A Space to Make Your Own
With room for up to 180 standing and up to 100 seated guests, The Chapter Hall is a blank canvas, ready to be shaped into the wedding you’ve always imagined. Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony or a full-blown party, this space is as flexible as it is stunning. The venue also features live music facilities, so you can hire your favourite entertainment to help you dance the night away. During your day, you'll find many timeless wedding photo opportunities with exposed brick walls, industrial-chic fixtures, and rooms that come to life with natural light and dramatic shadows. As a pet-friendly venue, all your nearest and dearest can come together for a truly unforgettable occasion.

All the cool kids get married here! (and us)
From start to finish, we felt completely supported by the team, who genuinely care about making your wedding as special and stress-free as possible.
From the moment we met Liz, the event coordinator, we both felt completely at ease. There is an awful lot to think about when planning a wedding, so having someone you can always rely on makes such a huge difference. Liz was brilliant at answering all of our questions (no matter how silly!), listening to all of our ideas and, best of all, often coming up with solutions to problems before we’d even thought of them.
The staff on the day were equally fantastic and made setting up incredibly easy. Everyone was friendly, helpful and clearly wanted us to have the best possible day.
Being a brewery, you also get the opportunity to have a drinks tasting before the wedding, which is a great chance to try a few options. We particularly loved how passionate Nadine was about finding the right beer, wine, fizz and non-alcoholic options for the day.
If you’re reading this review, you may have already visited Chapter Hall, but if you haven’t, take it from us, it’s a truly beautiful and unique wedding venue. The space is the perfect size: big enough for all your guests to eat, drink and celebrate, but still feels intimate and full of atmosphere when the party gets going in the evening.
It's really special getting married somewhere you often frequent, and can come back to relive the day. Also, Northern Monk is just very cool!
The team are also brilliant at recommending local suppliers for food, music and everything else you might need. They have some great contacts, and we’d definitely recommend taking a look at their suggestions.
We also took the opportunity to book the venue for the day before our wedding so we could do our own set-up. We’d highly recommend this if your budget allows, as it gave us plenty of time to get everything exactly how we wanted it. One little tip: don’t forget to decorate the stairs on the way up to Chapter Hall! We put up loads of photos of us as a couple, which looked great and made the entrance feel really personal.
Overall, we genuinely couldn’t fault Chapter Hall. The venue is fantastic, but it’s the people who really make it. If you’re considering getting married here, we honestly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

From the moment we stepped into The Chapter Hall a year and a half ago, we instantly fell in love. The building itself is bursting charm and the coolest vibes, but also the warmth that comes from the team and how much they genuinely love what where they work. We met Liz at a wedding fair, and similarly fell instantly in love with her and her infectious, sunshine self. She was there with a supportive answer for every question throughout the whole process, and couldn’t have done more for us on the lead up to the wedding, including giving us the BEST supplier recommendations. On our actual wedding day, Liz and the team at The Chapter Hall were invaluable and made our wedding the more joyous day of our lives. Even more of a bonus is she’s a beast on the dance floor too!!! They worked tirelessly(on a scorcher of a day), keeping us all hydrated to make it the best day possible and all of our guests couldn’t say enough amazing things about them. From the bottom of our hearts we can’t thank Liz and everyone at The Chaptet Hall enough, we LOVE YOU!! xxxxx

Welcome to The Chapter Hall Wedding Fair!
Our wedding fairs are always some of our favourite days of the year. Whether it's chatting to folk right at the beginning of their engagement journeys or seeing couples we know and love who have already booked us as a venue and are looking for some wedding planning inspiration, we'll have the space beautifully dressed to give you a true taste of what weddings are like here at our venue in the heart of Leeds. We'll have lots of suppliers ready to chat to you about what makes your day the most you it can be!
We'll be running a quiet hour from 11am-12pm. This will mean quieter music, dimmer lights and vendors will wait for you to make the first move.
Please note that due to the listed nature of our building, we do not have a lift and we are located on the second floor.

With a background in events and gigs - and a genuine passion for creating welcoming, unique spaces - I work closely with couples to deliver seamless, personal and inspiring occasions.
From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, I’m dedicated to making every detail feel authentic, fun, and stress-free. Think of me as your partner in bringing your vision to life — with a relaxed, friendly approach that reflects the warm, welcoming spirit of Northern Monk.
