Facilities and Capacity
Your Ceremony
Broadfield has five acres of stunning gardens in the midst of a private estate, so couples often choose to immerse themselves in their surroundings with an outdoor wedding. The rose garden, woodland, orchard or lawns are all beautiful locations to marry, with weddings from two to 175 able to take place. For an indoor wedding, the wood panelled dining room with its huge stone fireplace can seat up to 60, with the sun-filled inner hall seating up to 50. For larger numbers, Broadfield's fold yard hexagonal marquee structure can seat up to 150. Either with just its high, flag-topped roof, or with its walls enclosing your guests for bad weather days, the fold yard is a captivating garden room style space. And NEW for weddings from 2026 onwards, the Broadfield barn will seat up to around 120 for a ceremony.
Your Drinks Reception
At Broadfield, the terrace and rose garden are the perfect place for drinks and canapes, but couples can choose anywhere they wish, from the vineyard to the lawns to the orchard. For bad weather or winter weddings, the house is ideal with its open fires and elegant interiors.
Your Wedding Breakfast and Reception
For intimate weddings of up to 50, Broadfield's dining room is a beautiful space. For up to around 90, Broadfield's fold yard structure creates an outdoor feel with its sides removed, or a cosy indoor space with its walls on, even in chilier months. And NEW for 2026 and beyond, the Broadfield barn will also seat up to around 90 with more able to join after dinner for the party. For over that number or for those wanting a different space, a tipi or marquee over-looking the gorgeous Herefordshire countryside is ideal, accommodating up to 175 guests comfortably and can be chosen from any supplier to suit your style and budget. Broadfield's seperate beautiful rustic bar building is included in the exclusive hire, situated between the fold yard and back lawns, and is fully stocked for your day including with Broadfield's own sparkling wine, cider and apple juice.
Your Stay
Broadfield has eight delightful bedrooms for your wedding party or guests to stay in comfortable and elegant surroundings. One of these bedrooms is an stylish suite, complete with a dressing room perfect for you and your party to get ready. Or if you need another bedroom, the team can convert that room into a ninth bedroom for guests. They are also able to provide put up beds and cots if needed. The team can also recommend trusted caterers who can provide delicious, locally sourced food to your house guests or you can self cater. The Broadfield Coach House is less than a minute's stroll from the main house and is available to hire by couples or guests, with three more bedrooms, meaning the whole venue can sleep up to 31 people.
Catering
At Broadfield, you can choose any caterer you wish, with the catering kitchen included in your hire. Anything from fine dining to streetfood to big pan dishes - it is the couples' choice. Of course, the team have lots of recommendations for excellent caterers who will create delicious food for your big day, so you don't need to start from scratch. You may also purchase alcohol from the venue's carefully chosen list, or you can supply your own with corkage applied, and the venue open the bar from any time for guests to buy their own drinks.
Planning
Broadfield offer planning as part of your hire. From your first viewing until the big day and beyond, the Broadfield team will be with you every step of the way. You will have numerous planning meetings, be invited to open days, and have your own dedicated planner to help with everything from suppliers and timings to those last, all important details.

The perfect wedding venue/best weekend of our lives!
There are neither enough words nor enough stars to reflect how grateful we are to Fran, Alex and the team at Broadfield in this review. Our weekend at Broadfield was the best of our lives! From the first time we looked around the venue we could tell how special it is & despite it being a cold/gloomy January day, we were drawn to Broadfield for how warm and inviting it felt. from that moment onwards, we received nothing but reassurance and support from Fran and Alex through every stage of the wedding planning process. We simply could not have pulled it off without them & felt that they would and did go above and beyond in every way to make our weekend truly special, unique and perfect. We could not have felt more looked after and supported, from the start to the day itself. We booked the house from Friday until Monday. We had initially been unsure about whether we wanted to do the full 3 days but we are so glad that we did. The drinks reception on Friday meant we’d already mingled and so didn’t have to stress on the Saturday (the wedding day) about getting round to speak to everyone, it also took the edge off the nerves of seeing everyone on the Saturday for the first time! On the Saturday, everything went seamlessly & because you pick your own suppliers at Broadfield, it felt like a day that was truly ours. The Sunday drinks/BBQ was 100% necessary to digest everything from the day before and have a more chilled day with our nearest and dearest. The venue itself is beautiful, both in terms of accommodation and scenery, all of our guests were obsessed with how lovely it is. Do not miss out on having the Broadfield sparkling for your drinks reception- our guests were leaving with bottles of it! There is not a single thing we could or would fault with Broadfield and Fran, Alex, and the team. It is the perfect place to have your wedding.

