Kim & Gemma were absolutely amazing, from when we first visited Rudyard we new this was the place for us to get married. It was very romantic, stunning views & we just loved everything about Rudyard Hotel.
The team went beyond our expectations, if we needed anything or ask anything they were there for us , the food at the evening buffet was delicious they catered for everyone, the buffet looked & tasted amazing. We couldn't of asked for anything else, our day was just amazing, from start to end, we would definitely recommend Rudyard for any occasion but especially your wedding. I can honestly say it was the best day; the venue is beautiful with the most amazing views/photo opportunities.
Me and my bridesmaids stayed in cottage 3 the night before as we had a very early start on the wedding morning. The cottage was lovely, cosy and clean, with everything needed available. We ordered breakfast that was brought over to the cottage to eat whilst having our hair and make-up done. The food was delicious.
Our wedding was at 12, so prior to the service, I was moved to the bridal suite via to fire escape (like a secret mission) to ensure that I was not seen by my husband and guests.
We had rain throughout the day; although this did not ruin it at all, the staff allowed us to do the confetti throwing shot indoors to prevent us from missing out. The weather dried up a little and we had the chance to get some amazing photos outside. We used Ian Hancock photography, and we cannot recommend him enough! We booked him at one of the venues wedding fayres at an amazing price. Ian knows the venue like the back of his hand, he’s super organised and couldn’t do enough for us to ensure that we got the best memories from our day.
The wedding breakfast was perfect, the kid’s meals were huge – some of our guests thought that the kid’s starters were the main meal, until their main arrived, the adult were happy to help out with the leftovers.
All of the staff were great, attentive, and happy to help with anything needed.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have as many evening guests as planned. But the night was still amazing, full of dancing and laughing. The bar staff even came for a good boogie at the end of the night which was brilliant. The only downfall was the evening buffet, although the food was absolutely fabulous, with so much choice, it didn’t stay out for long. Some of our guests arrived later due to work commitments and they only JUST made the buffet before it was taken in again. I aren’t able to eat more that one large meal a day, and am more of a grazer, so sadly I didn’t get to sample much of the food myself. I would suggest that this is left out longer so that guests can help themselves throughout the night. BUT this is our only criticism.
The bridal suite is gorgeous; it was perfect waking up with the views that we did and to enjoy yet another amazing breakfast with our wedding guests that had stayed over. We enjoyed a walk around the lake before going home. We would recommend this venue so much!

Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning regularly for food/drinks and possibly a couple of overnight stays in the future.

We had our wedding day here on friday and the staff were amazing from start to finish.
It was the most beautiful day.
The venue is amazing and so is the food.

Aug - 2007. We had our wedding reception at Rudyard and it was amazing, the food and the service. We could not have asked for a better day. A fabulous venue!!

we had are wedding at the hotel and could not fault the hotel or staff the food was exelent and service to match i would recomend anyone to hold there wedding there.
