This truly enchanting wedding venue dating back to 1700, is set within 20 acres of stunning gardens and grounds in the beautiful Went Valley. Facilities and Capacities
You can host your ceremony and reception in one of Wentbridge House's superbly decorated event rooms. Each space is furnished in delicate complementary tones with elegant features, including hand-painted wallpaper and crystal chandeliers. Their rooms are also well equipped with a Bose® sound system and air conditioning for your entertainment and comfort. The Crystal Suite, with its large windows and luxurious feel, can accommodate up to 130 guests for a wedding ceremony and seated wedding breakfast. This space can also accommodate up to 180 evening guests. The Tudor Room has a capacity for 24 seated attendees, offering luxurious space for intimate weddings. The Leatham Suite is another exquisite option for smaller weddings, with a maximum capacity of 45 guests. If you require a religious service, Wentbridge Church is just a five-minute walk away, after which you can join the team at Wentbridge House for a decadent drinks reception.

The staff truly provide a 5-star experience. They were professional, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Many of our guests even went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the staff were on the day. As a same-sex couple, one of the biggest reasons we chose Wentbridge was because we were treated with complete warmth and equality from the very start. We always felt valued, respected, and celebrated, never “different”, and that meant the world to us.
The food was another major highlight. There were plenty of options and the team were so flexible in tailoring everything to what we wanted. We chose afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast, and it went down brilliantly with our guests, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. A real luxury touch!
Wentbridge is a perfect all rounder wedding venue. With family travelling from all over, having plenty of rooms on-site was ideal, and the variety of spaces throughout the hotel created a natural, enjoyable flow to the day. We were able to make the most of both the indoor and outdoor areas, giving us the best of both worlds.
A special thank you to Chloe, Ellie, and Karen, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their support made the whole experience feel seamless.
Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more, and Wentbridge House played a huge part in that. We’re so grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a truly exceptional place to celebrate their big day.

We booked our wedding here and it was the most perfect choice! From viewing the venue, to choosing the venue, to all the appointments to ensure everything little detail was covered, to the actual day; it was MAGICAL. Our wedding planner Nicola Guest was so thorough and super helpful and made sure everything we’d imagined became reality. On the day, Karen was also so amazing, making sure any nerves and jitters were settled asap and made sure the day flowed wonderfully. This venue truly holds a special place in our hearts now. Especially seen as our lil boy (dog) could be a part of it too! Thankyou to everyone!

Wentbridge House Wedding
Not all rooms in the old original building have air conditioning so some of our guests were extremely hot in certain rooms. The bridal suites in the old part do not have air conditioning either so we had 3 fans in the room.
Overall we would recommend this beautiful venue for a wedding ❤️
