We opted for the grazing table. It looked and tasted amazing! All our guests were blown away SO much food! (My one bit of advice is make sure you tuck in, at the end of the night there was so much food left over, we thought we would save lots. However, due to it being left out longer than 4hrs the staff member said we couldn’t take any. That was disappointing. As a suggestion it may be worth letting couples know beforehand. Also perhaps sign a waiver that says couple happy despite being advised against consumption due to health and safety).

That said, it was an amazing night and we had such a lovely stay. At every stage of planning staff were so helpful and the owner super accommodating. Especially with us having young children. We even did kids meals instead of the grazing table for the little ones. Nothing was too much trouble! ☺️

The room is decorated to how you would like and you can add your personal touches 🌸 There is also a games room, which was perfect for the older kids.

We wanted some sparklers outside and they helped us with this. ✨ Our hotel room had a lovely view of the sea and recently redecorated.

It is situated a 5mins walk to Bournemouth beach, so we went for some pictures before which is lovely 🤍

We booked the Collingwood for our wedding on the 2nd January this year after struggling with communication at another venue. From the first contact Marcin and his team were nothing less than fantastic. In the lead up to the wedding he was happy to ease any concerns and answer any questions that we had. We spent the whole wedding weekend at the hotel with friends and family and the whole entirety of our stay all of the staff were attentive, thoughtful and responsive. The rooms were perfect for us and our groomsman and bridal party to get ready in, with plenty of space for us all. Our 9 young grandchildren were treated with patience and understanding which made things even more special for us. As the venue had been decorated for the festive gala and looked so beautiful Marcin and the team kindly agreed to leave all the decorations in place for us throughout our stay which made our wedding reception look so magical. Every single guest has had nothing but positive feedback, they have even asked if we can have a 1 year anniversary party at the hotel so that we can all return and spend another perfect weekend at the hotel. The food was served beautifully and tasted amazing and our glasses throughout the wedding breakfast were constantly kept full. A special thank you must go to the barman who was kept very busy by our guests and always had a huge smile on his face, he also always managed to produce chocolate whenever our grandchildren were in the room which they were very happy about. A huge thank you to Marcin and his team, I could not imagine having such an amazing experience anywhere else.

Our wedding day at Hotel Collingwood was truly unforgettable.

From the very beginning, the staff made us feel so supported — nothing was ever too much trouble, and the communication from the events team made planning the day feel easy and stress-free. The option of payment plans also made such a difference, helping to take away so much of the financial pressure.

The team handled our family’s dietary requirements with such care, which meant the world to us, and the bar staff brought so much humour and warmth to the evening that it only added to the joy of the day.

We’ll always be so grateful for how personal and special everything felt, and we’re already so excited to return to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. We couldn’t recommend Hotel Collingwood more highly.

We cannot thank you Hotel Collingwood enough for giving us the most perfect wedding day. The staff were amazing, the attention to detail on all aspects of the day was incredible. We had a December wedding. The room looked stunning and the whole hotel was decorated like a winter wonderland. Totally magical! We could not have done it all without owners Michelle and Eytan. Extremely helpful, lovely and accommodating to our needs. This place has a special place in my heart, and we continue to visit for Sunday lunches and visits with our children. Nearly our first wedding anniversary and can’t wait to come back. Thank you to all xx