Incredible personalised venue
We can’t recommend Broadfield enough, and are so happy we chose it as our wedding venue. You can really personalise your wedding, because you’re able to choose all of your own suppliers. Broadfield itself is absolutely stunning, both in terms of the Manor House and the gorgeous grounds too. It lends itself to any sort of wedding you like, to match your personality - from a woodland wedding, to a rose garden wedding or vows in front of a roaring fire - the list is endless! Mostly though, the owners couldn’t be more helpful, kind and understanding. We got to know them well, and could pick their brains on anything knowing they had so much experience - this further lends itself to making the day itself even more perfect and personal.

Exceptional Venue - The Perfect Day
For the care and attention that was shown to us from the moment of first contact, to the big day itself, we cannot express enough gratitude to Fran and Alex for their support in making sure our wedding day everything we had dreamed of.
In our opinion, Broadfield is the perfect wedding venue! Set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and views for miles, with a stunning house both inside and out, guests can’t help but be impressed. The grounds are simply beautiful, and varied – meaning the opportunity for photos is endless.
For us, one of the main attractions was the ability to extend the celebrations over the entirety of the weekend, and with many of our guests able to stay on site, it meant we could enjoy their company and the venue to the fullest. It really is your own paradise for the weekend with no sense of being rushed out for another wedding to take place.
Although daunting, the planning was seamless with Fran’s support. Her knowledge and relationships with the best suppliers mean at every point of contact you hear how glad they are to be supplying to a Broadfield wedding – more often than not letting us know it is their favourite venue to work with. You have the ability to make the day exactly what you want and Fran is on hand to make sure it happens, offering her excellent advice when you need it!
Being a family run business really sets Broadfield apart from the rest, and the thoughtfulness, kindness and experience that this family has really shines through, you feel like they are friends for life! Above and beyond doesn’t do them justice, you will be in the safest of hands.

Professional and welcoming
We first went to a wedding fayre at Broadfield. From that first visit, we felt that it was going to be our place to get married. Fran, Helen, Alex and John have been overseeing our journey over 18 months. Leading up to the day, we had various visits to fine tune exactly what we wanted and Helen kept our wedding planner updated on a regular basis. To have the day before the wedding with close family & friends staying the night, was great and everyone that stayed enjoyed it. There are a few different places outside to get married and we settled for the rose garden. Except for a rain shower just as the bride was to make her appearance, the day could not have gone better. Everyone that attended, mentioned how fantastic the venue was. The staff were also very attentive throughout the day. From the start of our journey to leaving the day after, we have felt that we have been listened to and guided throughout the whole process. We will have endless memories to look back on and thank the Broadfield family, from the bottom of our hearts for such a magical time. #friendsfor life.

