We got married a few weeks ago, and although we meant to write this review sooner, we’ve genuinely struggled to find the right words to express just how incredible the whole experience has been. There simply aren’t enough ways to say thank you.

Nicole joined our wedding planning partway through, taking over from our original coordinator, and from the moment she stepped in, everything just clicked. She was on top of every detail, responded quickly, and answered my endless questions—sometimes more than once—with patience, kindness, and a smile every time.

Working with Nicole and her attentive team, before hand and on the day, was an absolute pleasure. Our guests had nothing but praise for her, the staff, the food, and the beautiful venue. Even after the wedding, Nicole continued to support us, helping sort out a few last-minute hiccups (including things we accidentally left behind) and offering solutions straight away. The fact that she treated us with the same warmth and professionalism after our wedding meant so much.

The wedding day itself ran effortlessly thanks to Nicole and her team. Things just happened seamlessly around us—one moment we were getting married, and the next, the room had been transformed exactly as we’d imagined, without us having to worry about a thing. It truly was a magical moment for us when we walked in and saw all of our ideas and their hard work come together.

We wholeheartedly recommend working with Nicole. She is supportive, enthusiastic, organised, and genuinely cares about the couple she’s looking after.

I still feel that this review doesn’t fully capture how amazing it was and how grateful we are, but please know that we are eternally thankful for Nicole and the entire team—their time, professionalism, fun energy, expertise, and enthusiasm. We booked the De Vere Cotswold waterpark as our wedding venue in which we had our perfect day in April 2025. We honestly couldn’t recommend the venue more. The whole process leading up to the wedding, the communication, the staff, the facilities, cleanliness, food/ drink and the overall experience every time we visited prior to our wedding was exceptional.

We had the most perfect wedding day, it ran so smoothly and that was down to the experience and professionalism of the staff at the De Vere. They ensured we had and got everything we wanted to make it perfect.

We couldn’t have wished for a better venue for our wedding and there isn’t one thing we would change. We are really expcited to go back and stay for our one year anniversary which is included in our package.

From start to finish, our wedding at De Vere Cotswold Water Park was absolutely flawless. The venue itself is stunning — surrounded by beautiful lakes and peaceful countryside — but what truly made the day unforgettable was the incredible team, especially Nicole, our wedding coordinator.

Nicole was exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and that we felt completely at ease throughout the planning process. Nothing was ever too much trouble — from answering our endless questions to coordinating suppliers seamlessly on the day. Her calm, friendly, and professional approach made such a difference and allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every moment.

The service on the day was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the staff were attentive and genuinely lovely. Everything ran so smoothly — it felt effortless (even though we know how much work went on behind the scenes!).

Booking Cotswold Water Park for our wedding day was an easy decision with such a gorgeous positioning and decor. That's without mentioning their incredible package deals, we booked the top package at the time which was amazing value for money!

We booked 2.5 years in advance and were a little concerned with our choice based on communication issues. However, since Nicole has joined and taken over any concerns we had instantly vanished!
Nicole's approach and attitude towards every little detail is second to none. She is the most gorgeous human with a bubbly personality and nothing is too much! She really made our experience and vision come to life.
The team behind the scenes were incredible with the set up and service on the day.
Staff throughout the hotel could not do enough to help, not only us, but our guests too!
The chef for our day was so lovely and came to discuss anything and everything the night before whilst we were setting up.
The food was remarkable, every single guest whether they be vegetarian or a meat eater had many positive comments to make and in my opinion the food really helps make the day memorable and enjoyable for guests!

From start to finish... (even now when we reach out) our whole experience with De Vere Cotswold Water Park has been incredible and I strongly recommend to anyone considering!

From our first meeting with Nicole, she made me feel at total ease with everything. No job was too much for her and we both felt listened too with how we wanted our magical day to go.

We had a lot of family travelling and so we had dinner the night before in the restaurant and again everyone went beyond their duties to make sure everything was perfect.

I would highly recommend our wedding venue, the setting is beautiful and our honeymoon suite was to die for.

