Walcot Hall was the first and only place me and my husband looked at for a wedding venue. From our first visit we were in love with the place. The house and grounds are simply stunning.
We booked the house for the whole weekend so we could have the space and time to get relax the night before, get ready on the morning and then have breakfast with some of our guests the morning after. It was one of the best decisions we made!
Holly you were outstanding as our coordinator. She had everything under control and organised. From our first meeting she left us with no doubt that everything would be looked after, and it was! Holly took the stress out of the run up to the wedding and the day itself. We had originally wanted an outdoor wedding and unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, but Holly had that covered. By the time it got to the ceremony we didn’t even notice the weather.
Julie you are so talented! Julie prepared the buffet for our evening guests and it was amazing. So delicious and tasty. One of our guests was particularly fond of the tuna sandwiches. Julie also prepared the breakfast on the morning after the wedding and it was faultless. There was plenty of food for everyone and she went out of her way to make scrambled eggs for a couple of people.
Skye, thank you so much for keeping the bar running. You were so calm and patient even when it got a little busy. You were chatty with all of the guests and so many people commented on how lovely you were. Thank you again for thinking of the glass of wine while I was getting ready, I needed it and it helped immensely.
Cindy, I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for our wedding. You went above and beyond, nothing was too much for you. You made sure everyone had everything they needed and made sure everything ran smoothly for the whole weekend. You were so lovely with all of the guests and a few of them came away saying “I think me and Cindy are best friends now”. We couldn’t have asked for a better host and choosing your venue was the best decision we made. I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else and getting the outstanding level of customer service you and your staff provided. As the owner of Walcot Hall you should be extremely proud of each and every one of your staff and the business you are running. We honestly can’t thank you enough.

An Absolutely Fantastic Wedding Weekend

My sister had her wedding at Walcot Hall and what an absolutely fantastic weekend it was!

Cindy and the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Everything went so smoothly and they really couldn't have done more for us. The weather definitely wasn't on our side and the rain meant we had to spend most of the day indoors, but honestly, it didn't matter. Everyone still had an amazing time, there was loads of fun, games, laughter and just a genuinely brilliant atmosphere all day.

The food was amazing, and a special mention has to go to the bar staff, who were absolutely brilliant. They were so friendly, welcoming and good fun throughout the whole day and evening, even when things got busy. They were a huge part of the atmosphere and genuinely helped make an already brilliant day even better.

The whole team were fantastic and everything just seemed to happen effortlessly in the background while we got to enjoy ourselves. It really felt like we were being looked after the entire time.

Then, after a very long and very fun wedding day, we came down the next morning to an absolutely amazing breakfast too!

It was such a special weekend with great people in a beautiful place, and I can't thank Cindy and everyone at Walcot Hall enough for helping make my sister's wedding so memorable.

We had a beautiful day. The staff at Walcot Hall are amazing. They will hell with anything you need. Holly makes you feel relaxed and will help with anything you need on your wedding morning. She will even check on your dad as well to make sure hes not to stressed. Juile does the caterinv at The Walcot, she did an amazing job with the food. Juile also did my decorations for me with how it all should look. I gave Holly and Juile my vision and they brought it to life even better then i could have. The bar staff were lovely and well mannered. They was very helpful with holding mine drink for a picture ans even after walking down the isle a drink was ready for me with a straw. The rooms was cleans and gorgeous.

I have to say a huge "thank you" to Cindy, and her team, at Walcot Hall for making my daughter's wedding such an unforgettable event.

The venue itself is superb, especially if you're after traditional comfort in a beautiful country setting. We were very lucky with the weather, considering how unpredictable it has been in March 2026, so the ceremony took place in the Enchanted Forest, which completely lived up to its name.

The reception was held in the hall’s spacious marquee and we made good use of the dancefloor later on.

As the father of the bride, I was footing the bill, but it was worth every penny. The accommodation was warm and spacious and breakfast on the day after the wedding was all the more delicious for being able to share it with family and friends in the relaxed atmosphere of a real country house.

Once again, a massive “thank you” to Cindy and Walcot Hall Estate for making it such a special weekend.

Nothing was too much trouble, and her calm, reassuring presence meant we could fully relax and enjoy every moment.

Walcott Hall is a truly special place run by people who care deeply about what they do. We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding and will treasure the memories forever. Choosing Walcot Hall Estate for our wedding day was the best decision we could have made. It was everything we dreamed of and more. The setting is breathtaking – the perfect balance of elegance and charm - the Georgian Hall and beautiful landscaped formal gardens provided a magical backdrop for our memories and photos. Cindy and her amazing team of staff were so welcoming, supportive, and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right and everything ran seamlessly. Their professionalism gave us so much peace of mind and their kindness made both us and our guests feel so looked after. We can’t imagine a more perfect place to have said ‘I do’ and celebrate with all our loved ones. Now, we just want to go back and do it all over again, and again.

From the moment we looked around the venue, I fell in love with Walcot! Cindy and the staff were so welcoming and professional and we felt looked after from the very beginning. Our wedding co-ordinator Julie listened to our every need and delivered with exceptional results.

My Son and daughter in Law were married 17th May 25. the old house is beautiful with stunning bedrooms and luxury bedding.
the grounds were in full bloom and the sun shone brightly making the day just perfect. the large marquee is fabulous especially the dance floor area. Heating and Toilets do carry an additional charge so just watch out for that. Julie the wedding planner was on hand all day and did a fantastic job. few rules to follow regarding where and when you can enjoy a drink but all in all the day ran like clockwork. Cindy the owner, what a character, was warm and welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. stables round the back are a nice edition. our party also hired the Yurt and lodge, both are wonderful separate accommodations with hot tubs which did get used.
all in all our day was perfect.

Walcot hall is the most amazing venue for a wedding! My sister got married here in August and I was maid of honour, Walcot is perfect for all the bridesmaids to get ready together, so many photo opportunities around the house and the grounds. The bridal suite was magical us all getting ready together! Cindy was very helpful and efficient if we needed anything at all. The perfect wedding venue !

From the very first meeting to the ‘collect the bits left behind’ the day after the wedding, visit, nothing was too much trouble. A treasure trove of people, venue and all round experience.

With the help of the Walcot Team we planned our Wedding in just over 6 months. They helped us every step of the way to make sure our beautiful dream of getting married outside in their enchanted garden came true. My self and some of our family stayed the night before and more of us stayed on the evening of our wedding day. They helped with everything! We had neurodiverse children and people with mobility issues and all were catered for in such a compassionate, proactive, thoughtful manner. The whole team came more like family and we will be forever grateful for their support love and guidance throughout. Our day was truly magical. Would highly recommend!!
