We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and night at Manor House. From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible, and all of our guests fell in love with the venue just as much as we did. I genuinely don’t think the day could have gone any better, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making it so unforgettable. The staff were still nothing short of amazing with nothing been too much to ask!

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Every detail is so beautiful and thoughtfully done, creating the most perfect setting for a wedding. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so special and welcomed by every single member of staff.

The whole experience, from booking our special day with Jaine and receiving the most beautiful flowers as a thank you, to walking into our room on the night of the wedding to find a lovely card and an engraved bottle of champagne waiting for us, was just beyond anything we could have imagined!! It’s the little thoughtful touches and genuine care from the team that made the experience feel so magical.

A huge thank you to Amy, Manuel, Ruby, Jaine, and everyone else involved — you truly couldn’t do enough for us, and your attention to detail made the whole day run so smoothly - you guys are the dream team!

We knew this was the venue for us from the moment we first visited. It was absolutely stunning, the food was amazing, and every member of staff was so welcoming and attentive throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate and will cherish the memories forever.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our wedding 10 weeks before the event due to unforeseen circumstances. We attempted to discuss the situation and the overpayment with the hotel manager, Mark Ayre, but he refused to take our calls.

Instead, we received the following response:

“Where cancellation occurs within six months of the event, a charge of 50% of the estimated total booking value becomes payable. This estimated value is not limited solely to the minimum package price, but reflects the overall anticipated value of the booking, including additional elements such as guest accommodation, bar spend, and other services typically associated with a wedding event.”

We found this response completely unsympathetic and unreasonable. Despite the wedding not taking place, and the venue therefore saving significantly on staffing, food, wine, and other operational costs, they retained over £12,000 and refused to return an mere overpayment of only £1,000.

The whole experience felt unfair and very disappointing at an already difficult time.

Manor House Lindley is a unique venue. The venue is beautiful, the food is fantastic, but the best part are the staff. Gemma helped us to coordinate the day, meeting with us regularly in the 6 months leading up to the big day. She helped us plan absolutely everything, often giving us great ideas of how to handle certain quirky aspects! Over the weekend, Gemma, Manuel and the rest of the staff ensured that everything ran smoothly and seamlessly and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was worth every penny and more!

I cannot recommend them more highly. Book them. You will not be disappointed.

From the very first meeting with Jaine, we walked away and just new this was the venue for us. Every visit was just special and we felt like the only people there. We have been for food plenty of times and loved it each time. The day of the wedding went without a hitch and this is due to the amazing team they have there. We had so many compliments from our guests on the venue, food and staff which we couldn't be happier about. From the moment we began our search for the perfect wedding venue, we were drawn to The Manor House in Lindley. It offered the ideal balance—intimate and homely, yet spacious enough to accommodate our loved ones. The venue exudes warmth and elegance, with every corner beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed. The bar in particular is a wonder to behold!

Absolutely all of the staff, particularly Jaine and Gemma, were exceptional.

Having a group of people who worked together with such drive, passion, love, warmth, professionalism, and a shared end goal was truly rare. They were synergy personified.
If what they have as a team could be been bottled and sold, it would make millions!

Their attention to detail and truly genuine care made our day flawless. They anticipated our needs, coordinated with the florist, choir, band, cake lady, photo booth, photographer, videographer, garden games provider and evening singers seamlessly, and made us feel like we were their only couple, despite the many weddings they manage. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

The food and service was outstanding, the drinks flowed effortlessly, and the accommodations were luxurious. The gardens and the Coach House provided stunning backdrops for our celebration.


Returning for our first anniversary, we were really touched to find that the team remembered us and even left a thoughtful card. The Manor House has become our special place, and we look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries there…. (The food in the Lantern room is insanely good!)

Being locals to Manor House we have always loved the venue and enjoy spending many an afternoon or evening drinking or dining, therefore choosing them as our wedding venue could not have been more of a perfect choice. Frankie, Jaine and Manuel were incredible from the start, from communication, co-ordination, attention to detail and accommodating our requests to make our day so special. They were all so easy to talk to, friendly, funny and really made us feel so welcome and looked after. Many of our guests commented throughout the day on how wonderful all the staff were and what a fantastic venue it was. We really did have the most incredible weekend celebrating with friends and family and we couldn’t have wished for anything more. Thanks so Manor House.

Our wonderful wedding venue we just want to say the biggest thank you! We had our wedding at Manor House on 20 April and it was a day beyond our wildest dreams. Manor House really made our dreams come true. The level of attention to detail and how looked after we felt is more than just a day, it stemmed from us first booking with Jaine in July 2023, when we saw how stunning MH and the coach house is and knew it was perfect for us, and has been continuous ever since, the team were always there if we had a query and it's been a wonderful journey from start to finish.

