The Best Western Abbots Barton is a superior 3 star, Gothic style hotel, set in 2 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, with plenty of on-site parking.

Comprising 53 en-suite bedrooms, The Fountain Restaurant, 4 private function rooms suitable for more intimate weddings and the Cathedral Suite, which seats up to 120 people for a wedding breakfast and 180 for an evening reception. The Cathedral suite has views and direct access to the gardens which provides an idyllic setting for photographs and should you desire, marquees holding up to 250 guests.

All our menus have been thoughtfully created by our Executive Chef, but are also flexible and can be tailor made to meet your own individual requirements.

Whether you choose a traditional celebration or something more contemporary, our experienced Wedding Coordinator will be with you every step of the way to advise and guide where necessary, to ensure that your day is truly special.

      This is just a quick note to say thank you ever so much for all the work you put into organising our wedding at Abbots Barton Hotel. Also our very sincere thanks to you and Ramesh, and your colleagues for your tireless work on the wedding day. Our expectations were high and we were very impressed with the professionalism and excellent standard of service delivered by all. The ceremony and banquet were even more lovely and spectacular that we had imagined, and making sure it all went smoothly for over 100 guests is great testament to the skills of yourself and your colleagues.       Hello Sharne, I have been meaning to send this e-mail for a while, but time has flown by since our wedding day back in July! We would like to say a massive thank-you to you and all of the staff at the hotel for making our wedding day so special, we had an amazing day thanks to the hard work that you all put in, both leading up to and on the day! Our guests all commented on how lovely the staff, food and hotel were. My sister will be dropping off a box of chocolates and card during the week to say thank-you, I hope you all enjoy them!

      Dear Sharne, We've just got back from our mini break and just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for all your help and hard work. We were very pleased with how the reception went and the decoration of the tables and food was perfect. Thank you for being so accomodating and making our day very special.       a perfect day
      to all the staff, thank you very much for the service we recieved on the day of our wedding. The tables and food were lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our guests who stayed the night were very happy with their rooms and thought breakfast was fantastic. All in all we were very happy with everything and would recommend the hotel to anyone getting married. Special thansk to Sharne who was especially helpful. Thanks Again.

      Hi Sharne, First a massive thanks to you and everyone that day for making such a perfect day happen, all your staff were first class throughout the whole day, everything was arranged and prepared just perfect.
