We had our wedding at Oddfellows in October.
Absolutely amazing day, would highly recommend as a venue!

We booked the venue a year and a half prior to the wedding day, and communication throughout the planning process was smooth and reassuring. The staff on the day of the wedding were absolutely amazing, so attentive and sorting out issues before it even came to our attention. A massive thank you to Hannah and Tracey.

Lots of options for food for canapés, main menu and evening food. Guests had a lot of compliments for the food on the day. Also I mentioned loving one of the canapés off hand but didn’t manage to eat many whilst walking around during the drinks reception but the staff arranged for a plate to be on our sweetheart table for dinner, very much appreciated that.

The galloping major was a beautiful room to get married in and exactly what we pictured.

Could not recommend Oddfellows enough for anyone’s wedding day!

Oddfellows on the Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. We chose to have an intimate celebration with 15 day guests and 15 evening guests, and from start to finish every detail and request was thoughtfully and carefully catered for.

Hannah was an exceptional wedding planner — professional, attentive and genuinely invested in making our day special. Nothing was too much trouble, and her calm, organised approach made the entire experience stress-free.

Our children were made to feel truly special throughout the day, which meant so much to us and added an extra layer of warmth to the celebration.

The hotel and its grounds are absolutely stunning, and we have some beautiful photographs.

The head chef was super friendly and is clearly extremely talented - our wedding breakfast was exquisite.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team. Thank you to everyone at Oddfellows on the Park for creating such a memorable and magical day for our family.

A really beautiful venue and really thoughtful staff. Leading up to the day, we were constantly getting in touch to ask advice about various bits and they were so responsive and helpful. They will take care of everything for you, which really made the planning a lot less stressful and made us feel confident we were in good hands. We have had a lot of guests complement us on the wedding breakfast - some of the best wedding food most of them have had!

We also had a guest change their mind a week before the wedding about the food they wanted - she didn’t like the sound of the meat or the vegetarian option - we got in touch and they were happy to make a special meal, just for her. It was really lovely.

The only slight gripe we had was that the evening seemed a little understaffed and that perhaps the evening set up hadn’t been communicated quite as well as the day - but nothing a quick conversation couldn’t fix! The drinks are also quite expensive - but it is a 5* venue and a wedding so to be expected.

We had our wedding at Oddfellows last year and it was an incredible venue! The staff were incredible and helped out so much on our big day. Even down to assisting putting out decorations so our guests didn't have too.

The team were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our wedding planning. Even so much as inviting us down for a cup of coffee to chat through details, especially in the months leading up to the big day where you begin to panic you have done everything!

The food was also amazing. We had a few dietary requirements which the team were happy to find alternatives for as well.

We have such fond memories here now that we would definitely come back and visit in future. Thank you to the team at Oddfellows! You were amazing

It is important that I start this review by acknowledging the team at Oddfellows, communication was good in the planning stages and nothing was too much trouble, everyone, the receptionists, serving staff, bartenders, hotel staff , everyone in the Kitchens and management clearly care very much and take great pride in their work, we cannot thank everyone enough for making our wedding day as special as it was.

I am sorry to say that with so much going on on the day we have forgotten everyones names, but we would especially like to thank the lady that helped my mother and arranged for food to be kept warm when my father and uncle were stuck in traffic, the team that laid the tables the night before, and the gentleman who was so touched when we explained why our family dog was featured on our wedding cake.

The rooms at Oddfellows received universal praise from our guests, the food was of spectacular quality and surprisingly generous portions. every element of our day, decor, and entertainment was accommodated perfectly.

I will never forget our ceremony in the Galloping Major, staff waiting with glasses of champagne afterwards, followed by a short walk with our dog and photographer in the lovely surroundings.

Oddfellows is a hidden gem of a venue, if you aren’t sure, go take a look, fall in love with it’s odd charm and its world-class hospitality team.

October 31st 2024 was the best day of our lives (So Far!), and we have Oddfellows on the park to thank.

The venue is beautiful, stunningly styled and the food was the best wedding food we and a lot of our guests have had

The wedding planner was excellent, pro-active and lead us through the plans very well, including raising things we had totally forgotten

The bar service was excellent and we couldn’t be happier with how the whole day went

We had a big group there for a wedding and occupied the whole place. Beautiful boutique hotel. Makes you feel like you love there for a few days. Very nice and helpful people. Small team, but dedicated. Great experience.

Oddfellows is a fun, quirky & stunning venue, having the ceremony in the Galloping Major is a must, a beautiful room. The food was fantastic, we both loved choosing our menu with the team. The team who supported us on the day were exemplary.

We held our wedding breakfast and wedding reception at oddfellows on the park in October and it was everything we could ask for and so much more.
The venue, the staff, the food, everything was incredible and we have had nothing but compliments from all of our guests about this hidden gem of a place.
We need to give extra special thanks to Tracey for looking after the bridal party the night before the wedding and the morning of the wedding and Liam who was absolutely superb in ensuring our day went smoothly, he could not have done more for us and it was massively appreciated, he was taken over by Peter in the evening and he also went above and beyond for us to ensure the evening party went without a hitch. The guys behind the bars worked so hard and were so helpful, everyone had nothing but lovely things to say about all the staff which was great. Paul, the head chef knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding breakfast and him and his team delivered exceptional food for our first meal as newly weds. The evening food was also delicious and there was plenty of it, no one went hungry throughout the day.!
The day ran so smoothly and this was because every little detail had been considered, not only by us but by the team involved, we didn’t need to worry about a thing and it felt like we were guests at own wedding which was just great, it made it such a relaxing day for us to enjoy.
Ansah was our wedding coordinator and she helped us plan the day from the beginning and how it would look throughout and she was great from our very first meeting though until the very end.

We can't recommend Oddfellows highly enough. The team were superb in the organisation but also on the day. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like the only couple ever to get married there. When we booked they said it should feel like our home for the weekend, and that's what it was - exactly as we wanted. Quality, class, warmth and fun.

Ansah, Vicky and all the team from front of house, and the unseen staff in kitchen and housekeeping provided us with the most fantastic, happy, wedding reception with professionalism and friendliness. Our arrangements were made long distance as we aren’t ‘locals’ We were so happy with our choice. Nothing was too much trouble.and everything was provided with a smile. Thank you so much everyone.
