We had an Indian/English fusion wedding earlier this year at Bowden Hall and could not recommend this venue enough! It was in a beautiful area and had plenty of rooms for all of our guests to stay. Vicky helped us throughout the whole wedding planning process and no request was ever too much! The communication throughout the process was excellent which was really important to us! We had our Indian wedding ceremony in the Lakeside Suite, with afternoon tea in the lounge, followed by our civil ceremony in the Ambassador Suite, and the reception back in the Lakeside Suite. It was excellent value for money, with such great help and organisation from Vicky and Rachel on the day to help everything run smoothly. Our guests loved the venue, and the Chef, Shaun, was happy to prepare a lovely ample Indian buffet which our guests loved! We really didn't have to worry about a single thing since the team at Bowden Hall had everything under control, and really took care of us and made us feel like VIPs the whole weekend we were there! The venue was stunning as well so we have some beautiful outdoor photos. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here!

We had the perfect wedding day! Prior to the day itself, the wedding co-ordinator was very responsive to queries, as well as really experienced, guiding us every step of the way. On the day we felt really well looked after and everything was really well organised. All our guests commented on the stunning venue and absolutely fabulous food.

Our wedding reception at Wild Thyme and Honey was an absolute dream come true. With 47 guests, we were seeking an intimate setting, and the venue delivered beyond expectations. The food was simply incredible, leaving all our guests raving about its deliciousness. Staying overnight at the Number 3 London Road Suite was a delightful experience. The room was thoughtfully laid out, providing all the amenities one could wish for. Breakfast in the room the next morning was another highlight, boasting top-quality ingredients and impeccable service. While the room wasn't included in the venue hire, which would have been more convenient, it didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience. We were informed early on about the restriction on live music after 8:30 pm unless we booked out all the hotel rooms, which was a bit disappointing, although understandable given the circumstances. However, this led us to discover the joy of a silent disco, transforming what could have been seen as a limitation into a delightful and distinctive feature of our wedding. Above all, the true stars of the day was Emily, the events manager, Connie her assistant and their team at Wild Thyme and Honey. Their dedication and support throughout the planning process and on the day itself were invaluable. Emily went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, making our wedding day truly magical. We cannot thank them enough for their exceptional service and would highly recommend Wild Thyme and Honey to anyone seeking a flawless wedding experience. Five stars all around!

Stacey was very good at keeping us up to date with our preperations and was very happy to answer any questions we had. On our wedding day Hugh and Anna were both very attentive and made sure we both were happy and anything they could help with, nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to have the extra touches left for us in the suite -rose petals on bed, champagne from staff, wedding card. Also when we arrived home from honeymoon to receive a card, personalised bar of chocolate and 1 year anniversary stay at the hotel. We both had a very enjoyable day, weather was lovely and the hotel with the lake made it special to us.

Absolutely gorgeous venue and fantastic value for money. All the staff working our wedding that day were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, everyone was so polite and energetic. They really were fab. Our toastmaster Richard was wonderful too! Kept the day running smoothly and our happiness really was his priority. He’s got the patience of a saint too!! The grounds are stunning and there are plenty of spots for beautiful photos.

We had the perfect Wedding reception at the Manor House Hotel recently. We had a lot of questions when we were looking at venues and the Manor House answered theses quickly and comprehensively. The Wedding planner guided us through everything smoothly in the 18 months or so build up to the day. We had a tasting session which was a very nice thing to experience and we really enjoyed it. All the organisation really paid off and meant that the day went like a dream. They helped me out of a "hole" with my buttonhole, the magnets were simply not up to the job, this certainly "saved" the day. The weather also played nicely which meant the outdoor garden reception was wonderful and we got some excellent photos. The tables for the Wedding Breakfast looked lovely laid out and the room was cool which was a nice contrast to being outside. The food was absolutely excellent and very filling. The service was brilliant both for the meal service and drinks in the evening. We both really enjoyed the day and I know our guests did as well. The Manor House House is a lovely place with a very professional service staff and we are glad we chose it for our Wedding reception. We would certainly recommend.

We had our wedding with immediate family in Florida so we're looking for a venue to hold our uk wedding party to celbrate with family and friends back home. The Robinswood hotel was fantastic. They were able to cater for everything we wanted. We had a Harry Potter theme and the venue was perfect for this. All staff before, during and after the event were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. Family travelling stayed at the hotel and gave me positive feedback about the rooms. We had breakfast with them and it was delicious. Our party food was excellent. We would definitely recommend the Robinswood for your event

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Bear. They were very relaxed yet also responsive on the run up to the day - Amanda is brilliant and was there to answer all of the little questions we had. Our food was wonderful - their menu caters well for everyone and the vegan food in particular was excellent. Lots of our guests commented on how good it was on the day! All of the staff were lovely on the day - just quietly sorting everything out behind the scenes but there if you needed them. Highly recommend!

We first visited Charingworth Manor in 2018 and after later getting engaged there in 2020, we decided it was only right to get married at this beautiful Cotswolds hotel. We got married at Charingworth Manor in July 2022 and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We truly could not have wished for a better day and it was all thanks to the absolutely amazing team there. The day was perfectly organised by Magda (events coordinator) who is just fantastic and made us feel so welcome from the first time we met until the wedding day itself - her communication, reassurance and advice during the whole process made planning our wedding easy and fun. All of the staff worked tirelessly to ensure our day was exactly how we wanted it and went above and beyond in every possible way. In particular, Dan didn’t stop for one second all day and was absolutely unbelievable - everyone commented on how amazing he was. Everyone needs a Dan at their wedding - it wouldn’t have been the same without him! So many of our guests told us that the food was the best wedding breakfast they’d ever had (beef wellington for main) and we were so impressed with the efficiency of the table and bar service. The rooms were turned around quickly and looked stunning. The day went without a single hitch and we wish we could do it all again tomorrow! Thank you so much to Anna, Magda, Dan and all of the wonderful team at Charingworth Manor for making our wedding day so special. We can’t wait to return very soon! If you’re thinking of getting married here… do it! You will not be disappointed!

We got married in the orangery in Tortworth Court in April. All of the staff were amazing from the booking process to the day of the wedding. Becky was fantastic on the day and we could not have asked for more from her. She helped us unload the decorations the day before and stored them securely, she decorated the venue for us, kept checking on both myself and husband to ensure we were ok and had everything we needed, and made sure we always had a drink in hand. The venue is 10/10 stunning and I’d recommend the venue to anyone.
