We got married at Ruffynes Barn, and I can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more. The barn itself is absolutely stunning – full of character, charm, and a sense of rustic elegance that creates the perfect atmosphere for a truly magical day. What made our experience even more special was Suze, the owner. She was nothing short of incredible – warm, attentive, and so genuinely invested in making sure our day went smoothly. From the moment we first viewed the venue to the day of the wedding, she was always there to offer support, answer questions, and help bring our vision to life. Every detail of the barn is thoughtfully designed, and it offered the ideal backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the setting was – it felt intimate, relaxed, and truly special.

Choosing The Beaverwood was the best decision we made for our wedding. Lisa and Ellie are absolute stars; they took all the pressure off us so we could truly enjoy our ceremony. They were incredibly flexible and willing to adjust every detail to ensure everything was perfect for us. Throughout the planning, they were always ready to jump on a phone call or meet us on-site to discuss adjustments or provide creative suggestions that added such special touches to our day. They were also fantastic at suggesting recommended vendors for catering, production, and photography, which made the whole process so much easier. The venue itself is a hidden gem—it felt like a dream in the sun, and the staff's attention to detail is unmatched. Even our guests commented on how helpful and kind the bar team was. You won't find a more beautiful venue in the London area for such a reasonable price. Thank you, Lisa, Ellie, and the whole team, for making the start of our married life so special!

We first heard of the Village at the wedding fayre based at the hotel. Once we attended this we was set at having our wedding reception here. Great value for money, helpful staff and very helpful with allocating rooms for our families to stay local for the wedding weekend. Good food, good rooms and the party room and buffet at the evening was excellent. The Village are also very accommodating to allow other wedding companies to attend to set up different parts of our big day. Very happy and would advise this venue to others. Thank you.

My wife and I booked this last year after being a bit let down by our original venue. In hindsight I wished that we had seen this venue 1st as the team were so helpful and friendly that It put me and my wife at such ease. The venue had a lovely country feel and the grounds were large and safe enough for all the children run around without any worry. Thank you so much to all the staff and for all your' hard work. We would most definitely suggest Shires Oast to our friends.

Had a fantastic wedding at the tickled trout, Food was amazing and good portion size. Staff were friendly and accommodating, they made my wedding breakfast look amazing and set it out as I wanted. Charlie is great and was always helpful with needs and replies quickly to any quires and emails. Nothing was too much trouble. Venue it self is perfect and we hired whole pub out which was great such a pretty venue inside and out.

Honestly, I cannot find a fault. We booked the Moat around 2 years before our wedding date, booked from a Wedding Showcase. Sat down with Amanda and spoke through what we wanted, paid the deposit and walked out with huge smiles on our face. When I tell you that smile still hasn't stopped. We got assigned Aimee for our wedding and oh my gosh she is just amazing. Constant check ins, made us feel sure in our decisions and if we needed too face to face meetings. She truly is such a lovely person and really made this whole experience a lot less stressful. We got reminders when we needed to pay, had a food trial & exclusive evening events where we could take our parents so they can see the venue. On the day I stayed in the room the night before (this is dependant on if there is a wedding the day before/events etc, you'll find out 3 months before the wedding) where I stayed with my mum and 2 bridesmaids. We went for a meal in the restaurant the night before with my dad, brother and our little dog (who always loves coming with us) where we really enjoyed ourselves! Then back to the room to start wedding prep! The rooms are just gorgeous, the door that opens through was perfect. It was the perfect get ready spot, everyone felt comfortable and cared for. We had yoghurt, fruit and granola in the fridge ready for the morning, water and orange juice too. Which is a nice touch. Aimee came in and checked on us around every hour and a half/two hours to make sure we had everything we needed. She is just a natural at this kind of stuff, coming in & having a little dance with us to help calm nerves. She helped with the first look and made sure the photographer got the perfect angles! Then the wedding time came, all the guests went into the ceremony room, my bridesmaids & myself in the tap room ready to walk down the isle. A quick pep talk from the staff & Aimee and off we went. Music was timed perfect, my dress was fluffed before I walked down which I didn't even think of doing & we got married! After the ceremony, we went back up to the tap room & got our first drinks as a married couple handed to us. Which were just perfect, they were exactly what we needed. Our guests were so happy with the service of the bar staff who seemed to just love their jobs! After our drinks reception we went back down to the ceremony room for our wedding breakfast which was beautifully laid out by the team there, the food was served promptly. I cannot fault anything with the service, the food was delicious, Miles was always around with bottles of wine to top up ensured everyone always had a drink, served with a huge smile! Speeches came & the microphone came out, even that was perfect - we had a little fault with one of them but was seamlessly swapped over for a new mic! Once food was done it was dancing time, the in house DJ they have Carl is also Amazing! Made sure we had music played that we wanted, but when I tell you our dance floor was NEVER empty - I mean it! We danced our hearts out, had fun and shared love with the entire room. Once it was all over, we went back to our rooms for the night. Then up for breakfast with our guests the next morning, which was also, amazing. I think the one thing you have to take out of this review is that I genuinely cannot find any faults, it was the perfect day. From the staff, to the venue, to the food, every single little thing was perfect. Thank you to Aimee and the team at The Moat for making our day, just so perfect. I keep getting people raving about it and that is due to your service and delivery, thank you.

We booked the Knot now, Knot later package and planned our wedding with Annie and Helen, within six months. The package included a three course meal, 8 rooms with access to leisure facilities, toastmaster, hire of private bar and function room until late, with evening light bite. Both Annie and Helen were amazing from the initial contact through to the day itself, answering all our questions efficiently and put us at ease throughout. Everyone commented on the table service and how delicious the food was, as well as how great it was having Geoff the toastmaster on hand all day. The venue was immaculate and the grounds manicured, truly making it an unforgettable special day! Thank you too all the team at Eastwell Manor.

We had our wedding here and it was amazing we got married 21st of August 2025. We had our ceremony outside and it was beautifully decorated, and enough space for the children to run around. Our meal was in the marquee and it also was decorated beautifully exactly as we had imagined. Our wedding coordinator Karen was amazing and helped everything run smoothly. The in house dj was awesome, I had a playlist already made and he made sure we all had such a good evening into the night.

We had our wedding party at the Mercure and the package included everything that we needed. The outdoor area was great to have on a hot summers day. Good food and the DJ they provided was great. Would definitely use the Mercure Tunbridge Wells for another event!

We wanted to share our heartfelt thanks for allowing us to celebrate our wedding at Hall Place on Friday, 24th April 2026. From start to finish, the day was truly incredible. The venue itself is stunning, and we felt so fortunate to celebrate such an important occasion in such a beautiful setting. Everything ran seamlessly, and the team were consistently warm, professional, and attentive throughout, which made the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable. We were especially touched by the care and attention to detail. Everything was arranged exactly as we had envisioned, and the thoughtful gesture of placing my mum’s memorial cloth on the memorial table after the ceremony meant a great deal to us. It was handled with such sensitivity and kindness. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience and have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you again for helping to make our day so special, memorable, and perfectly executed.
