Set within stunning grounds of the historic Walton Hall lies Waterton Park Hotel, a beautiful Georgian mansion that is home to rolling parkland. Sitting on its own island, it is surrounded by a 26 acre lake, and can only be reached by an attractive iron bridge.
Previously being home to an eccentric 19th century traveller and naturalist named Charles Waterton, he transformed the lake and surrounding parkland into the world’s first wild fowl reserve and sanctuary. Many of the species of wildlife still breed in the area today. After being carefully restored to near its full glory, this amazing setting makes our hotel the perfect venue for your special day.
Whether you’re looking to plan a grand soiree for your reception, or a more intimate dinner party, our dedicated team will work with you to make sure that you create the wedding day you have always dreamed of. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, which will also give you the opportunity to hold your entire day in one location.
When it comes to a wedding celebration, fine food is one of the most important ingredients. Wherever possible, we source our fresh ingredients from local suppliers to offer you a wide variety of menu options created by our chefs. To complement your menu we offer a specially selected wine list featuring lots of wines from around the world. Our reception rooms can accommodate between 8 and 140 people for a day reception, and up to 200 guests for an evening reception.

Waterton Park Hotel's reply:
Good Morning Mr & Mrs Parker,Sarah Lewis
A truly perfect venue for the perfect day
The breathtaking views and beautiful mansion house make this a truly special venue to suit all. The packages offered suited most budgets and were easy to choose from. Good advice and help was offered from their Wedding Co Ordinator to ensure the reception went without hitches. An ideal venue for fantastic wedding pictures to really make it a day to remember. A variety of choice for table settings and plenty of space for the evening to let the relatives who do not appreciate a disco relax. Flowers and table decorations were provided and were to a high standard adding more value for money. All in all the standard of facilities / food / drinks and service were all 5 star.
