Crab Manor Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding, providing everything one could need. Luxurious accommodation on site for the guests, a quirky sense of style, scenic grounds and unbeatable food, all headed up by our conscientious wedding planner Abigail.

Abigail ensured that all of the minutiae of our day was considered and that everything ran smoothly. She ensured that me and my new wife weren't overwhelmed, that we had time to soak the day and that we never had to worry about anything. She worked tirelessly on the day and was so helpful in helping us consider elements we may have forgotten.

The venue was perfect for us - the staff attentive, responsive and friendly. Able to accommodate 40+ guests with personalized rooms, hot tubs and comfy beds, it made the day before and after the wedding perfect. The food served was of exceptional quality and commented on by almost everyone we invited.

I think it's rare to find a venue that can do it all, but I really can't recommend this one enough. Full of quirky character and able to both accommodate traditional or relaxed weddings, it really can do it all.

I’ve thought long and hard on how to sum up our wedding at the Crab & Lobster, it was quite simply the best day ever!
From start to finish we could not have asked any more of the staff, this began long before the big day when correspondence with the Wedding Coordinator & team commenced. Not only were they not phased by my element of control - lists / diagram drawing etc. they nailed the brief when we went off plan and added in some personalised extras.
The day itself was amazing, it ran like clockwork under their exceptional management skills and nothing was too much trouble. We had exclusivity on the big day and had taken over the majority of the rooms from the afternoon before, but as soon as we landed hospitality was impeccable through until departure almost 48hrs later.
I wish we could do it over and over! For anyone contemplating whether this venue is an option for their big day I would say do it, without hesitation, from me it is unequivocally a YES every time and I hope in future return visits I get to see people enjoying their weddings as much as we did ours. (Although I am an advocate for the exclusivity option to avoid nosey strangers like me 🤣)
The memories for all of us, guests included will last a lifetime, the aspect, the inside / outside gardens and dining areas, the allowance of our dog being able to share in the whole day was invaluable, we’re now just so sorry it’s over already.
There will be many more trips to this fabulous venue over time for us, as there were before we booked our wedding and we are so pleased to give it the special place in our hearts it deserves.

We were looking for a small, intimate wedding venue, and we absolutely found it at The Crab Manor Hotel. We fell in love with the hotel’s unique charm as soon as we first arrived. It is quirky, full of character, and definitely not your typical, run-of-the-mill venue.

Although the hotel can accommodate larger weddings, it’s equally perfect for smaller wedding's without ever feeling lost. For us, it allowed the relaxed, intimate celebration we had hoped for and, importantly, our dog was able to be part of our special day. (She absolutely loved it, and the staff made such a fuss of her - she was in her element!)

Our wedding coordinator, Abigail, was fantastic. (We don't think that we fully appreciated just how amazing she was until the day itself). She was always ten steps ahead, had every detail under control, and handled any little hiccups quickly and calmly. We honestly cannot thank her enough.

The entire staff team was outstanding. From the gardeners to front-of-house, every single person we encountered was friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome.

The hotel is set in stunning grounds, with lot's of photo opportunities in a picturesque setting. While photos can show you the beauty of the place, they can not capture warmth, service, and atmosphere, for us, those are what truly set The Crab Manor apart.

We had hoped our wedding day would be perfect, and it truly was. A huge part of that is down to how wonderfully we were treated and how well everything was organised.

As for the cost, the wedding package was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of service and setting. The food was absolutely delicious. We were given lots of flexibility to build a bespoke wedding breakfast menu, and the evening BBQ was just as enjoyable. We had so many compliments from our guests on both the food and drinks.

Our only regret is not discovering The Crab Manor Hotel sooner. In every way, the venue, the food, the people - it all exceeded our expectations. A beautiful place for an unforgettable day.

My wife and I wanted a small intimate wedding with close family and friends so we chose The Crab & Lobster as when we first started dating we spent a weekend there and fell in love with it's quaintness. We had the most incredible experience at this venue. From start to finish, the staff were amazing, so friendly, helpful, and professional. A special mention to Abigail, our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and just how we imagined. The bar staff and the entire team were fantastic and really added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
