We got married in April 2026 at The Dodford Inn and honestly could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our special day. The space itself is beautiful — large enough for all of our guests whilst still feeling warm, personal and full of lovely homely touches. From the moment we arrived, everything felt relaxed and seamless thanks to the attentiveness of all the staff, who truly went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process.

A special mention has to go to Amber, who liaised with me throughout the planning and on the day itself — at this point she genuinely felt like a fourth bridesmaid! Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made sure every detail was perfect.

The suppliers were also incredible. Clare, who handled the décor, and Lee Dyson, our DJ, really listened to everything we wanted and completely exceeded our expectations. Every detail reflected us perfectly.

The food was absolutely incredible and served so efficiently, and every member of staff was accommodating to any request we had. Our guests have since reached out to thank us for such a special day, but so many of them specifically mentioned how fantastic the venue was — the layout, the space, the exclusiveness and overall atmosphere really stood out to everyone.

The rooms were excellent and the entire experience from start to finish was flawless. We honestly could not recommend The Dodford Inn highly enough for a wedding venue.

We have known of the Dodford Inn and the team there for a number of years now. We celebrated a big birthday there a few years ago and were so impressed that when we started looking for a wedding venue, we looked again at the Dodford as an option. It didn’t take long for is to decide it was the right venue for us. Ben and Becky (and the whole team) were simply fantastic from the very start. In the early stages they helped us understand whether the venue was right for us, giving us swift answers to many questions without ever being pushy. With a preference to talk things through in person, they were more than happy to meet us face to face to help with the planning and provided clear and pragmatic tools to support us. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and they really did take any stress or last minute flapping away by encouraging us to think about key decisions early. We wanted a wedding day where a lot of the traditions were stripped back so that we could enjoy the day informally as much as possible. The team at the Dodford Inn were more than happy to help us shape this but also offered help and guidance where they could using their vast experience of what generally works and what does not. The day we had could not have been any more perfect. Everything was taken care of and we, and our guests, were treated like royalty. Any guests with alergies or dietry requirements were cared for attentively and every last detail was seamlessly dealt with. Ben, Becky and team have the ability to manage events with an exceptional level of calmness and control. Events management is notoriously fraught with last minutes issues but the team’s meticulous planning appears to avoid any risk of this. If there were any issues, then we would never have known as the team operate with a serene and unrattled professionalism. The venue itself is of course stunning and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. Being hot air balloonists, we were keen to inflate a balloon at dusk. Despite being a very unusual request, Ben did not hesitate to allow us to do this which made our wedding day that bit more unique and bespoke to us. We cannot thank the whole team enough for helping us have the best day ever. Everyone on the team seems to have the same level of care and attention to detail that Becky and Ben showcase.

Me and my partner lewis had our first date at the Dodford so it will always have a special place in our heart and it was the prefect venue for us to get married.

From the moment we reached out to the Dodford for our initial wedding inquiry Ben and the team were amazing. I cannot thank them enough.

The venue is unique and offers perfect package options for the perfect wedding as well as beig able to tailor any personal requests.

The wedding portal and communication make the whole experience easy professional and take all the worries away as everything is managed and catered for.

Nothing was too much trouble and there communication was excellent.

There connections with other recommended wedding businesses is amazing. We used the I house DJ lee who made our evening special.
The decor and room turn around was seemless

The menu and food choices are great and the food is exceptional

The fully stocked bar allows every guest to have what they enjoy which is a bonus

Night buffet we chose hog roast with roast potatoes and sides which was delicious again the food is out of this world.

My sons wedding was held here over the weekend and what can I say. This venue was perfect, stunning and in absolutely beautiful surroundings. The food and drinks were fabulous and plentiful. The staff worked extremely hard to ensure our day, well weekend, went perfectly to plan, ensuring we were all having a fabulous time. Customer service was amazing. I can’t recommend the venue enough. I cannot recommend The Dodford highly enough. As a bride, I found the planning process quite stressful and wanted every detail to be perfect, yet nothing was ever too much trouble for Ben and Amber. They were incredibly accommodating and ensured all of my requests were met with care and professionalism.

On the day itself, their calm and reassuring presence immediately put me at ease. The service and hospitality were truly five-star, and I could not fault the team in any way. Everything ran seamlessly according to plan—if anything, we were ahead of schedule.

The food was exceptional, and the venue, including the bridal suite and guest rooms, is absolutely stunning. We genuinely wish we could relive the day again and again—it was truly the best day of our lives. If you are considering booking The Dodford, do not hesitate—you will not regret it.

We got married at The Dodford Inn on the 20th of February 2026 with approx 60 day guests and around 40 additional evening guests, and it was truly the best day ever.

From the very beginning, nothing was too much trouble. I had a clear vision and can be a little particular, but Ben and the team were incredible from the get-go - completely supportive and willing to work with me to bring everything to life exactly as I had imagined.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the décor by Clare’s Weddings elevated it even further. Every detail felt thoughtfully put together.

The staff and service were second to none. Everything was handled so seamlessly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the day without worrying about a thing.

And the food… I honestly don’t know if I can do it justice! The portion sizes, the flavours, and the flexibility of the menu were all 10/10 - our guests are still talking about it.

