We couldn't image a better venue that Doddington Hall! The venue is beautiful and the team make sure you make the most of it through their incredible talent and professionalism. From booking to the big day, nothing was too much to ask, and on the day the whole team were exceptional - we didn't have to worry about a thing! The food was brilliant - every guest said they enjoyed it. We're surprised more people don't go for the BBQ Feast, you absolutely should it was gorgeous and fresh during a warm summer. The accommodation was fantastic - the joy of having our friends and family on site in their own little village was a huge plus for us, everyone had an amazing time. Thank you!

Walcot Hall was the first and only place me and my husband looked at for a wedding venue. From our first visit we were in love with the place. The house and grounds are simply stunning. We booked the house for the whole weekend so we could have the space and time to get relax the night before, get ready on the morning and then have breakfast with some of our guests the morning after. It was one of the best decisions we made! Holly you were outstanding as our coordinator. She had everything under control and organised. From our first meeting she left us with no doubt that everything would be looked after, and it was! Holly took the stress out of the run up to the wedding and the day itself. We had originally wanted an outdoor wedding and unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, but Holly had that covered. By the time it got to the ceremony we didn’t even notice the weather. Julie you are so talented! Julie prepared the buffet for our evening guests and it was amazing. So delicious and tasty. One of our guests was particularly fond of the tuna sandwiches. Julie also prepared the breakfast on the morning after the wedding and it was faultless. There was plenty of food for everyone and she went out of her way to make scrambled eggs for a couple of people. Skye, thank you so much for keeping the bar running. You were so calm and patient even when it got a little busy. You were chatty with all of the guests and so many people commented on how lovely you were. Thank you again for thinking of the glass of wine while I was getting ready, I needed it and it helped immensely. Cindy, I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for our wedding. You went above and beyond, nothing was too much for you. You made sure everyone had everything they needed and made sure everything ran smoothly for the whole weekend. You were so lovely with all of the guests and a few of them came away saying “I think me and Cindy are best friends now”. We couldn’t have asked for a better host and choosing your venue was the best decision we made. I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else and getting the outstanding level of customer service you and your staff provided. As the owner of Walcot Hall you should be extremely proud of each and every one of your staff and the business you are running. We honestly can’t thank you enough.

The team at Wildes were excellent. They worked closely with us to make sure the day was perfect. The packages they offer are really good value. The food was amazing and all our guests commented on how good it was. On the day our wedding coordinator (Alex) worked really hard to make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was happy and well looked after. The day was brilliant due to how hard the team at Wildes worked and we cannot thank them enough.

Luci and the team were fantastic, Luci recently joined the Kelham team and she was so organised, professional, proactive and in general a lovely person to have helping coordinate your big day! Luci, as well as the whole Kelham team ensured the day ran perfectly and they couldn’t do enough for us, constantly ensuring there was nothing else we needed, keeping us updated with the next steps for the day and lending a hand to our elderly guests where needed. The food was brilliant, with the chef accommodating the menu to suit our taste or the intolerances/allergies of the guests and even the cleaning staff made our day perfect by cleaning our welcome to the wedding mirror on the morning of the wedding - nothing more could have been done by the team! Would thoroughly recommend Kelham for your wedding, the staff are amazing and the venue itself is beautiful, the grounds are always kept tidy, and we got a lot of compliments from guests on how stunning the venue was.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where do I even start? I’ve spent the past year planning a wedding alongside the Wootton Hall team, and I can honestly say they are some of the loveliest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Kate and Stevie have created something really special here. Kate is like a modern-day Martha Stewart. I genuinely don’t think there’s anything she can’t make, fix or turn her hand to. She has this incredibly calm, graceful aura that instantly puts everyone at ease, and no matter what you need, she’s already one step ahead. She’ll go above and beyond without ever making you feel like it’s a chore, and that warmth and hospitality filters right through every single member of the team. Then there’s Stevie. Handily for me, he’s also a producer! I had a very specific aisle song that needed producing, and after struggling to find anyone who could pull it off, Stevie absolutely nailed it. He’s also the man who somehow has a solution to every technical problem imaginable. Whatever the issue, he’s only ever a phone call away, and somehow always has an answer. Together they create this lovely, cosy feeling that makes Wootton Hall feel like home. Even the vendor food deserves its own paragraph! I booked over 30 suppliers for this wedding, and every single one of them said it was the best vendor food they’d ever been served. Honestly, it felt more like sitting down in a Michelin-starred restaurant than grabbing a quick meal between jobs. A huge thank you as well to Louise, Katie and Alex from the coordination team. You three were an absolute dream to work alongside. Friendly, approachable, proactive and genuinely felt like an extension of my own team. We all slotted together so naturally, and that’s something you can’t fake. Findley, the bar manager, deserves a special mention too. The hardest-working man in the building! He’s somehow still there when you leave at the end of the night, and then the first smiling face you see when you’re back the next morning. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Sam and the chefs… wow. The food was genuinely the talking point of the entire wedding. Every course was outstanding, and dining at Wootton Hall feels like eating in one of the country’s finest luxury restaurants. It isn’t just wedding food—it’s an experience. The waiting staff were absolute grafters from start to finish. So kind, so polite, endlessly patient and an absolute joy to work with. As a planner, having a team like that around you makes all the difference. Guests didn’t stop commenting on how wonderful every single member of staff was. And then there’s Chris. Every venue needs a Chris! Very tall, very strong and somehow able to solve just about any problem you throw at him. If something needs moving, fixing or building, don’t worry… Chris has probably already started. He’s got a carpentry workshop on site, so if you need something making, he’ll just make it. Absolute legend. It’s rare to find a venue where every single person genuinely cares, but that’s exactly what Wootton Hall has. The kindness, teamwork and pride everyone takes in what they do is something really special. Thank you all for making my bride’s dreams come true. Everything about Tissington Hall was just wonderful. The team were wonderful to deal with, especially Cat who supported and reassured us during the whole process. Nothing seemed too much effort. Our wedding day was everything we could have every hoped and dreamed it would be, we would both love to experience it all over again and that is down to the team behind it all. They made the vision of our intimate, relaxed wedding come to life and I couldn't recommend them enough.

We stumbled across this venue and instantly fell in love with Priory House and it's hosts Carole and Roger. We honestly could not imagine marrying anywhere else!
