We were looking for a special venue for our wedding March 2008 and were recommended Swinfen Hall Hotel, after visiting and meeting we booked Our wedding was just perfect, an absolutely stunning location. The staff could not have done more to make our day so special. The food, flowers,wedding breakfast etc were of the highest standard and quality as was the bridal suite and other rooms. Suffice it to say we have returned many times since for weekend stays and gourmet evenings etc We would unreservedly recommend the hotel and staff for anyone wanting somewhere truly special and unique to get married

stunning venue, excellent staff
We had our wedding reception here in 2008. We took exclusive use and had the whole beautiful venue to ourselves.The food was excellent, the staff could not of been more helpful and helped us to have a truely unique and perfect day.Breakfast with all our family in the ball room the following mornig was the icing on the cake.perfect venue.

Excellent Staff and Service
We hired the hotel exclusively which gave us privacy for the whole weekend. The wedding planner goes through your plans with you but I asked for things to be tailored to my ideas which were never a problem for the staff at Swinfen and everything I asked for was done with precision. For the whole day I felt as if everything was in safe hands which allowed me to enjoy my day and not worry about a thing.

The perfect wedding venue
Swinfen Hall was the perfect wedding venue. The team helped us plan the whole day which relieved so much stress in the months up to the wedding. Everything went to plan and we couldn''t have wished for more. The reception and the evening party were both perfect. The food was stunning and the service second to none - I just wish I''d had more to eat myself! It was a very special day for us and our families. My Grandad was 90 and he wasn''t able to walk at the time - the staff helped him and made his day so so special as well. This was the icing on the cake for me!

The hotel is awesome. Very grand and impressive and the staff are excellent - the right mix of friendly and professional.

An elegante hall with first class facilities and helpful staff
Swinfen hall was built in 1755 and still retains it's splendor. The ballroom is a lovely venue for your evening reception, it has a stage area for a band or disco and a large dance floor. The hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies which take place in the attractive oval room. The staff are very friendly, we received a very warm welcome.
