We stumbled across this venue and thankfully we did. We couldn’t have asked for better. Everything we wanted which we struggled at other venues, they made possible. Nothing was too much. The staff are very hands on. The suppliers they use are all hands on from start to finish and they are very reasonable in cost which enabled us to do other things that we wanted. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

From the time I contacted Darrington until I left the wedding the experience was an absolute joy. Staff were helpful, courteous, couldn't do enough, and their suggestions and advice sorted out any issues without any hassle. From the day before the wedding when we turned up for the rehearsal etc staff supported, helped with nerves and everything we needed! The day was perfection itself, venue, food, entertainment all went well due to the calm but excellent facilitation of Emma and her team. Nothing was too much trouble. Not only this, but thanks to the astonishing location, the children were able to go on the driving range during the speeches - meaning every last person was entertained throughout the day. Superb place, myself and my husband couldn't of wished for a better experience!

I loved everything about this wedding venue. 1) the staff: the personnel is so professional and welcoming. My husband and I were assigned a wedding planner - Sophie - (FREE OF CHARGE!) and she was absolutely fantastic. She accommodated all of our requests, and even accommodated last minute changes seamlessly. She took care of all our vendors and coordinated every aspect smoothly! I was completely stress free on the day 2) the venue: this venue was just perfect. My husband and I travelled the whole of England trying to find the perfect venue and the moment we viewed this one we were lost for words. Everything about this venue gives luxury, classy and elegance. You can tell that a lot of hard maintenance work goes into keeping the venue spotless. We’re from London and all our guests were confused as to why we chose Bradford BUT the moment they arrived they were incredibly surprised and only had good things to say. We opted for the unlimited mocktails bar and everyone loved it - the drinks were of good quality. Quite a lot is included in the fixed venue fee of 10k. You don’t really have to even decorate the hall because as part of what you pay (the 10k) all the tables come dressed with linen, cutlery, centrepieces, table numbers, florals! This is insane ! All the other venues we went to see charged extra ££££ for this! And because the venue already looks luxurious you don’t have to do much, like for example the floor is made of a beautiful white marble so you don’t really need a dancing floor. The walls in the hall have already been painted and decorated by the venue itself to have a luxurious feel. For any other venue we saw we would have had to pay extra £££ to achieve this look. We did however choose to have additional florals, for the high table. Walton View works in partnership with Tayibsweddings and we got a very good price for the look we wanted to achieve for the high table and ceremony room. 3) the rooms on site: the honeymoon suite will make you feel like a queen. It’s absolutely stunning and luxurious. The rooms for the guests that stayed on site were also immaculate. Wow. Every aspect was just perfect! We took the train there and back and it was fairly straightforward from London. Walton View made our dream wedding become a reality! Thank you so much to the team at Walton!

Honestly so so pleased we chose to get married at Bert’s. Charlotte & Jason were there from our very first contact for any questions we had. They helped reassure us that we could make our day with them as personal to us as possible and we did just that. The barns are set up so well & I honestly think they speak for themselves. We went with a lot of the trusted suppliers and were so incredibly pleased with them all. We opted for the tractor travel to the photo spots in the wild flowers and this was such a fun part of the day. There were also sunflowers at our wedding in mid-August and we got some incredible photos there too, especially evening shots. They have the space available to hire pretty much anything you want, so we hired a rodeo bull as a surprise for the guests! We can’t thank Charlotte & Jason enough for their amazing space and all their support ❤️

We loved every minute of our time at Ponden Mill, every aspect of our wedding was perfect and made so by the fantastic and conscientious staff! Everything was above and beyond - including my sister being able to see the ceremony via video call (thank you Heather). It’s such a beautiful venue and our guests still talk about how amazing the food was! Ponden is definitely worth every penny, and everything always runs so seamlessly with Elkie, Heather, Danny and Jamie. If you’re looking for a scenic venue that is different from the norm, then Ponden is definitely the choice for you.

I have attended a couple of weddings now as a fellow vendor, and each time it has been an amazing experience for both the guests and other suppliers. Stephen and his staff are attentive and flexible, prioritising the best experience for couples and their guests.

From the minute we walked in to looking around the venue, to the in depth conversations before even booking was amazing. We decided to book after such an easy decision. Courtney & Becki (even though she was on maternity leave) were both there when we went to look around and just fantastic service and gave us so many options but in a good way not where you couldn't decide. They were in contact with us every step of the way and so accommodating to any changes we made and even came up with suggestions for our perfect day. The venue is just amazing and we couldn't have been happier how the whole day turned out. Nothing was too much trouble and the work they behind the scenes is fantastic. The food was top notch and we met the head chef Scott a few times to discuss and make sure we were happy with the options. The General Manager Pete invited us in for a taster menu and was so welcoming and he went out of his way like the rest of the team to make sure our day was perfect. To The Halfway team you were amazing and we couldn't have had a better day and that was down to your hard work and execution. Amazing place and venue and we highly recommend anyone looking for a venue, this is the place for you. Many Thanks Josh & Joanne