Stunning venue and amazing staff
Broadfield is a very special place and I couldn’t recommend it enough as a wedding venue. One of the wonderful things about it is that there are so many beautiful areas to get married, have your reception drinks or your wedding breakfast, that I imagine that no two weddings they host there are ever the same. The other wonderful thing is the staff. It’s run by a family whose care, attention, passion and hard work makes you feel like you’re the only couple they’re working with. The team they have working for them were all fantastic too.
We chose the venue because we wanted a marquee reception but also wanted accommodation and plenty of contingency plans so we didn’t need to worry about the weather. With spacious rooms downstairs in the house as well as a cosy bar area, your guests would still have a lovely time exploring the venue, even if you did have a rainy day. We were lucky and had sun and it was gorgeous. We got married in the fold yard and there were bees and butterflies busy in the lavender behind us. Our guests and us were in English countryside heaven for the weekend and will be thinking of an excuse to return at some point. Our only regret is not convincing the owners to let us stay the Sunday night too so we could have really savoured it.
It’s a stunning venue and you feel like you’re giving your guests a real treat. You also get a really professional, attentive and thorough coordinator who is with you every step during the planning stages.
Their recommended suppliers list is extensive and I would definitely trust and recommendation they gave.

Our perfect woodland wedding
We had the most perfect wedding at Broadfield in July. Initially we fell in love with the gorgeous grounds which included the woodland, rose garden and many other spaces with gorgeous views all around. The house then offered many rooms which were decorated so tastefully and we thought it would suit all of our family (children and dogs included!).
When looking round Frances, Alex and the team were so helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. They were also laid back and were able to create our own individual wedding. After looking round many venues, all of these points was the reason why we both immediately knew it was the venue for us.
The lead up to the wedding was smooth and organised. Frances and the team were there when we needed and Frances was able to share some great recommendations, we really knew we were in the best hands. We also loved the two open days, which made us super excited for the big day!
When it got to the weekend of the wedding, we arrived the Friday and could relax and set up with out nearest and dearest. Frances had organised suppliers to come when needed so and had been in touch with them, taking any extra stress of our hands. The big day came and Frances and the team ran everything so smoothly. Once In A Lifetime Experience
How absolutely wonderful was our experience with the team at Broadfield? One word: exceptional. Fran and Alex, right from the very beginning when we showed initial interest, were to hand to help us with every decision. From inviting us to one of their many wedding events, where you can meet suppliers and see some of the teepees and decoration setup, to the final "I do" and the checking out briefing. Fran was our Planner, and was so understanding and reassuring - helping you to, not only, choose everything you wanted, but to also save a little bit here and there for the bits that weren't really needed. They have a wealth of trusted suppliers to choose from, but are also open to you bringing some in. And even when you decide to ball it all up and start again, well thats okay with Fran too. In short: the team are on it! I was really nervous about planning a wedding, thinking I was never going to manage it without suffering some sort of breakdown, but Fran kept us buoyant and literally took all the hassle out of it. She was patient, kind and empathetic - I think shes probably seen it all before! And the rest of the team, its a family business, really welcomed you in as if you were one of their own.

Most incredible venue
Before we were even engaged, we fell in love with Broadfield Court and knew when our time came it just had to be here. Frances and her whole family become like a second family and as soon as we met them, we knew we had chosen the right place. Frances is just the most incredible support with a wealth of experience, expertise and guidance. The whole planning process was a dream.
When our wedding finally came, Frances was on hand at all times and their beautiful home became ours for the weekend. All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of the building and grounds. Despite a rainy start to the day, Frances had plan A, B and C all sorted and I was so relaxed all day and luckily it turned into the most beautiful day. The day ran so smoothly and this was all down to the hardworking team we had. The ability to spend all weekend here is what makes Broadfield so unique and special and we will always cherish the moments we shared here with our closest friends and family.
All of the team and local suppliers were fantastic to work with and so professional but also lots of fun. It really does feel like one big family. Thank you to all involved with our wedding.