We got married here last year and I can honestly say it was just magical! We had originally planned a bigger wedding, however due to personal circumstances we had to bring our date forward with very short notice.

They were so accommodating and nothing was at all to much!! The venue is absolutly beautiful and the service we recieved was exceptional!!

We got married in April 2025 and it was the best day at the best venue. Nicole took over the role of events co-ordinator around half way through our wedding planning process and was fantastic. She was professional and approachable from the minute she had the job. Nothing was too much for her and the team leading up to the wedding day and on the day itself. The hotel is beautiful and we had the entire wedding party stay and get ready the night before and most guests stayed the night of too. Everyone commented on how fantastically the day was organised and how brilliant Nicole and her team were. The wedding packages are so well priced, which makes it even better when planning such a big day. We cannot thank Nicole and the team at the hotel enough for helping making our day so unforgettable! I wish we could do it all again!

Stacey was very good at keeping us up to date with our preperations and was very happy to answer any
questions we had.
On our wedding day Hugh and Anna were both very attentive and made sure we both were happy and
anything they could help with, nothing was too much trouble.
Really nice to have the extra touches left for us in the suite -rose petals on bed, champagne from staff,
wedding card. Also when we arrived home from honeymoon to receive a card, personalised bar of chocolate
and 1 year anniversary stay at the hotel.
We both had a very enjoyable day, weather was lovely and the hotel with the lake made it special to us.

On Saturday we got married at the hotel. We had the most amazing day and the weather was gorgeous. Huw and Anna were so helpful. Anna was always there making sure we were okay and tell us what was happening next. The hotel had an event on, on the Friday night and this meant I couldn’t get into the room the night before. I of course was uneasy about this as I would then not be able to set the room up on the Saturday. As promised though the venue did everything for me just how I wanted it! At the end of the night everything was packed away for us so we didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was amazing in all we had the perfect day

Held my daughters wedding here on 1/9/2019,they really did go the extra mile to ensure everything was just as we wanted it and to make my daughters special day exactly that.The venue and views were stunning,and the food were stunning.Hugh, Lewis and all the table staff managed the wedding and reception magnificently,stacey the wedding organiser was excellent throughout the whole of the planning process.Really can't praise the wedding and accommodation side of things enough.

My partner described them as 'superheroes' on the wedding day and the night before. They checked on us
continually throughout the day, sorted all our last min changes and queries on the day and the night before.
They were all amazing.

All of the team were really supportive. Both Stacey and Anna went above and beyond in both the
preparations and on the day. Everyone commented on the professional standard of the hotel and the quality
of the food at both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. Thank you for an amazing day.

I thought that the whole team who dealt with us were brilliant from start to finish. Stacey Renouf looked after
us from our first meeting to view the hotel until our wedding day and was professional and accommodating
and steered us in the right direction at all points, she was very calm and organised which reassured us and
made the process very easy for us. I would like to recognise the gentleman who looked after us on the day
and who was co-ordinating everything but I can't remember his name, again he was great as were all the
staff.
My guests had a wonderful day as did we and were impressed with the hotel, location and views along with

Me and my husband got married here last weekend (25-05-19). We arranged a viewing at this venue around 18 months before and just walking into the reception I knew this is where I wanted to spend my wedding day. The venue is beautiful, the staff are helpful and friendly and there was nothing we could fault! During our 18 months of planning I was in constant contact with our wedding coordinator ‘Stacey’. No question was too big or small for them, no requirements or requests were too much either. I always got email replies straight away and they made me feel so relaxed that I could trust them with all of our plans. The day before the wedding, my bridesmaids and I all had a meal and were given a glass of bubbly to celebrate! They treated us like we were having the only wedding in the world. The morning of the wedding I had three members of staff (poly, lewis and Hugh), who helped run our wedding day. I never saw them without a smile on their face and were so helpful. Our day ran so smoothly and if there were any problems they would of sorted it as I wasn’t aware of anything. The whole day was just amazing, all the guests had a great day. We cannot thank the hotel and staff enough.
