We had one year to plan our wedding. With the help of Lydia our coordinator, everything was made possible. Lydia went above and beyond. She was quick to respond to messages and open to all our ideas. When it came to the day, everything ran smoothly. All the staff were fantastic, the food was amazing and it was everything we could have wished for. If we could do it again, we would, exactly the same. Would highly recommend, not only the venue, but everyone behind the scenes making the day possible. All our guests that stayed the night, loved their rooms, the bridal suite was amazing and can’t wait to visit again as husband and wife. For anyone looking for that intimate and fun vibe, we would highly recommend

We got married at Wentbridge in August, and we honestly couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were struck not only by the beauty of the country house itself, with its charming character and stunning gardens, but also by the exceptional service delivered by every member of the team. The staff truly provide a 5-star experience. They were professional, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Many of our guests even went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the staff were on the day. As a same-sex couple, one of the biggest reasons we chose Wentbridge was because we were treated with complete warmth and equality from the very start. We always felt valued, respected, and celebrated, never “different”, and that meant the world to us. The food was another major highlight. There were plenty of options and the team were so flexible in tailoring everything to what we wanted. We chose afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast, and it went down brilliantly with our guests, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. A real luxury touch! Wentbridge is a perfect all rounder wedding venue. With family travelling from all over, having plenty of rooms on-site was ideal, and the variety of spaces throughout the hotel created a natural, enjoyable flow to the day. We were able to make the most of both the indoor and outdoor areas, giving us the best of both worlds. A special thank you to Chloe, Ellie, and Karen, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their support made the whole experience feel seamless. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more, and Wentbridge House played a huge part in that. We’re so grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a truly exceptional place to celebrate their big day.

Fabulous Victorian hotel close to likely moor. Wedding breakfast was best large scale meal ever - excellent! Hotel is lovely and friendly. Rooms are constantly being updated and should be done soon from what we hear, but still very good rooms anyway. They did us proud hosting our wedding.

We had the absolute best day of our lives at the vineyard. We organised this whilst living down South and having only visited the venue twice before the wedding. Holly was incredible at sorting everything out, communication was great and they ensured evrththing went well on the day. Many of our guests had never being to Yorkshire before and commented how incredible the venue was. We had a range of needs from guests which were all catered for. Couldn't recommend enough!

Weetwood Hall was perfect for what we were looking for. We went with the Tawny Owl package for our wedding and it was spot on. The fact that we had unique, dedicated rooms for the Ceremony, Wedding breakfast and evening reception was amazing and made it feel even more special. The planning and organisation was on-point with the team being very flexible and adapting well to some of the unforeseen situations that through timings off. They made everything work and flow so smoothly (Shout out to Jason!). The food and drink were amazing for both the wedding breakfast and the evening reception, and the bedroom for us as newly-weds was stunning! If we could do it all again at Weetwood, we would. 100% recommend!

We had the best wedding day we could have imagined! The food was amazing, everything ran seamlessly to time, and the service was spot on from start to finish - all surrounded by so much love and laughter. Tyran, our wedding manager, was quick to respond and full of helpful ideas, an absolute wedding expert. He was flexible on meeting times as well which was extremely helpful for us and work schedules. Mackenzie, the operations manager, kept the day flowing with such grace and humour, always there when needed but never intrusive, he felt like part of the family by the end of the night. Big thanks also to Ed and Sarah behind the bar, who brought so much fun and energy, and to the housekeeping team who went above and beyond moving the bridal party’s chaos from our prep lodge into the honeymoon suite so it was all ready for us. The venue itself is perfect for a more intimate wedding - nestled in beautiful woodland with speckled light, reflections across the lake, and just seconds from the breathtaking Yorkshire views of Surprise Point. The photo opportunities are endless, and the setting feels both magical and personal. We’re so glad we chose local, not only for the wonderful service but also so we can come back and relive the memories. The complimentary spa access for wedding couples the month before the day was an amazing bonus, giving us time to relax together in the run-up which can be a pretty stressful time. We cannot recommend the Chevin Hotel and Spa enough - they didn’t just host our day, they were part of what made it so special. Thank you and lots of love The Reeses 🧡

The best day from start to finish. Karen and the team, made our day special from start to finnish. Booking the wedding was easy and they couldnt do enough for us it was the best day of our lives.I cant imagine not getting married at rogerthorpe the food was amazing, the venue was pefect and the day went so fast, we wish we could do it all again. The singing waiters as a suprise from our inlaws was the highlight of the day aswell as the diamond photo booth. 5 stars to rogerthorpe manor?! 🍾🍷🍸❤️💯

We had the best experience with Britannia hotel bramhope. We got the most amazing compliments back from the food & the service. I could believe there was 100 people at my day meal and there wasn’t 1 complaint from anyone. We decorated the venue ourselves and was always asked if we needed any help and Becky and her team was always there to help. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who looks to book a wedding in the future. Thank you to Becky & James for all the help on the day. Becky definitely went above and beyond to please us. We got married at Crowne Plaza Leeds on the 17th of October 2025, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. We looked at a few venues before booking, but as soon as we walked into the Crowne Plaza, we knew it was the one. The stunning staircase as you enter, the beautiful ceiling light in the ceremony room, and the spacious room upstairs for our wedding breakfast and reception completely took our breath away. Harriet was amazing throughout the planning process — so knowledgeable, organised, and always happy to help with our endless questions. On the day itself, everything went exactly to plan thanks to the brilliant wedding organiser. She kept us calm and on time, even bringing me a glass of water just before I walked down the aisle (which I definitely needed!). She made sure everything ran smoothly, from start to finish. I had packed everything in boxes for each table — runners, centrepieces, name places, favours, etc. — with photos showing how I wanted them set up. The team followed this perfectly. Walking into the room and seeing it look exactly how I’d imagined was such a special moment. The evening reception was just as incredible. The DJ did a fantastic job, worked seamlessly with the Saxophonist we’d hired, and kept the dance floor full all night. We danced until the very end and loved every minute. Thank you, Crowne Plaza Leeds, for helping us have one of the best days of our lives. We honestly wish we could do it all over again! 💕 — Emma & Jimmy
