Crathorne Hall is the perfect romantic setting for your wedding day. Formerly the home of Lord and Lady Crathorne, the Hall stands within 15 acres of beautiful woodland overlooking the Leven Valley. Situated in the small North Yorkshire village of Crathorne, still home to the Dugdale family, the hotel lies in quiet countryside between the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales.
We can cater for small intimate gatherings to larger traditional wedding receptions for up to 100 guests or 150 with exclusive use. We also have function rooms licensed for civil ceremonies. There is an air of timeless elegance about the reception rooms all having preserved their traditional Edwardian features. In summer, the French doors are thrown open to the magnificent gardens; in winter bask in the glow of the roaring log fires.
As is only proper to a great house, food and wine form a central part of life at Crathorne. The hotel is proud to have been awarded red star status for the tenth consecutive year. This prestigious accolade means that Crathorne Hall is within the top 200 hotels in England.
Every wedding is uniquely special and we believe your day should reflect this. From the moment you select Crathorne Hall as your wedding venue, our dedicated team will help take care of your arrangements throughout each stage of planning, to help make the process seamless.
On the big day itself, our experienced team will be there to ensure every last detail of your special day is perfect in every way, so you can relax and celebrate with your family and friends.
To keep planning simple we have created several wedding packages to make your day special, but are happy to discuss tailor made options if you have other ideas.
