A picturesque, historic hotel in a perfect location in West Yorkshire nestled in the Spenbourgh valley and set within stunning landscaped gardens and grounds. The 250 year old grade II listed former mansion house has been with the same family for over 40 years, and is a cherished and beloved hotel and wedding venue. Healds Hall is a perfect mix of the traditional with a modern twist and boasts some wonderful and quirky features.
Facilities
We only host one wedding a day, so you can enjoy the luxurious interior and wonderful gardens, with your family and friends. Whether you choose to have your ceremony here in our Harrington Suite, or just your wedding breakfast and evening celebration after a service elsewhere, your dedicated wedding coordinator will be on hand all day to guide you.
We have the capacilty to host up to 120 for a ceremony and sit down meal, and 180 for an informal meal or evening party. And with 24 tastefully decorated bedrooms, including our bridal suite, you and your guests can enjoy a relaxing stay.

Our head chef Andrew and his brigade have been a part of our Family here for over 20 years. Food is their passion, and they take great pride and satisfaction from the meals they produce, cooking with only the freshest seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Exquisite and inspiring, your wedding breakfast is guaranteed to be a talking point amongst your guests, and is complimented by friendly and professional service.

Perfect day
Our day could not have gone any smoother.
Shirley dressed our room to exactly how we wanted it, very elegant. Our requests were listened to and nothing was too much. Stunning room thank you x.
Matt...Where do we start, you were amazing on our day, people ask us if we were stressed on our wedding day and the answer is always no. That is because you took care of everything and whatever we asked, you delivered. Communication up until the day was just enough, always kept us updated.
The food on the day was delicious, that dark chocolate brownie 😍.
Beautiful rooms and very decent sizes. To all the staff at Healds Hall, thank you, you helped make it a day we never want to forget x

A wedding to remember
I absolutely loved our wedding at Healds Hall, and Matt and the term were fantastic. Every small detail was checked and any question we had was answered. They are a class act.

Our Wedding was Perfect!
We recently got married on 1st of August 2025!
From the first initial drive into the venue, we immediately got a feel like this could be our venue!
We visited during a wedding fayre and was shown around the whole venue which just blew us away. The gardens are very private and the layout is spot on. The whole team at Healds Hall are just superb. Matt, who is the wedding coordinator is such a great host and I cannot sing his praises enough. Always on hand to answer anything we required and even help out with the little things we requested like having a singer outside during our drinks reception and placing a beer pong table in the garden for guests to enjoy!
We had just shy of 80 day guests in the Harrington suite and Upto 150 for the night do and it was the perfect size, the table layout was great and the room was perfect for our meal and speeches then the live band in the evening. We picked all our own decorations which looked amazing and they were all included in the package which we thought was brilliant.
All day long we just kept getting compliments from our guests saying how good the food was and how great the flow of the day has been. We got married in August so the party flowed out into the garden outside and it was great.
We also had a lot of our guests stay over and we pretty much booked out the whole hotel for the night of our wedding which was excellent and guests were able to have breakfast with us the morning after which made for a nice touch.
Words cannot do justice to say how happy and pleased we are to have had our wedding at Healds Hall, it was the most perfect day and I wish we could do it all over again! Thank you so so much from the new Mr & Mrs Taylor!

Fantasy wedding dream come true!
We had our wonderful wedding day at Healds hall on 18th October. Start to finish it was so well managed and Matt and the team were absolutely fantastic! We had an amazing day, the food, atmosphere, staff, rooms and thoughtful touches were everywhere. We felt super well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Matt had so many great idea for photos and extra special touches we hadn’t thought of that just elevated the entire vision. They really went over and above. The venue looked beautiful and we can’t wait to get our photos back. It was a day we will never forget and a big part of that was the magical welcome and support we got from Matt and the team! Book here - you won’t regret it!! Massive thanks to everyone involved x

The best wedding day we could have wished for!
We married at Healds Hall on 27.9.2025 and it was the most perfect day.
From the moment we viewed the venue and met their amazing Events Coordinator Matthew in early 2024 we knew this is where we would marry.
Fast forward to the day of our wedding and Matthew and the team certainly did not disappoint. All staff were amazing but a special shout out to Matthew and Bobby who really are huge assets to Healds Hall.
Matthew's attention to detail is exceptional and he was so attentive towards us and our guests.
Matthew went above and beyond turning up unannounced at the place where I was getting ready on our wedding morning with a bottle of fizz for me and my bridal party and this just shows how truly thoughtful he is.
The food was incredible and our guests commented on how hot it was when served.
The whole venue was spotlessly clean and well decorated, staff couldn't do enough for us; all so friendly and helpful.
We would recommend anyone planning a wedding to consider Healds Hall.
There is not one thing we would have changed about our day.

Our "Perfect" Wedding Day
We were married at Healds Hall on Saturday 6th September 2025 and we had the most PERFECT day. I cannot praise or thank Matt and the team at Healds enough to express how amazing our day was. From the initial meeting with Matt in August 2024, it was so very clear to see how passionate he is about making your day about YOU and absolutely nothing is too much trouble.
Matt and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, from initially setting up for our ceremony indoors to then realising our dream of having an outdoor ceremony and moving everything into the beautifully landscaped garden as the weather was perfect.
Everything about Healds Hall is 5* and we would have no hesitation in recommending the venue to all our family and friends. The most memorable day!
I recently got married here on the 26th of April, from start to finish Matt and the team were so welcoming and friendly. The reason we booked our wedding here was because of the warm welcome we received when we viewed the venue. The wedding packages made wedding planning so much easier. The food was insane, the decorations were lovely, the bar staff worked very hard and Matt was amazing at organising the whole day and taking care of us. We had the most dreamy and memorable day thanks to Healds Hall.

The Most Incredible Wedding Venue!
I got married here Easter bank holiday and all I can say is WOW. The venue, the service, the day was absolutely incredible from start to finish.
Most importantly the person who made this day incredible was Matt. He will go absolutely above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect, there are plenty or reviews on here praising Matt and they really are so true.
Another name to mention is Shirley who does all the decorating, she made the image come to life and I can’t believe how incredible she made the venue look.
I can honestly say we have gained 2 new friends from this whole process, I would choose Matt, Shirley & Healds Hall as my wedding venue in every lifetime and I am so grateful we got to meet them.

Amazing venue

UK wedding Vows
We recently got married abroad and wanted to have a UK venue for all our family and friends.
We went to look at the Healds Hall as a possibility but as soon as we entered the building we knew it was the venue we wanted.
Mathew was great from start to finish, was very flexible.
The day was perfect, all the staff were amazing and could not do enough for us.

The Perfect Day
Healds Hall really was the perfect place for our wedding and it didn’t disappoint. From our very first meeting Matt and the team did everything they could do help and make the day be as perfect as it was.
The team did everything they could throughout the day to help and took away all pressures, making sure we were happy with everything before the guests entered each room. Thanks so much to Shirley who made our vision come to life! The food was amazing and all of the guests were so happy with the food on offer – beef dinner was perfect! The turnaround between the breakfast and evening was extremely smooth ready for the evening party to start!

I’ve been part of the team for over 10 years and feel incredibly proud to help couples plan and celebrate one of the most important days of their lives.
I’ve worked on everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale weddings and I always bring a calm, friendly approach.I love what I do and nothing beats seeing it all come together perfectly.