Frankie was our wedding Coordinator and has been an absolute dream, she put so much thought and heart into our wedding planning and really helped us make everything personal to us. You can tell she cares about each couple she worked with and I just want to give her the biggest hug for looking after Luke and I so much and making our day perfect! We have so many people to thank you Frankie, Jaine, Manuel, Jodie, Aimee, Henry, Ruby and the lovely night porter Alex (sorry if I've got his name mixed up) to name just a few who made our day so seamless and special. From breakfast and a cocktail first thing in the morning to our last goodbye at the night to breakfast the next day - the team really put the hours in to make your vision come to life.

Nothing was too much trouble for the MH team, from catering to a fully nut free (I'm severely allergic) and vegan wedding to Manuel and the team coming up with these dreamy personalised cocktails for our day. The wedding breakfast food was so divine. One thing MH don't do is phone it in and while I originally thought I'd have to settle for a boring pasta and fruit salad combo, that wasn't the case at all. The dishes we had were all creative (caramelised shallot and pedro Ximenez tart for starter, apricot and chickpea tagine with sweet potato pave for main and chocolate and raspberry delice for dessert), mindblowingly delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests.

I can't recommend MH and the team highly enough. It's such a beautiful place and we had the most amazing day. We can't wait to return and stay again for our anniversaries. Thank you so so much ❤️

For us there was only one wedding venue we were going to choose that completely outdoes the rest, which is the Manor House in Lindley. We're lucky enough to live nearby and visit regularly. The Coach House is an absolutely perfect event space for a spectacular classy wedding and the decor throughout the entire venue from the grounds to the Cafe, Clock Tower Bar and bedrooms is uniquely tasteful (all of our guests commented on how amazing the venue is!).



On to the team, wow! First of all.....the wedding planners, Jaine and Gemma always greeted us with a smile and enthusiasm, making us feel like ours was the only wedding they were actually planning! No request was too much for them.....with absolutely everything we planned for on the day executed effortlessly and stress free on our part. Then, onto Manuel and Kai.....their dedication and personal touch on the day completely blew us away, both top guys! Manuel managed everyone brilliantly, from the groomsmen to the guests, and even prep-talking the slightly nervous young ones (and father of the bride) before walking down the aisle. He also created thee most amazing looking wedding cheese cake with no prior warning. Kai ran the bar in style with a cool calm approach to what was a large evening reception with a very busy bar, all night.



We would also like to thank the rest of the manor house team, including all the front of house staff and those in the kitchen. The food and service was exceptional throughout the day and evening, so many comments from our guests saying that it was genuinely the best food they have ever had at a wedding, perfect!



All in all, we literally could not have been happier with the Manor House as our chosen wedding venue, from start to finish it was our perfect day. We knew it was going to be fantastic but the team here exceeded our expectations and we can't thank you all enough. As ever, we will continue to visit the Manor House, we just wish we could do this all again.

Well what can we say, people are still talking about the wedding saying how stunning the venue was and the food! Oh the food was just incredible. We want to say a huge thank you to the Manor House Lindley wedding coordinator team, and a special thank you to Manuel (sorry I'm not very good at spelling names), nothing was too much to ask, he was superb.



Our day was everything anyone could possibly imagine, this was all down to your whole team at Manor house Lindley. My family didn't have to worry about any part of the day, it was seamless. It just went by too fast and we wish we could do it all over again!

Just wow! The Manor House has been special to us since before its heyday but from the moment we walked in to see the renovations we couldn’t imagine saying I do anywhere else!
The attention to detail is unmatched, the service is incredible with no job too big or small and always with a smile. Frankie, Jaine and the rest of the team have made us feel so special from day one and were always on hand to answer our questions or accommodate last minute changes. 
The way they work with suppliers also makes the day run seamlessly , our photographer and videographers were so excited about working in such a beautiful venue, our magician didn’t want to leave and our band had an absolute riot!
The food was just incredible with empty plates all round…we actually couldn’t wait for our wedding breakfast after enjoying the tasting so much and all of our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it.
We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding here and we are so grateful to Manor House Lindley for making it so special for us! We already can’t wait to return and stay in the beautiful suites once again.

Both you and Manuel made sure I was relaxed and happy on my wedding eve, taking any stress of dressing the room away from me, allowing me to chill out and get some much needed rest for the day ahead! The room was dressed perfectly and I couldn’t have wished for anything better. Throughout our day Manuel continued to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure the day ran as smoothly as possible.
