Stanford Farm is a wedding and events venue just outside Shrewsbury, Shropshire. From rustic charm to festival fun, the team is ready to plan your day, your way. With a romantic lakeside, colourful courtyard garden and fantatsic facilities, you can have a tranquil event from beginning to end.
Facilities and Capacity
Stanford Farm's stables have been licensed for wedding ceremonies and are set within an enchanting courtyard. The farm's Bull Barn has been upcycled into a stylish bar. This outdoor area has plenty of room for garden games alongside the garden tipi and rustic seating gazebos. Besides the outdoor area, the Cow House is a large wooden clad barn that can seat up to 180 for food and up to 200 guests in total. The team is very willing to work with you to help organise the venue to be as unique as you are. In addition to these event spaces no one has to go far at the end of the night with a variety of on-site accommodations farmhouse for 12 guests, 4 hobbit huts, a shepherds hut and Double Decker bus (Dame Shirley Bussey!) Your guests can also camp or bring vans.

Best day of our lives
The team at Stanford farm made our dream wedding run perfectly, they made it stress free so we could just enjoy the day. The venue was so beautiful and perfectly set out for whatever the weather. The stables are the most beautiful place to say “I do”.
With the venue being dog friendly we had our two dogs with us at the wedding, both high energy dogs so we was worried with how it would go but with the team being so relaxed we was able to relax and let our dogs enjoy the big venue grounds and they had the best time.
Best decision that we chose this venue. We loved every second of our day and we couldn’t thank the team enough for making our day not only for us but for every single guest so special and amazing

Allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our special day
We fell in love with Stanford Farm as soon as we visited for our first viewing. From the individualised tour, taking the time to get to know us, to being on the end of an email answering our questions, the staff took care of us every step of the way and ensured we could truly relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. The staff work so hard, with plenty of attention to detail. Particular shout out to Keith, for whom nothing was too much trouble. He gave us practical and emotional support throughout the day, lending his knowledge and expertise but allowing us to do things our way.

DIY venue- fantastically unique with the best customer service
Great venue- blank canvas you can make as formal/informal as you like. Fab!
Exclusive use of the venue means it's perfect for children- we felt assured that the children could run around safely and have the time of their life! Keith Is a star- nothing is too much trouble and you feel that your wedding is the most important thing to him which was so reassuring for us. The prop shop was fantsstic- saved us lots of money in the long run in terms of decoration and the finer little touches. All our guests raved about the venue, and if we could do it all again we would choose stanford farm and the team ten times over! We would gave no hesitation in recommending this as a wedding venue with the best customer service

Fabulous Venue
We got married at Stanford farm on 5th October 2024. Keith and all the Stanford farm team were brilliant from the first meeting to the day itself. The venue is stunning and constantly there is investment being made. Having Keith with us to co ordinate the day meant that we could relax and have the most perfect day with our Guests. We cannot thank the team enough.

Stanford Farm
Stanford Farm offers quite a unique opportunity to really personalise your wedding experience. We didn’t want to go somewhere where we felt like we were just on a conveyor belt and didn’t have time to really enjoy the experience with our guests - Stanford Farm gave us the ability to extend the celebration across an entire weekend. It is a bit more effort to manage but Cindy, Keith and the team were there to offer their support throughout and it was absolutely worth it. We also loved the range of Accomodation on-site and having everyone there all day was brilliant. The only thing that didn’t play ball for us was the weather but that just made it even more memorable…and the team pulled out all the stops to ensure even biblical rain didn’t spoil our day!

Wedding of our dreams!
We had the wedding of our dreams at Stanford. Cindy was always on hand to answer any queries and also let us visit last minute with suppliers etc. She was away for our wedding weekend but Keith was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble he was kind, complimentary and so helpful in the running of our day - always checking in with us and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The venue itself was just perfect. The plants and gardens are kept so beautiful. The Cow Shed just got prettier every time we saw it. The fairy lights are just stunning. The farmhouse is great and spacious, beds are super comfy. All staff are so friendly and hardworking. We just adored it and will recommend it to everyone for the rest of time. You guys are just incredible and you do such a wonderful job. We felt like we were the only wedding to have ever been there - the attention to detail from you all and the dedication to us as a couple for the entire weekend just made us feel so special and we honestly had the wedding of our dreams. Absolutely perfect.
We never in a million years wanted a 'traditional wedding' but Stanford Farm gave us the opportunity to have an 'us' wedding.
- 3 solid days of family, friends, party, music and chill!
Im still in disbelief of how amazing our 'festival wedding' really was.
One thing that really made this venue stand out for us, was the people.
Genuine vibes from start to finish made us feel at ease in a completely new venture - we had never planned a wedding before & could feel that we were completely out of our depths.
We visited many venues and the magnitude of it all, the hidden charges and the fact we didn't quite understand the lingo - was starting to make us feel quite vulnerable, but as soon as we set foot onto the farm every thing just seemed to fit into place.
The staff are incredible.
Everything was fairly priced, upfront, open & clear to understand - which really made such a huge difference in the planning process!
They really took the time to listen to our questions, nothing was too daft & they took the time to make sure we were happy with our choices.
Although ours was a DIY wedding, staff are also on hand during the day and worked so hard to make sure everything went to plan, honestly couldn't of asked for anything more.
The whole experience was just so chilled, organised and full of love (and jagermeister)
Stanford farm will always have a huge place in our hearts.

Beautiful venue - best day ever
No words can describe how amazing our time at Stanford Farm was. From the start Cindy and her team were excellent and answered our countless emails in the run up to our big day. We had the best three days and no task was too big or too small for Keith which we are extremely grateful for! Stanford Farm is the perfect venue with a great mix of outdoor and indoor space. Getting married by the lake was magical and the photos do not do it justice. It is a beautiful location that we will always remember. If you want a bespoke wedding to make your own then Stanford Farm is the ideal place. All the staff are friendly and really help to make your day special. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

Fabulous wedding venue for all budgets
I can't praise Stanford farm enough. They were so helpful and supportive and made our wedding seem like a breeze. Nothing was too much trouble. The weather wasn't great but they made sure it didn't affect our day and we will remember it forever.

Perfection
Stanford farm is the perfect place to get married. Cindy and her team are easy going, helpful and genuine people. The location is stunning and a blank canvas to do as you please with. Our wedding was the best weekend of our lives and all of our guests commented on the location. Having accommodation on sight was a huge plus for us and our guests. We hold Stanford farm close to our hearts and always will. Highly recommended.
