Rachel and Will make an outstanding team, and their dedication to making our wedding day perfect was evident from day one.

The advice they provided was invaluable, helping us to envision exactly what we wanted to capture. We had a lot of ideas and queries, and they handled each one with care and attention. Communication was nothing short of perfect, calm, supportive, and always prompt.

What truly set Woodstock apart was how they personalised every aspect of our experience. The packages were completely bespoke to us, allowing us to infuse our personality into every detail. My vision for the decor was elevated beyond my expectations, Rachel truly understood what I wanted to achieve and on the day, everything looked absolutely stunning. It was like stepping into a dream, so many people have commented on just how special the venue was and looked.

Thanks to Rachel and Will’s meticulous planning and attention to detail, our day ran smoothly. Any potential glitches went unnoticed, allowing us to fully enjoy our wedding without a worry. We truly had our dream day, and we can’t thank them enough for their time, effort, and professionalism. We had our pooch Eric there too who was welcomed with open arms and our 2 little boys had the best day running on the fields and playing the games that were set up for them.

Our day really was one we will never forget.
Rachel and Will really made the process so easy when it came to planning! Rachel was always on hand to give advice and really make the planning process as stress free as possible, she really is an expert.
Will really brought the fun into our planning ! Will his meticulous eye for detail and bringing all things fun at a wedding. They really make a perfect pair.
The venue really speaks for itself. The atmosphere, the surroundings and the perfect layout. From the intimate ceremony space, the drinks reception on the terrace listening to your favourite singer and the most stunning wedding breakfast set up you’ve ever seen.

Woodstock is everything you could wish for in a venue, nothing compares. The memories we hold of that day are priceless!

WOW!!!! From the moment we stepped into this venue we fell in love with it!!!

This really is the perfect venue! It’s in the heart of York but it makes you feel so exclusive!! The venue really does sell its self! It is so well maintained, a lovely barn, indoor out door feel! We got married here in October this year 2025 and we couldn’t have picked a better venue it really was perfect! We did a lot of DIY but it suited our look down to a tee. Rachel, Will and all the Woodstock staff are fantastic! Rachel and Will really made everything so easy and guided us through every step until our day finished. Our guests couldn’t have spoken anymore highly about how polite, helpful and fantastic all the staff were and how much of a brilliant job Rachel and Will had done of making it all run smoothly.

Rachel and Will are just brilliant (if I haven’t already mentioned) it does feel like you have your own guides, any advice or any help they are always so so approachable and so so helpful! The accommodation is beautiful, there is a get ready room aswell as some lovely rooms to stay in tooo!

This venue is a must see. It really will take your breath away!!! I wish we could relive our day every Saturday! It will forever be a special place!

If you’re looking for the perfect wedding venue, then congrats, you’ve found it! We had a beautiful wedding at Woodstock in July 2024 and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The main barn is beautiful and our guests loved the outdoor terrace and cocktail bar spaces, plus the water features gave us lots of options for photos. Our guests loved the onsite rooms (ideal for older relatives) and there was plenty of light, spacious areas for getting ready in the morning.

Janice, Daisy and team were brilliant throughout the process- always on hand and quick to answer questions or give advice, and a huge help on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. We had quite a detailed brief of all our decorations and personal touches that Janice & co. layed out exactly as requested, which really took the stress out of setup and allowed us to make the most of enjoying our day. They even made sure we had lovely sunny weather!!

The resident catering team (F4D) were also amazing throughout- very flexible with menu options and tastings, excellent at managing guests’ dietary requirements on the day, and not to mention delicious food served exactly as requested. Thank you!

Woodstock was the perfect setting for our fun, relaxed, alfresco wedding that gave us all the beauty of a destination wedding with the convenience of a local one. From start to finish, Woodstock were incredible. The venue itself is STUNNING and we just fell in love with it instantly. The styling is already perfect and you won’t need anything else for your day if you don’t want anything specific. Janice was fantastic from our very first meeting - she showed us around the venue and then talked through all the pricing structure and how it works. There was never any hidden costs or surprises. We booked it 18 months before the wedding and Janice kept in touch throughout and made us feel very special and as though we were the only couple who mattered. On the day, Janice and her team just took care of everything. Huge thank you to everyone at Woodstock for making our day so unforgettable and simply perfect.

I've finally come down from my Wedding at Woodstock, and all I can say is this venue is phenomenal. It's absolutely stunning, the perfect place to say I do.

We had the most perfect wedding day at Woodstock, it’s a 10/10 for us I would highly recommend to future couples. Janice and the team met our every need.

As soon as we viewed it ticked all our boxes, a cocktail bar, evergreen trees, a huge field, beautiful interiors and so much more. The accomdation was a huge hit and it was lovely to get ready on site in the purpose built room, my make up artist and hairdresser loved it.

Woodstock was only the second venue we viewed, having made 8 bookings straight after we got engaged in April 2023. After viewing Woodstock, we instantly knew it was the venue for us and we cancelled all our other appointments the next day. We had read lots of reviews about Woodstock and how wonderful Janice and the team there are and everyone could not have been more right! From the day we booked to the day we got married, communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We visited the venue a few times including for our engagement shoot with our photographer and we fell in love with it more every time we went there. We got married on 15th February 2024 and it was the day of our dreams. Janice and the team ran the day so perfectly and everyone commented on how stunning the place looked. There is so much included in the venue hire and the additional decor we provided was incorporated so beautifully. Woodstock was the perfect venue for our style of wedding and suited our personalities so well. Everything came together so beautifully and Janice and the team attended to the every need of us and our guests. All our vendors (most who had never been there before) were wowed by both the venue and the team and everyone could not speak highly enough about the incredibly high standards of service. We really don't have the words to express how delighted we are that we chose Woodstock for our special day and we cannot thank Janice and the team enough for everything they have done for us. Anyone looking for a stunning venue in Yorkshire with the best team around should absolutely choose Woodstock for their special day because it really is the perfect space with the perfect people. We wish we would do it all over again!

Janice and the team was fantastic from the word go, Janice made the wedding planning from Australia an absolute breeze and the day was perfect, from planning with timing, other contractors, logistics, and overall professionalism.

As for the Venue it is amazing ! The location is perfect, and you wouldn’t expect to be so close to the centre of York, with the natural views and setting.

The venue has a 4 luxurious rooms to stay in with large comfy beds and a mini bar stocked with goods for that “what just happened“ drink whilst you let it all sink in. Has two bridal rooms one larger than the other for larger parties, the rooms have been perfectly planned with plenty of mirrors, comfy chairs, and overall space to get ready. A tiki bar for cocktails, jackets and coat storage.

The barn itself is a work of art with huge tall ceilings, grand light fixtures, timber floor and walls throughout with a modern rustic feel.

Me and my wife was stunned by how beautiful our day was and would re live it 100 times over thank you Janice and the team for everything you did ❤️

Couldn’t recommend this beautiful venue enough, Kalle & I got married at Woodstock on the 2nd October and it was simply perfect!
