Walcot Hall is a Grade II listed Georgian Hall built in 1726, and from being welcomed by the wrought iron gates and transported along the sweeping gravel driveway (which makes for a great photo opportunity!); to arriving to revel in the splendour of the Hall itself; every inch of the Estate oozes luxury, romance, and grandeur.

Once arrived, a secret passageway tempts you through into the tranquillity of the fountain garden, resplendent in lavender and bush roses. With greenery and flora as far as the eye can see, you are guaranteed to feel as though you have been conveyed back through time to an era in which the hustle and bustle of the technology-driven modern world melt away.

Facilities and Capacity

Ceremonies at Walcot Hall can be held in several breathtaking outdoor locations, including our popular Enchanted Forest and Secret Garden venues, which can be stunningly decorated to meet your exact specifications.

Expecting cooler weather or looking for an indoor location? Our stunning 18th-century room, with Viennese crystal chandeliers and tall windows overlooking the grounds, is perfect for indoor ceremonies. After tying the knot, you and your guests can make your way to the beautiful fountain terrace gardens for champagne and canapes before moving on to your drinks reception, framed by the tranquillity of the fountain and five acres of formal gardens.

Wedding breakfasts can take place inside the Hall or outside on the grounds in the marquee, which can accommodate as many as 400 people. If you choose the marquee, a candlelit path and a bridge illuminated by fairy lights will ensure that the whole experience is an unforgettable one from start to finish.

Once inside our marquee, you are free to dance the night away, making the most of our exquisite black-and-white chequered dance floor and basking under the reflected glow of our starry-night canopy.

Starting with a private viewing appointment; which will offer you the chance to get a guided tour of the estate and spend time talking about your dream day; all the way through to the very last minute of your stay with us, we will endeavour to make every moment the most beautiful experience you could ever imagine.

Comprehensive rental packages come with tableware, linens, chairs, sashes, and bar and wine service.

Accommodation is available on-site in form of 7 luxuriously-appointed bedrooms within the Hall itself, as well as in our incredible Apple blossom Yurt and Snowdrop Lodge, which each have their own bathroom and kitchen facilities, as well as private hot tubs. If you are wishing to book accommodation for you or your guests, we are happy to provide details of how this can be booked during your viewing appointment, as this is separate to the wedding side of our bookings.