A dream wedding at the perfect venue.
Broadfield court, and the team there, made our wedding the most wonderful day of our life. The venue is magnificent, cosy in places, grand in places, and beautiful throughout. We now have such wonderful memories in their rose garden, wildflower meadow and throughout the house. Much less publicised is how special the team there are. Frances and Alex helped us plan our day, contributing all their expertise, then worked so hard to make it so perfect. Broadfield court is a wonderful venue and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

A truly exceptional venue in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside
We can't shout enough praise about Broadfield Court, Fran and Alex! The property itself is stunning; we’re an outdoorsy couple who were looking for somewhere to represent our passion for woodland, flowers and the countryside and after searching all over Herefordshire, nothing else came close to the natural beauty and warmth of Broadfield. Their grounds have it all; vineyard, orchard trees, rolling hills, rose gardens and forest!
We were even lucky enough with the weather (only just!) to hold our wedding ceremony in their magical woodland area, and Fran went above and beyond to make it happen. Despite a rainy morning, she coordinated everything seamlessly —moving stacks of chairs and making sure every detail was perfect right up until I walked down the aisle.
One of the greatest perks of choosing Broadfield Court is Fran and Alex themselves. From start to finish, they supported us checking in regularly and ensuring we had access to brilliant local suppliers - from coaches to hotels to saxophonists they knew the person for any creative vision. We even extended our stay to spend a third night there, hosting a Sunday family sports day on the lawn with those stunning views of the rolling hills—it truly felt like a fairytale weekend. The dining room was also perfect for a Friday family and bridal party buffet and the rooms were spotlessly clean.
Fran’s attention to detail kept everything running smoothly, putting our minds completely at ease. The fact that our dog could join in the celebrations (with Fran even stopping him from sneaking some fruit cake!) just shows how thoughtful and accommodating they are. Broadfield Court also provided ample space for our bridal party to stay - we loved the addition of the coach house - making it feel like the best, most joyful sleepover ever.

The most magical venue with an exceptional level of care from the team.
We had our wedding at Broadfield Court in July 2024 and it was the best weekend of our lives! For two years we have been supported by Helen to plan our dream wedding. She has been responsive and quick to support any idea that we had. In the days before the wedding she made sure we have everything set and helped us change any details without a problem. On the actual weekend of the wedding Helen supported us throughout and clearly set out our hour by hour plans to make sure that everything ran as smooth as it could- and it did! Helen’s kindness and ability to manage everything made for the best time ever and we will forever be grateful to her for making it all happen.
Broadfield itself is a beautiful venue. It was close to our families, so an ideal location. The surrounding area had a great amount of accommodation for our guests and for our extra special guests we could provide them a room at Broadfield. The rooms are beautiful and well sized and could accommodate a mix of our friends and family. The facilities have everything you need and more. Talking a walk in the gardens was a beautiful way to end our stay. We got married in the forest which was magical and everything I’d dreamed of. This is the perfect place for all your forest wedding fantasies!

The most perfect wedding venue!
Broadfield Court was the perfect venue for our countryside, wildflower-themed summer wedding.
Before finding Broadfield we'd looked at countless venues and none felt quite like us however as soon as we stepped inside Broadfield it felt right. From the beautiful house, and wonderful garden to the woodland area which was the ideal picturesque setting for our ceremony to take place - we were even treated to a visit from the cows in the neighbouring field! The venue is perfect for those who want to personalise their wedding and experience the wonders of the Herefordshire countryside.
Helen and all the staff at Broadfield were amazing - all our wishes were catered for and more, and the family-run approach gives the venue an extremely personal feel. Helen and the team were extremely organised and supportive throughout. We visited Broadfield multiple times - on open days and planning sessions which was very helpful to our planning.

Before finding Broadfield we'd looked at countless venues and none felt quite like us however as soon as we stepped inside Broadfield it felt right. From the beautiful house, and wonderful garden to the woodland area which was the ideal picturesque setting for our ceremony to take place - we were even treated to a visit from the cows in the neighbouring field! The venue is perfect for those who want to personalise their wedding and experience the wonders of the Herefordshire countryside.
Helen and all the staff at Broadfield were amazing - all our wishes were catered for and more, and the family-run approach gives the venue an extremely personal feel. Helen and the team were extremely organised and supportive throughout. We visited Broadfield multiple times - on open days and planning sessions which was very helpful to our planning.
