other than the incredible Tracy Norris. From start to finish Tracy was a delight to deal with and really contributed to making OUR wedding day as special as possible. From the small intricate details to the larger unforgettable moments, Tracy was there to support & guide us through the entire journey. The venue itself is stunning, we had all weather types, blue skies and sun, cloud & some rain on our wedding day however this venue is super resilient and somehow varying environmental factors each bring out a different beautiful side of Down Hall. This venue suits Summer & Winter weddings, it’s truly a one stop shop for your perfect wedding day, believe me. Everything was tailored towards what we wanted, and within our budget, Tracy from start to finish ensured that this was a completely exclusive process, we felt like we owned the venue which we can’t be more thankful for. From me and my wife Daisy, keep doing what you are doing, we wouldn’t have had anyone else guide us through our special day, we already miss the planning meetings with you! You are a super star! Had our wedding on 22.08.2025, Blake Hall made it so easy on the day - there was absolutely no stress, everyone was so helpful and attentive, the staff were absolutely amazing - Dave, Natalie and Shannon were so friendly and couldn't be more helpful with setting up and keeping track of what was happening - anything you needed, they were there. We were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The little check ins and updates in the morning from Natalie and Shannon like coming to let us know when the boys had arrived on sight and that everything had been set up kept us all very calm and excited for our day. You know you're in for an amazing day when the staff get excited for your day too! The food was fab and everyone can't stop telling us how perfect the day was and how beautiful the venue is. Thanks so much to all the team at Blake Hall (the gardeners and staff behind the scenes need a mention too as the grounds are absolutely pristine) and Waters Edge Catering for making our day run so perfectly. We had the best day, it was better than we could have ever imagined.

We got married on 08/11/25 and can’t recommend Crondon Park enough! We had an absolutely perfect day the venue is beautiful and the staff are so accommodating and well organised. From the day we booked, the venue was easy to contact. All queries were answered quickly and staff went above and beyond. Our wedding day was amazing and ran smoothly, the staff were so helpful and the day flowed perfectly. Our wedding day at Hutton Hall was truly magical—like a scene from a fairytale. Paola was exceptional throughout the lead-up to our wedding, treating us like family with her genuine kindness and support. On the morning of the big day, Francesca ensured everything ran smoothly, helping us feel calm and relaxed. One thoughtful detail we appreciated was having beautiful artificial flowers provided by Hutton Hall, which meant we didn’t have to worry about additional décor—making the planning process so much easier. Hutton Hall far exceeded our expectations, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to create their own magical wedding experience.

Not sure really where to begin, but Baddow Park House really is the perfect place for your wedding. We knew as soon as we drove up to it, that there was something special about it! Gaynor and all of the team are so accommodating and welcoming - every time we went, we felt like we were going home. Their portal is easy to use and it’s a good way to get an idea of what your day will look like! Gaynor is always just an email away - she responded to us regularly and helped us with anything we needed. We can’t believe how perfect our day was ❤️ All of our guests keep saying how beautiful the venue was and how helpful all of the staff were. We wish we could do it all over again! We will be back for open days and probably just to pop in and catch up, as we miss it already. Huge thank you to everyone at Baddow Park House for making our dream wedding happen! We are forever grateful.
