We were lucky enough to get married at Moat Hall Barns in August 2025 and had the most incredible day.

We first came across the venue when researching locations around Shrewsbury/ Telford and immediately booked to attend an open day after viewing photos online. While there, we fell in love with the venue and its grounds, and immediately booked our wedding date with the coordination service. Amy and Ben were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process; we booked various suppliers who we had met on the open day which made the process of planning the wedding completely effortless, and it was reassuring to know that they were suppliers who had worked at the venue before and were trustworthy. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Amy was always willing to answer our questions and give us pointers in terms of timings and details which we may have forgotten.

The day itself was perfect and we received so many compliments on the venue; our guests were blown away by the amenities, how beautifully the barn had been restored, and all of the areas they could explore throughout the day. Even things like the ease of the parking were praised by our guests, something that was especially helpful for guests in wheelchairs. We were so delighted with how perfectly the venue could be shaped into our dream, and it was great to see all of our visions come to life - something that's incredibly nerve-wracking when planning a wedding day. Amy and Ben couldn't have been more helpful across the three days that we hired Moat Hall Barns, and it was always such a relief to know that they were close at hand to help out if we had any questions or needed any advice.

We couldn't have been happier to have Moat Hall Barns as our wedding venue. The place is stunning and Amy and Ben were so incredibly helpful and ensured our day went perfectly. There wasn't a single hitch. We would fully recommend Moat Hall Barns as a wedding venue it was a fantastic day and night and all we could have wished for.

We got married here 25/10/2025 and what a magical day we had.

We came to Moat Hall looking for the perfect venue after having to cancel on our first venue due to a bad experience. Those bad experiences came to a stop once we booked here. The owners are incredible and have been on hand from the moment we booked, right up until our big day. Because you get the barn for the whole weekend, it was great to have them on hand to help on the Friday and ask final questions to. On our actual wedding day, Amy was fantastic and you wouldn’t have spotted her amongst our guests, but knowing she was around and on hand if anything went wrong was reassuring for us.

The grounds are simply beautiful and we went back to view the venue multiple times throughout planning, noticing something new and equally as gorgeous each time we went. The new on site accommodation had recently been completed so we also got to have this within our package. It is stunning and compared to all the local hotels we looked at, this was the best of the best and we are so glad we got to benefit from using it on the night of our wedding. We just wish we could do it all again, we’d choose this venue every time. Thank you so much for everything and for making our day so special.

You will not find another venue locally or further afield that gives you the service you get here for the price that you pay. We saw venues that were triple the cost of this, who to this day haven’t replied to us after our initial contact. We highly recommend Moat Hall Barns.

We were fortunate enough to be able to have Moat hall Barns as our wedding Venue on August bank holiday of this year. This venue was absolutely perfect for us. The converted barn was a wonderful space for the wedding breakfast in the afternoon; prior to becoming a great space for the party in the evening.
There is an outdoor covered barn which was a perfect space for the mobile bar/pizza vans/ photo booth and socialising space.
Fortunately, the weather was wonderful on the day allowing us to use the outdoor aisle; however there is a wonderful loft area that provides an alternate aisle option and separate room that can be used as you wish.
We were absolutely delighted by the scenery available The outdoor sections of this venue allowed for a range of perfect photos by the beautiful lake and surrounding hills that have provided us with magical moments we will never forget.

This venue is so beautiful indoors and outdoors but what makes this venue so special is the hosts Ben and Amy. From the first viewing they were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and something we found really incredible was how honest and transparent they were about suppliers and potential hidden costs. In an industry that can benefit greatly from charging extortionate pricing and extra-add on; Ben and Amy from the start were great at advising us where we may encounter some of these pitfalls and ensured none of these were encountered at the venue. Immensely refreshing to be able to work with individuals who truly seem invested in helping you have the best day possible. The recommended list of suppliers and open day viewing made planning very easy and there was immense amount of support available for room preparations/change overs/and tidying up.

We feel very grateful that we were able to get married at such a beautiful location and had great support from Ben and Amy throughout, thank you Ben, Amy and all at Moat hall barns!

We got married at Moat Hall Barns on 6th September 2025 and the venue was, as always, absolutely stunning!

Amy was incredible from start to finish, communicating changes throughout the venue as they happened (we booked in 2023 and over the two years the venue had changed and developed a lot, including the building of the gorgeous bridal suite!)

We were lucky enough to be the first to stay in the accommodation on site including the bridal suite, which I know took a lot of work from Amy and Ben to get it ready in time so we were unbelievably grateful. The accommodation is absolutely incredible. Each of the three bedrooms had their own bathroom, and there was plenty of space in the kitchen/ living areas for all 7 of us getting ready the next day - as there is a beautiful dressing room area too that was perfect for our makeup artist to set up in for the morning!

Being on site for the morning of the wedding as a bride was an absolute dream, and I know my florist and various other vendors really appreciated me already being there as it just made the whole day me so much more seamless. I would 100% recommend booking the accommodation at the venue if you have the opportunity to do so!

Lastly, Amy, Ben and Mimi were so generous with their time and energy on the day, making sure all the vendors knew what they were doing and ensuring all the music was played at the right time etc. the coordination was so worth us getting to relax and not worry about timings or sorting anything out. Mimi even fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle and made cocktails when the bar was overran, she really couldn’t do enough for us, so thank you.

