Where do we start? We booked our wedding day over two years in advance but boy did those years fly by!

I found the fleece here on hitched scouting out venues. We love a rural vibe so we decided we would make a day of it, we contacted Carrie and team to book a viewing. After she gave us a tour, talked us through what our day could look like, the package types - we slept on it for one night and booked it the day after. You need to see the fleece to fall in love with it! The views, the cosy vibes, gorgeous food and lovely staff make it.

From initial booking, Carrie and the wonderful coordination team made the plans running up to our day a breeze. We were simply told what was needed, everything was so well thought out.

The food was incredible and everyone looooved the food!

There are so many great things about this venue, I wish I could list them all. If you’re thinking about going to a fleece open day or to go view it with your fiance, definitely do. The package costs vary, however you won’t regret a penny spent - we don’t! It was so worth it to have everyone we love in one room, well fed and watered - with plenty of seating areas and space for dancing!

Lastly - the staff are so wonderful. The lovely coordinator who moved the screen to help me get my aisle timing right, Carrie and the coordination team - a million thank you’s. The lovely card from you all was so kind.

The venue is just so amazing. Its cosy and has so many hidden spots for the couple photos. The food is amazing and every guest was complimenting it afterwards. The views are insane and make the best photos. I can't recommend this venue enough. What really makes it special though is the team - Carrie-Ann is there every step opf the way and on the day the staff were amazing and were able to help with any last minute questions!

Our Wedding Venue 😍
When we got engaged, we started looking at different venues and open days and although the Fleece didn’t have an open day when we started looking, Carrie-Anne was quick to reply and offer to show us round privately.
From the moment we arrived, we felt like this could be our wedding venue. The surroundings and the views alone are stunning!
After meeting Carrie-Anne and seeing the venue, we went home and could not stop thinking about it. We had viewed other venues as well but none gave us the same feeling. Once we booked our wedding, it was so easy for us. The team at the Fleece provide an excellent wedding package that by no means is the same for everyone though! They were able to accommodate wishes that we had and even helped us to make the day more personalised and special. Every time we had any questions, we were able to contact the team and got responses quickly. We asked for an additional meeting and that also was not a problem. Because of the team at the Fleece, the whole planning process felt pretty stress-free.
On the day, the team couldn’t have done a better job! From giving us time checks beforehand, to last minute setting up some music for our entrance after the ceremony nothing was too much trouble. Everyone had a smile on their face and was so helpful and kind. The food was incredibly and all our guests commented how beautiful the venue was and how polite and great the staff were! To any engaged couples out there, we could not recommend the Fleece Countryside Inn enough! What a beautiful setting, amazing food and the most caring staff!
Being able to stay at the venue that night with our family was a bonus, knowing there was no journey after the wedding and enjoying breakfast all together as newly weds was beautiful. We wish we could do it all over again!

What an amazing venue! We looked at so many and had to wait for an appointment to view this venue, however we knew this venue was the one for us! Carrie-Anne and her team were just amazing from start to end and nothing was ever too much trouble! We had the best day and were very much grateful for everything that Carrie-Anne and her team did for us, they went above and beyond to make us feel at ease every second of the day!

The fleece from start to finish 12 months may I add was amazing meetings phonecalls even video calls when we couldn't attened meetings because of our disbled child amazing but then the day well let me tell you every member of staff did the fleece proud from helping my partner chris to helping me surprise him with a voice message from our non verbal child, my husband had no clue at all! Staff was smiley chatting away the food was amazing (beef dinner) had so many compliments, nothing we asked was to much even down to having dry lips from all the nerves someone handed us lip balm!!, the night do well hats off to our dj! He was the best around and listened to everyone asking for songs for hours got involved in the party!, staff on the evening was amazing with our daughters, when it came to the clean up the staff helped massively and they didnt have to!

We had our wedding here at the start of October and we could not have picked a better venue. The ivy outside had turned the most gorgeous red, all the guests commented how stunning the views were, and the rooms looked fantastic!

All the staff were friendly and professional, and Carrie-Anne was always on hand during the planning process and made sure everything was thought of!

The guests that stayed over all loved their hotel rooms, and breakfast was freshly cooked the next morning.

If we could do it over again, I’d choose the fleece. And we can’t wait to return for our anniversary!

We live local to the fleece and so we knew it was a beautiful place. To be honest, when we decided to get married locally, we didn't bother looking anywhere else - we knew it had to be here! Amazing venue, food was incredible, staff very friendly and helpful. The wedding areas are all private too - your own bar area, your own function room which is used for the ceremony too and also your own exclusive terrace overlooking the amazing views! Would highly recommend. Thank you to everyone at The Fleece!

The Fleece is an absolutely wonderful venue and we're thrilled that we could spend our wedding day there. The team were incredibly friendly, attentive and organised and made the entire wedding day run so smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful, both inside and out and it was amazing to have the dramatic countryside views throughout the day. The space is so versatile and we were really impressed with how seamlessly the team were able to transform the room from wedding ceremony, to wedding breakfast to dancefloor. The honeymoon room was wonderful and a great way to end the night, with a really thoughtful card and present from The Fleece waiting for us. Carrie-Anne and the team have been so helpful from the moment we booked and we felt so at ease that everything was being handled for us. The food was also delicious and all of our guests loved it too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Fleece for a moment, thank you so much!

We fell in love with The Fleece the first time we went to an open day - it was the venue that we just could not get out of our heads (so much so we booked it before we even took our parents to see it!)
Carrie-Anne was so helpful in the entire planning process and the new portal was incredibly informative in helping us along the way.
Our wedding day itself was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The team were exceptionally organised and welcoming, no task was too much of an ask for them.

We had a wonderful wedding at The Fleece Inn. The staff were so professional and worked like a well-oiled machine. The food was outstanding, the views were beautiful, and the rooms were lovely too. Incredible service, amazing food, perfectly picturesque and they made our big day a seamless exercise.

Incidentally, every single time we went for a meeting we’d go early so we had an excuse to get dinner there too. Worth the trip for the food alone, and such good value for the quality. I don’t think our wedding is the last time we’ll be heading there!

We had our wedding here on Good Friday this year, and from start to finish everything was amazing. Upon booking, Carrie & her team were very informative and stayed in contact all the way up to the wedding! Nothing was ever too much of an ask and any questions where answered straight away! The whole day ran so smooth and I can’t thank them enough, the venue itself is stunning with the best views! You’d truly have the most magical wedding here 💛

We fell in love with the venue the first time we came and we made our minds up there and then it was the perfect place for our big day. From that moment Carrie-Anne and the team were faultless, keeping in regular contact and really making the whole process totally stress free.
We absolutely loved seeing all of our guests enjoying the day as much as we did and have had endless amounts of compliments about The Fleece since. Everything from the staff, the setting, views and the food (particularly the sticky toffee pudding) were fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for more.
We really did have the most amazing day and can’t thank you all of the staff enough for ensuring the day went as well as it did.

From the first meeting until the last, the team at The Fleece made planning a wedding as easy as it possibly can be.
Carrie-Anne and her team were quick to respond to any emails sent and were very accommodating to any and all requests and ideas I had.
As for on the day coordination - wow! It was a dream, they were so attentive without being in your face. Everything to ran to time and the service was impeccable.
The food was wonderful, and our guests still cannot stop talking about it.
The Fleece provided a wonderful venue for us to celebrate our love with all our close family and friends and our day was everything we imagined it would be and more and that is a lot to do with the team at The Fleece.