We had the most amazing wedding at The Dodford Inn, everything was perfect i had so many lovely comments from my guests about how lovely the food was and the staff where lovely especially Becky & Ben as soon as i arrived Ben was offering to help us with our bags up to the accommodation and Becky was offering us drinks while i was having my make up done nothing was to much trouble.
The venue looked beautiful and amazing views we are glad we choose the Dodford Inn its was the first placed we viewed and new it was the perfect place for us.

We really loved getting married at The Dodford Inn. Such a beautiful venue and setting, with a rustic, cosy and intimate feel, but with plenty of space for guests to relax and mingle.
We had Dee Acoustic play (who were at the Dodford Inn wedding fair) and there was a space for the band on the patio for them to play whilst guests relaxed.

Ben, Becky and the team were friendly, accommodating and made us feel well looked after on our wedding day. The running of the day flowed seamlessly from day to evening, thanks to the organised staff members and also the way the venue uses its different spaces for particular parts of the day. This worked really well to give a bit of variety throughout the day.
We liked the options of wedding day packages with meals, drinks and decorations included, which meant this was all set up for us on the day and took that worry away from us. Clare who organises the decorations provided beautiful floral displays that tied into our colour scheme. It was nice to be able to choose decorations to suit our style.

The food was delicious! And with myself, my husband and a few of our guests having a few differing dietary requirements, the kitchen couldn't have been more flexible with adapting our chosen set meals to suit our needs. We had many compliments on the food from guests too.

We really recommend this venue, it was so much more than we imagined with its lovely relaxed and uplifting atmosphere. Thank you Ben, Becky & team 😊

We had the most wonderful wedding at the The Dodford Inn, the venue, staff, food.. everything was really special. The packages really take a lot of stress off you having to organise the day and I knew the team would take care of everything. I wish I could do it all over again!

The first time we viewed the Dodford Inn, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The venue itself is set in beautiful countryside with lovely views. The venue has a country pub feel but has been renovated to a really high standard. Ben, Becky and the team were always so welcoming and on hand to answer any questions we had. Communication was always quick, informative and could not be faulted. We chose the Oak Package, meaning we had canapés, 3 course wedding breakfast + wine, reception & toast drinks, venue decorations and resident DJ included. It was great to have so much included in the price and made wedding planning really easy. Although this was a set package, we were still able to customise aspects and have exactly what we wanted. The resident DJ - Lee Dyson - was also amazing, as was the venue decoration supplier - Clare's Weddings.
I stayed at the venue the night before with my bridal party and then the night of the wedding with my husband, and the bedrooms were absolutely gorgeous. It was great to be able to get ready at the venue on the wedding morning. There was plenty of space to get ready in, including space for hair and makeup artists.
On the day, all the staff worked so hard and everything went incredibly smoothly. They would always check in with us to make sure we were okay, had enough food, drink etc. The food was delicious and we had compliments from guests all evening. Guests also loved the barman - he was fantastic and made cocktails from scratch all day long.
The Dodford Inn do not do back to back weddings which makes the experience feel a lot more personal. Ben & Becky always knew what was going on/what we had asked for, and it always felt like a very personalised experience. We had the best day of our lives, and The Dodford Inn will always be a very special place to us.

We got married at the Dodford Inn on Saturday 17th May 2025. We genuinely can’t find the words to describe how incredible this venue is and how amazing our special day was.

Choosing a venue is so hard, there are so many options but we had a good idea in our heads. When we walked in to the Dodford Inn, we knew immediately in our hearts that this was the perfect venue for us with a rustic feel! We met Becky and she was so lovely and explained all of the options to us. When she said they had a Saturday in May, Claire’s face lit up and the plans began.

The way in which their packages work makes life so much easier, so much was included, from reception drinks, canapés and wedding breakfast, decoration, evening food and even a great DJ. This really took the pressure off our planning and we had so much more time to work on the other smaller details.

We then met Ben, he sent us details for the portal and again this made life so much easier as we could just upload the details and send it over. Both Becky and Ben are so thoughtful, they helped come up with ideas and were really flexible with dining options and Ben even got us some Donkey wine where the proceeds go to the donkey sanctuary. We don’t believe we could have ever got this service anywhere else.

The day itself was perfect, the team were so attentive and we felt they were on hand at all times to help us out. The bridal prep room was so handy and was a lovely space to get ready. The room was set up exactly as we asked and the way they move the room round for the wedding breakfast and evening is seamless! To top this off, the bridal suite was incredible, like a luxury hotel!!

The food was out of this world, all guests commented how great it was, high quality and perfect portion sizes.

The venue just has everything, not too big that guests are on top of each other, but intimate to allow that romantic feel. The outdoor space is wonderful, a lovey patio and grounds that are perfect for outdoor shots.

We could not have dreamt of a venue that was so perfect and Becky, Ben and the team made our day magical from start to finish.

The best thing is, they are a restaurant on the weekends when weddings are not taking place so we can go back time and time again to experience their amazing venue and food!

They made our day everything we could have ever imagined and more. From start to finish we had an amazing experience with Ben and Beckie. Nothing was too much trouble. They helped us to create the day we wanted in the way we wanted. Guests said it was the nicest. Emir they had been to and the best food they had eaten. Everyone was so relaxed and had such an amazing day. Many said the best wedding they had been to because of the venue and what they did for us.