From both of us, we are so thankful to everyone at Moat Hall Barns for making our wedding day perfect, we wouldn’t change a thing! Absolutely recommend the venue to everyone and will continue to do so.

We had our wedding here just before Christmas and we were so delighted we chose Moat Hall Barns. Amy and Ben were so welcoming, and took time to really understand what we wanted and needed from our day. We had our ceremony in the Covered Yard which was just perfect for us and moved into the Top Barn for the reception. As a wheelchair user it was important for my husband to be able to move around the venue safely and this worked really well for us. All of our providers (catering, bar, venue styling, photographer, band etc) were also very impressed with Moat Hall Barns and with Amy and Ben. As far as we could tell, everything was seamless which was exactly what this bride and groom needed! The help in planning, setting up and clearing down the next day from Amy and Ben was phenomenal and we just wish we could get married again here every year!!

We got married at Moat Hall Barns this past September, and the entire experience was everything we dreamed of and more. Amy and Ben have created something really amazing, the venue itself is beautiful and has been put together with such care, making it one of the most amazing wedding venues in Shropshire.

The whole process with the Moat Hall team was seamless and enjoyable from our very first visit. When liaising with vendors, they all told us what a wonderful venue we had chosen.

Having the full weekend access was invaluable. We absolutely loved the Friday set-up, decorating alongside our friends and family, and even the Sunday decoration tidy up with headaches felt like part of the fun! This really is the venue for those that want to put a personal touch on their day.

Amy and Ben ensured our wedding day ran flawlessly, consistently working in the background to handle every small detail. I didn't have to worry about a thing all day, I knew it was being taken care of. Thank you so much!

We got engaged in 2023 and we started looking quite quickly for a 2025 venue. At this point Moat Hall Barns wasn’t completely finished, however as soon as we visited we knew it was the one and soon after, with no weddings having taken place yet, we secured our date. It was really important to us that we had an exclusive venue, and having the set up day the day before and time to pack up the following day was fantastic. Having the opportunity to choose our own caterers, bar and music was so important to us and this venue ticked every single box, as well as being absolutely gorgeous. Amy and Ben were so helpful the entire process and we loved visiting on the open days and for the Christmas party in 2023. We used the coordination service on the day and we can honestly say the day was seamless, if anything at any point went wrong we did not know about it! Any extra requests we had were met with the most amazing can do attitude and we really could not have asked for anything else. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how beautiful the venue was and how lovely and fabulous both Amy and Ben were on the day.

We really enjoyed watching the venue develop over the two years whilst we waited for our wedding, and we look forward to watching the venue grow even more, especially with the new accommodation. We wish them all the best for the future, it really is the most spectacular venue.

Ben and Amy were always very understanding and supportive throughout the planning process. They always have the couples best interest at heart. We went for the wedding coordination package which was a fantastic decision. Without Ben and Amy the day wouldn't have run as smoothly as it did. They helped ease nerves and reassure us throughout the process. My husband had had surgery not long before the wedding and became quite ill on the wedding day. Ben and Amy supported us wherever they could throughout this. So many people commented on how fantastic they both were!

The venue itself is utterly gorgeous and has so much charm. One of the best parts about this venue (other than the incredible owners) is how much you can really add your own stamp. I love seeing the variety of weddings that have taken place there and how each couple have made it their own.

We also loved how there were lots of different spaces, meaning we could have an outdoor games area and a boardgame area as well as the room for the wedding breakfast which later became the dance floor.

Could not recommend them enough! Thank you so much for such a magical day!

We spent a lot of time looking at venues online, knowing that we wanted a dry hire venue which turned out to be much more difficult to find than we thought! We came across Moat Hall Barns and instantly booked a viewing. It was actually the only venue we viewing in person – we only needed to visit once to know that it was perfect!

Amy and Ben were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We absolutely loved knowing that the venue truly was dry hire and that we could craft our day into exactly what we wanted it to be! We opted to pay for their wedding organiser package and we were blown away by the support and advice offered both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself to make sure that every element ran as smoothly as it did.

Everything was perfect and we honestly couldn't fault a thing.
We were able to hand over communications with our vendors to Amy and Ben which really took the stress off in the weeks leading up to the wedding. They were so accommodating and allowed us to have everything the way we wanted it - including a silent disco to end the night! Our guests have not stopped raving about how brilliant and well organised the venue was.
We also absolutely loved the glamping pod that we were able to stay in the night of the wedding – it was just so lovely to be able to stay at the venue.

Overall, we had the most perfect day and would recommend the venue to anyone!

What a fabulous venue! So many people have commented on how stunning this place is, and we did minimal decor!!!
Ben and Amy are both super professional, and super nice! Ben was our on the day coordinator and he went above and beyond for us! He turned a room around in no time, we didn't even know it was happening!

We had a meeting with Amy a few weeks before our day, and her knowledge of the industry was incredible, especially as Moat Hall is only just into its second year! Amy helped us with ideas, and really put our minds at ease (she even thought of a few things we hadn't!)

We are so grateful for all the help Ben and Amy have provided us. They have a beautiful venue that you have the freedom to style however you like. We went for the outdoor ceremony area. The weather thankfully held up and all our guests were commenting on how beautiful it was. We also opted for the on-the-day wedding coordination. Amy helped us with our timeline and this made things move more smoothly on our wedding day. I'm sure there was a lot going on behind the scenes to make it all work. We all had an amazing day.
