The first time we viewed the Dodford Inn, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The venue itself is set in beautiful countryside with lovely views. The venue has a country pub feel but has been renovated to a really high standard. Ben, Becky and the team were always so welcoming and on hand to answer any questions we had. Communication was always quick, informative and could not be faulted. We chose the Oak Package, meaning we had canapés, 3 course wedding breakfast + wine, reception & toast drinks, venue decorations and resident DJ included. It was great to have so much included in the price and made wedding planning really easy. Although this was a set package, we were still able to customise aspects and have exactly what we wanted. The resident DJ - Lee Dyson - was also amazing, as was the venue decoration supplier - Clare's Weddings.
I stayed at the venue the night before with my bridal party and then the night of the wedding with my husband, and the bedrooms were absolutely gorgeous. It was great to be able to get ready at the venue on the wedding morning. There was plenty of space to get ready in, including space for hair and makeup artists.
On the day, all the staff worked so hard and everything went incredibly smoothly. They would always check in with us to make sure we were okay, had enough food, drink etc. The food was delicious and we had compliments from guests all evening. Guests also loved the barman - he was fantastic and made cocktails from scratch all day long.
The Dodford Inn do not do back to back weddings which makes the experience feel a lot more personal. Ben & Becky always knew what was going on/what we had asked for, and it always felt like a very personalised experience. We had the best day of our lives, and The Dodford Inn will always be a very special place to us.

We got married at the Dodford Inn on Saturday 17th May 2025. We genuinely can’t find the words to describe how incredible this venue is and how amazing our special day was.

Choosing a venue is so hard, there are so many options but we had a good idea in our heads. When we walked in to the Dodford Inn, we knew immediately in our hearts that this was the perfect venue for us with a rustic feel! We met Becky and she was so lovely and explained all of the options to us. When she said they had a Saturday in May, Claire’s face lit up and the plans began.

The way in which their packages work makes life so much easier, so much was included, from reception drinks, canapés and wedding breakfast, decoration, evening food and even a great DJ. This really took the pressure off our planning and we had so much more time to work on the other smaller details.

We then met Ben, he sent us details for the portal and again this made life so much easier as we could just upload the details and send it over. Both Becky and Ben are so thoughtful, they helped come up with ideas and were really flexible with dining options and Ben even got us some Donkey wine where the proceeds go to the donkey sanctuary. We don’t believe we could have ever got this service anywhere else.

The day itself was perfect, the team were so attentive and we felt they were on hand at all times to help us out. The bridal prep room was so handy and was a lovely space to get ready. The room was set up exactly as we asked and the way they move the room round for the wedding breakfast and evening is seamless! To top this off, the bridal suite was incredible, like a luxury hotel!!

The food was out of this world, all guests commented how great it was, high quality and perfect portion sizes.

The venue just has everything, not too big that guests are on top of each other, but intimate to allow that romantic feel. The outdoor space is wonderful, a lovey patio and grounds that are perfect for outdoor shots.

We could not have dreamt of a venue that was so perfect and Becky, Ben and the team made our day magical from start to finish.

The best thing is, they are a restaurant on the weekends when weddings are not taking place so we can go back time and time again to experience their amazing venue and food!

We got married at The Dodford Inn at the end of March and it was the most perfect day! Ben, Becky and the team at the Dodford are the most amazing group of people you will ever meet. They made our day everything we could have ever imagined and more. Nothing was ever too much for any of the team they really do go above and beyond and make you feel so welcome and go out their way to make sure everything is perfect. From start to finish we had an amazing experience with Ben and Beckie. Nothing was too much trouble. They helped us to create the day we wanted in the way we wanted. Guests said it was the nicest. Emir they had been to and the best food they had eaten. Everyone was so relaxed and had such an amazing day. Many said the best wedding they had been to because of the venue and what they did for us. We had our wedding at the Dodford Inn this month and wow the day was perfect! Ben and the team were great, they made everyone feel so welcomed and gave our day such a friendly vibe. They went above and beyond with everything we asked and we never felt anything was too big of an ask. The venue was beautifully styled and the warm fairy lights gave such a cosy atmosphere. We had so many compliments for this hidden gem and couldn’t recommend this venue enough.

