We had our wedding at Cottons Hotel and Spa, and I genuinely can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make our day so special. From the very beginning, Charlotte was incredibly supportive - always available, always kind and patient when I was asking a million questions and updating our requirements, nothing was ever too much trouble. Her help throughout the planning process made everything feel smooth and stress-free.

We met Mark on the Friday before our wedding on the Saturday and I’m not sure he went home from that point onwards. He stepped in calmly, ran the show and I didn’t have to think twice about anything from that moment on. I couldn’t tell you if everything went to plan because I honestly think Charlotte, Mark and the team just dealt with everything that came their way and allowed us to enjoy the experience. The venue looked stunning, the team was on top of every detail, and their calm, professional approach meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment.

Charlotte, Mark and everyone behind the scenes were a dream to work with - thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect for us. We felt so cared for and supported, and we’ll always be grateful for their part in such a memorable celebration.

The staff was excellent from the moment we checked in until we checked out , charollette and Marks Teams are absolutely superb, from the early morning to late at night

We were married at Cottons July 2025. We stayed the night before and staff were able to allocate us a room for the bridal party to all get ready the morning of the wedding.
Staff were excellent and knew exactly what they were doing. I was able to contact them all the run up to the wedding and they were able to awnser questions and accommodate whayever i wanted my wedding to be like with their full support and dedication to make our dream happen! The day ran smoothly thanks to them!
The verandah suite that was used for our ceremony and reception and was spectacular! And when dressed looked even better than I expected.
Although there is a smaller outdoor space to other venues our pictures look amazing!
The wedding breakfast was gorgeous, we had compliments from lots of our guests of how good the food was and that they were able to cater so well for over 90 people having different menu choices and requirements! Staff there went above and beyond for us and were able to ensure we had the best day ever!!!
We are looking forward to staying again.

We chose Cottons for our late afternoon civil ceremony and follow on reception/ party because they offered us a bespoke package and were one of the most reasonably priced venues. They did not disappoint - they were helpful, professional and made sure everything ran smoothly. From booking our wedding until the day after, everything was stress free and the cottons team exceeded our expectations. Nothing is to much trouble. Our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. Every single one of our guests commented saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to and the food served was the best food they had ever tasted. Jessica helped us through the booking process and took down all the details leaving no page unturned which was then passed to Liv and Mollie who were in charge or running our special day. They really couldn’t have done any more for us. On behalf of my husband and I and every single of one of our guests, thank you. The cottons team know what they’re doing and their experience shows and I can assure you that there will be nothing to stress about.

From start to finish the Cottons were so accommodating and helpful. Even with a change in staff the new coordinator was so helpful and it was like she had been there from the start. Alex who ran the Wedding went above and beyond to do all he could to help us and was still there at 1am asking us if we needed anything.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff and myself, my husband and out guests often say how brilliant the day was and it was partly down to the staff.
The venue was perfect for our special day with perfect photo opportunities all around the grounds.

I had a small wedding at Cottons Hotel and Spa in the Plumbley suite and it was a wonderful day / evening; the staff at Cottons could not have been any more professional and friendly especially Jess and Alex who were amazing on the day itself.
Leading up to the day I was in communication with Jess and she was always available and happy to help.
The food and drink was perfect, excellent value for money, I would have no hesitation in recommending Cottons and the services from Alex and Jess for a wedding event.

From contacting Cottons to viewing for our wedding venue to right through to leaving as Mr & Mrs we were looked after exceptionally well. The tour of the hotel and facilities showed what a comfortable and relaxed venue it was.

Friendly staff took the time to discuss what we wanted for our wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble. The food tasting was delicious and guided us to our choices for the wedding breakfast. Organising rooms, venue dressers and a kids chill out zone really made the day feel special.

The bridal party and family enjoyed a few days together around the wedding day making the whole weekend relaxed. The day was just perfect.

Being able to plan the day with Jess the Wedding Co-ordinator was really valuable and her suggestions added those extra touches. The whole team at Cottons were great. I surprised my husband by having singing waiters. They blended in so much with the staff even I could not tell who they were until the show started! It’s a lovely venue which made our day just the best.

We got married in July 24 at the lovely cottons hotel and Spa! From the moment we booked we were excited to have our day at the cottons. Jess our wedding planner at the venue was just amazing she kept in touch and nothing was too much trouble for her! She emailed back so quickly and we knew we could call her for any little query. We were invited in before our big day to taste the menu and wine and we had the most perfect stay at the hotel that evening!
In the run up to our day everything was so organised and Jess liaised with our suppliers so everyone knew what we wanted and how things would work on our day. I had no stress at all Jess made sure everything we wanted was noted and taken care of.
The day before, I checked in with my bridal party and we enjoyed using the spa and had an amazing meal! The service at the cottons is second to none we enjoyed every minute of that day and night. We were invited to sit down with the manager the day before and go over the plan for our day again to ensure we were happy. This really gave us peace of mind that everyone was ready and organised.
The next day, our wedding day, my bridal party and I were well looked after while we got ready! Alex who was in charge that day, organised everyone and the day ran so smoothly it was just perfect! The wedding breakfast was amazing, all our guests commented on the food. The service was amazing, everything was exactly how we wanted it. There wasn’t a moment where we weren’t sure what was happening or what we should be doing, the team at the Cottons just excelled and we had a stress free beautiful day which we cannot thank them enough for! We would choose the Cottons Hotel and Spa again in a heartbeat! We look forward to returning for our anniversary!

Wow. We fell in love with the Cottons from the moment we saw the room. We knew we had to get married there! It was the best choice we could have made. It was exceptional. From ease of payment, to ease of arrangements, we couldn't have picked anywhere better. The communication and responsiveness was exceptional. The food was outstanding. The day and night ran like clockwork. Best decision we ever made. The packages are excellent and make your life so easy! We will always love the Cottons ❤️
