From meeting Lydia and first visit to Bert's/ The Black Horse Inn we knew this was the venue for us and what we were hoping to achieve for our day. Lydia and the whole team/family delivered our day exceeding our expectations! Nothing was too much trouble, Lydia was quick to respond to any queries and throughout kept say it's your day no pressure to stray away from what we were looking for. When we said we didn't want a traditional wedding cake, Lydia sourced exactly what we were looking for with a show stopper of a pork pie and cheese tiered "cake" looked and tasted amazing! Krystle, the celebrant, set the day and vibe with a ceremony which was brilliant and so personal to us. We had a Twilight ceremony package plus DJ and rooms. The food was great with plenty of choices from canapes, buffet plus special dietary requirements catered for. The DJ kept us all dancing to the end of what was a perfect day! We stayed in the Bridal Suite which was gorgeous, other family and guests all were happy with their rooms and a hearty breakfast the following morning helped ease a few sore heads. In all a perfect day, our way and would highly recommend. The different packages available to suit different budgets and styles from formal, intimate to Twilight help to tailor your day. Thank you!!