Dodford Inn hosted our wedding in October and from beginning to end we had a fantastic experience. They were so accomodating of odd requests and incredibly flexible.
Our guests had the time of their lives due to the excellent food and well priced drinks. The organisation of the day went without a hitch and the coordinators were on hand should we need anything. He even noticed that my new husband and I hadn't eaten, fixed us two plates and suggested we take it to our room to have 15 mins together.
All the staff were incredible on the day and we are so grateful.
And a huge plus are the utterly gorgeous bridal suite and guest rooms!

We had an exceptional experience at The Dodford Inn, the venue exceeded all our expectations, from the beautiful decor to the impeccable service. The venue allowed us to fully personalise our day and supported us in doing so to make it incredible. Our guests were very impressed with the venue and the entire day went smoothly thanks to the professionalism of the staff. It truly made our day even more perfect.

The venue itself is stunning, set in beautiful grounds it is the perfect wedding venue.

We loved the pub as a pub, but now we love it even more as our perfect wedding venue.

We had our wedding in August of 2024 and The Dodford Inn was a wonderful wedding venue. They gave us very fair pricing based on quoted received before the updated plans and were happy to accommodate any requests.

The food was lovely and they went out of their way to cater to specific dietary requirements and even put together our self assembled wedding cake (it looked so good)!

I felt very taken care of as a bride and was regularly asked if I needed a drink or wanted food put aside. It was a rainy morning but luckily it stopped for my entrance through the doors and I was helped with my dress to enable the bridesmaids to make their entrances.

The new accommodation is also lovely and there is lots of space for the Bridal party to get ready ❤️

We had our wedding at the Dodford Inn on 9th August. To say this place is THE most awesome venue is an understatement. From the very start of our wedding planning process through to the end of our wedding day the team at the Dodford were outstanding. Ben and Becky are so attentive and caring and nothing is too much trouble. The venue for our ceremony looked beautiful. It was then transformed for our wedding breakfast and looked just amazing. The outside space is just phenomenal and to be able to have the entire venue for our exclusive use for the day just made it all so special. From the start of our day with bridal preparations in the suite of stunning rooms until the very end where we had guests staying in the bell tents everything was flawless. We had so much positive feedback from all of our guests on the food, the venue & staff. So much so we have friends that have booked The Dodford Inn for their wedding as they were so blown away by the place. Just the best day ever and this wouldn’t have been possible without Ben & Becky and their amazing venue & team. We have memories to cherish for a lifetime and The Dodford Inn really did make our wedding dreams come true.

Our daughter and son-in-law Marie and Richard got married on the 26th July 2024 and it was the most perfect day. We would like to thank the Dodford team Ben and Becky they made sure everything was going to plan and made sure everyone was looked after. Brill! Compliments to the chef the food was enjoyed by all. The staff never stopped service with a smile a real credit to the Dodford wedding venue. I would certainly recommend anybody getting married should look at this venue they have everything you could wish for and we had one fab day.

We got married at The Dodford Inn this year. I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue. The staff are absolutely amazing and they really made our day special. The food is outstanding and we will definitely be returning for special occasions.

After visiting many wedding venues, we stumbled upon the Dodford inn, a former pub in a quiet scenic location. Upon our first visit to the Dodford we we're sold, it is a beautiful venue which can cater for either small or larger events due to the acres of land surrounding the immaculate stunning facilities.

Everything from the planning to on the day couldn't of gone better for us. Ben and the team we're on hand for everything we needed or was worried about. They offered a wide range of options for our wedding breakfast, we we're spoilt for choice and they catered for all. The day itself was a magical experience from the ceremony up until midnight. The feedback from the guests was brilliant, the food, the decor and the effort made by the dodford did not go unnoticed. We recommend the dodford to all couples looking for a venue to tie the knot.
