Meet the team
Abi, married her husband here at The Cattle Barn in Summer 2025 giving her a truly unique perspective. There is very little about the wedding or event planning process that Abi hasn’t experienced herself. She trained as a Personal Assistant for many years and has over 10 years experience in the Events Industry. Abi's first-hand understanding brings an extra layer of empathy, calm and practical support to the way we care for you and your guests.
Crumble is our newest member of The Cattle Barn family and her official duties include welcoming guests, supervising countryside walks, accepting tummy rubs and cuddles, and occasionally stealing the spotlight!
She is still learning the ropes, but she's already an expert in tail wags, muddy paws and making new friends, oh and digging up some of the plants here! If you spot her during your visit, you are most welcome to stop and say hello, she loves meeting future brides, grooms and their families!
Our family has lived and worked on this land for generations, and for more than twenty-five years we have welcomed guests onto our farm with a warm, personal, hands-on approach. We take genuine pride in helping couples create memory-rich, once-in-a-lifetime celebrations that feel relaxed, spacious and full of heart.
As time passed and the working barns evolved, so did a new vision - to transform part of the farm into a space where people can enjoy celebrations.
Today, Fred continues to work the land you see when you visit. From landscaping the grounds and mowing the meadows to carefully maintaining every corner. As for Vicki, she has shaped, managed and attentively overseen events here for decades. If you’re not chatting with her over email or meeting her on a show-around, you’ll likely find her planting the flower beds or in the kitchen preparing and making the food herself. Her care is woven into every detail.
