Woodstock offers a range of thoughtfully designed spaces to host every moment of your wedding day, all in one seamless location. Licensed for civil ceremonies, the venue allows you to exchange vows and celebrate with your loved ones without the need to travel elsewhere.
Say “I do” in the beautiful barn ceremony space, or choose the serene outdoor ceremony space, complete with a striking water feature, both surrounded by peaceful countryside views. Your celebration then continues in the beautifully restored former horse stud — now an elegant yet characterful venue that blends rustic charm with refined comfort. Accommodating between 50 and 270 guests, the space retains an intimate atmosphere while offering ample room for dining, dancing, and celebration. Throughout the venue, couples will enjoy the warmth of a barn-style setting enhanced with hotel-quality finishes and modern amenities.

Venue hire includes exclusive access to luxury, fully heated and air-conditioned facilities, including a mezzanine level overlooking the dance floor, a licensed bar serving draught beers and fine wines, and a stylish cocktail bar within the converted stables.
Couples can work closely with Woodstock's trusted catering partner, F4D Events, to curate a custom menu, whether you envision relaxed sharing plates or a refined formal dining experience.
The team also provides tables, chairs, linens, dance floor, ambient lighting, interior and exterior décor, and set and co-ordination — ensuring every detail is thoughtfully taken care of, so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your day.

An Amazing, Beautiful Venue, your perfect choice!
We are beyond excited to share how incredible our experience was at Woodstock Weddings and Events! From the very beginning, the whole process was incredibly easy and straightforward. Rachel and Will make an outstanding team, and their dedication to making our wedding day perfect was evident from day one.
The advice they provided was invaluable, helping us to envision exactly what we wanted to capture. We had a lot of ideas and queries, and they handled each one with care and attention. Communication was nothing short of perfect, calm, supportive, and always prompt.
What truly set Woodstock apart was how they personalised every aspect of our experience. The packages were completely bespoke to us, allowing us to infuse our personality into every detail. My vision for the decor was elevated beyond my expectations, Rachel truly understood what I wanted to achieve and on the day, everything looked absolutely stunning. It was like stepping into a dream, so many people have commented on just how special the venue was and looked.
Thanks to Rachel and Will’s meticulous planning and attention to detail, our day ran smoothly. Any potential glitches went unnoticed, allowing us to fully enjoy our wedding without a worry. We truly had our dream day, and we can’t thank them enough for their time, effort, and professionalism. We had our pooch Eric there too who was welcomed with open arms and our 2 little boys had the best day running on the fields and playing the games that were set up for them.

Just Perfect
Rachel and Will really made the process so easy when it came to planning! Rachel was always on hand to give advice and really make the planning process as stress free as possible, she really is an expert.
Will really brought the fun into our planning ! Will his meticulous eye for detail and bringing all things fun at a wedding. They really make a perfect pair.
The venue really speaks for itself. The atmosphere, the surroundings and the perfect layout. From the intimate ceremony space, the drinks reception on the terrace listening to your favourite singer and the most stunning wedding breakfast set up you’ve ever seen.
Woodstock is everything you could wish for in a venue, nothing compares. The memories we hold of that day are priceless!
Pictures do not do this place justice, our guests were in awe. Thank you for doing everything in your power to make our day perfect, it really was.

Unreal - All of it!!!
This really is the perfect venue! It’s in the heart of York but it makes you feel so exclusive!! The venue really does sell its self! It is so well maintained, a lovely barn, indoor out door feel! We got married here in October this year 2025 and we couldn’t have picked a better venue it really was perfect! We did a lot of DIY but it suited our look down to a tee. Rachel, Will and all the Woodstock staff are fantastic! Rachel and Will really made everything so easy and guided us through every step until our day finished. Our guests couldn’t have spoken anymore highly about how polite, helpful and fantastic all the staff were and how much of a brilliant job Rachel and Will had done of making it all run smoothly.
Rachel and Will are just brilliant (if I haven’t already mentioned) it does feel like you have your own guides, any advice or any help they are always so so approachable and so so helpful! The accommodation is beautiful, there is a get ready room aswell as some lovely rooms to stay in tooo!
This venue is a must see. It really will take your breath away!!! I wish we could relive our day every Saturday! It will forever be a special place!

The perfect day
As soon as we viewed it ticked all our boxes, a cocktail bar, evergreen trees, a huge field, beautiful interiors and so much more. The accomdation was a huge hit and it was lovely to get ready on site in the purpose built room, my make up artist and hairdresser loved it.

As the event co-ordinator at Woodstock, I have the pleasure of guiding couples through one of the most meaningful moments of their lives, helping bring their vision to life with care, creativity, and calm reassurance.
I work closely with each couple from our first meeting through to the final moments of the celebration, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed. I believe the most memorable weddings feel relaxed, personal, and effortlessly elegant — where everything flows naturally and couples can fully enjoy every moment.
My role is to be a trusted point of support throughout the planning journey. From refining ideas and recommending trusted suppliers to managing the day itself behind the scenes, I’m here to remove stress and allow you to focus on celebrating with the people you love most.
As a husband-and-wife team, Will and I work closely together to make sure that your wedding day feels seamless, joyful and truly unforgettable.
Hello! My name is Will, and I’m the co-owner and Bar Manager at Woodstock Weddings and Events.
As a Geordie, I know what a good party looks like! I take great pride in creating a welcoming, relaxed bar experience that adds to the atmosphere of your wedding day.
With a strong background in hospitality and a passion for great service, I work closely with couples to ensure the drinks offering reflects their style and vision. Whether that means a carefully curated wine selection, classic cocktails, or something a little more personal, I love helping couples create a celebration that feels thoughtful and memorable.
On the day itself, my focus is on smooth service and attention to detail. I lead an experienced team who understand the importance of timing, presentation, and warm, friendly service, ensuring guests are looked after from the first toast to the last dance.
