We visited the Waterton wedding fair this year as we always loved the setting and was greeted by Pauline, as we wanted to get married quite soon Pauline was amazing and went through all the current packages and dates. We managed to get a Saturday which was 16 weeks away at the time and Pauline and the team were amazing at putting everything together for us in quite a short space of time. Nothing was too much to ask, Pauline and Olivia were always on hand and the staff when we visited were always welcoming and helped us with room reservations for family members. On the day, it was truly perfect. When we arrived from church, we were welcomed so warmly from everyone, Pauline even helped when I needed an urgent ladies visit before going to greet our guests. The day ran to perfection, the timings were amazing, guests spoke so highly of the organisation and I couldn’t recommend them enough. The food was delicious and guests still now are talking about the canapés, the entertainment we had booked were all warmly welcomed and looked after and it really was the best day ever. Thank you to everyone at Waterton, but special thanks to Pauline and also to Mark who was the manager in the evening and again made sure it all ran great. We really made the best decision having our wedding day at Waterton.

Where do I start… we booked with Waterton back in 2017 with a view to marry aug 2020 obviously as many others we were affected by covid delays but finally got our big day in June 2022. Throughout the whole experience although at times Waterton we’re on skeleton staffing due to covid they responded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner and provided us with the reassurance they could but didn’t give us false hope which was very important during the whole process. Waterton park at all times we’re open and honest with their responses and always as helpful as they could be. We ended up having to postpone the wedding twice finally getting our happy ever after on the third date this year.
Waterton park we’re able to keep our agreed prices matched to the 2021 prices but we did have to pay small added cost of inflation for the venue.
The communication through was clear and we we’re always update and the team kept in touch as the date became closer the amazing wedding co-ordinaries Pauline and Amy ensure the event ran as smoothly as possible and there wasn’t a hitch in sight. It’s quite clear how well skilled the staff are at dealing with the weddings and how organised the day was but also with a relaxed fun feel. There’s wasn’t anything that you couldn’t ask the staff for they would always try their upmost to help.
We only had one grumpy staff member after the evening reception had finished, as I agree we did get roudy at times having fun and chats with a few of our guest before we went to bed. We were told to be quiet quite rudely as we were disturbing guests, but the guest that we’re staying on the island building there were our own and the groom of the next days wedding who was sat with us. However we do appreciate that the staff do have to respect guests privacy and noise levels and appreciate that, it would have just been nice to be asked in a better manner.
The venue was in a great condition and didn’t disappoint the grounds were pristine and gardens were well looked after. Our guests were blown away with the venues beauty. Our guest were happy with all their rooms and the ones we had booked for our wedding party were all correct. The bags from our room the games keepers cottage were moved as request to the correct room and all members of our bridal/grooms party had a smooth check in process.
We had room service on the morning of the wedding and from the start to the finish of the day the food didn’t disappoint.
The detail and decorations instructions I gave to the staff were followed too a T and I couldn’t fault anything even though I did bombard a poor manager with 5 years worth of wedding plans in the space of 5 mins he got everything perfect with the help of his team and we are forever greatful.
The Waterton team were very welcoming to the external services we had booked which were a wedding singer and a sax player for the evening- the in house dj was amazing and the dance floor atmosphere was kept alive all night long everyone had such a great time.

From the bottom of our hearts Thankyou for such a wonderful day/night we will be visiting again very soon and look forward to spending many anniversary’s to come at this beautiful venue.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Walton Hall on the 4th June 2022.

Everything went perfectly and it was all down to the wonderful staff.

Our wedding organiser, Pauline, was a real star. She kept us in the loop all the way through, making everything stress free for us. Thank you so much.

We would also like to mention reservation staff, reception and the wedding breakfast staff, who all helped things run as smoothly as they did. We didn’t have any problem at all on the day. Thank you, all.

We would recommend anyone to get married at Walton Hall, because of the service we got from them, but also, because of the beautiful location.

On 11/02/2018 we had our wedding at this hotel, from our first meeting with the wedding planner to the finest details on our day the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make sure our day was a success. Pauline the wedding planner was very good keeping us informed though out the day. The food was excellent and was hot when it was brought to us. the professionalism too when everything was done is a credit to the hotel. our day was made extra special and i would fully recommend this venue for your wedding.. We attended my Cousins Wedding and would like to say what a beautiful setting for a wedding the whole place and the hotel was beautiful and all the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly the food at the Wedding breakfast again was very tasty and well presented and the staff all pleasant and polite would definitely recommend the hotel and the hall to my friends and family we had a really lovely time.

The breathtaking views and beautiful mansion house make this a truly special venue to suit all. The packages offered suited most budgets and were easy to choose from. Good advice and help was offered from their Wedding Co Ordinator to ensure the reception went without hitches. An ideal venue for fantastic wedding pictures to really make it a day to remember. A variety of choice for table settings and plenty of space for the evening to let the relatives who do not appreciate a disco relax. Flowers and table decorations were provided and were to a high standard adding more value for money. All in all the standard of facilities / food / drinks and service were all 5 star.
