Alex and the entire team at The Old Bell Hotel were so incredibly supportive throughout the process of planning our intimate wedding reception. The wide range of food on offer (which was all exquisite) and the options for different locations within the hotel to cater for different sized celebrations were great and what helped us to decide that The Old Bell was the place for us.

From initial booking to view the venue to the service received all they way to the following morning it was fantastic. Chloe who met with us to view the venue was so helpful and answered all our questions and was so quick to respond to anything else we thought of during the booking process and handover to the onsite co-ordinator Radina. The value for money you get with the packages is amazing, and many people we spoke to were surprised but how much you get for the money! After booking we attending 2 further open days to see the venue again and also speak to suppliers they recommend and help us plan our ideas. Everyone we came in to contact with was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were then handed over to Radina who co-ordinated all the planning and on the day co-ordinator and she is fantastic. She was professional but she was also kind, supportive and just as excited to see the day come together, We decided to mix the traditional with the untraditional and were happy to support anything we wanted to add to our day - including live tattooists for the guests and us! Radina is a superstar and i cannot imagine that this would have gone so perfectly without her. So thank you Radina! On the day Radina kept everyone on schedule and kept my bridesmaids and the best men informed to ensure everything went off without a hitch. The whole team at the red lion were amazing and we could not fault them at all! Several members of our families commented on how well organised it was and how lovely all of the staff were. The food was lovely, and the catering team and head chef were amazing in going through details for the food to make sure it was right for us. We had a complicated allergens/dietary requirements list and they executed it all beautifully without any issues. The venue is stunning and the history is amazing, with many guests going for a wander to take photos of all the historical aspects. Last but definetly not least we have to say a massive thank you to the bar staff - especially Lucas, Steven and Rhys who were fantastic at keeping everyone in alcohol and providing everyone with humour! You guys truly deserve this shout out! Thank you all for making our wedding day the best day! Ria & Josh

We were able to negotiate our package on food choices and it came with 6 month gym membership for both a room the night of stay. Marie and Jayne were very helpful, food was delicious.

It all started with an hello and a laugh I met the most loveliest kind heart girl I’ve ever met🥰 Courtney was such a delight to be around helped with absolutely everything made sure I was happy and comfortable with everything and the staff at the Stones Hotel were angels truly was there from start to finish yet no one noticed them just made my evening a night to remember I would highly recommend going to The Stones Hotel you will be looked after in the best way and stress free which every bride needs on her special day💗

My husband and I got married 31/12/24. We didn’t have the ceremony at The Moonraker but we had the wedding breakfast and celebration there. Most of the guests arrived the 30/12, the hotel and staff couldn’t have been any more accommodating if they tried. They literally went above and beyond not just for the bride and groom but all the guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely some more lovely than others, all quirky and old country feel. Definitely worth the price in the package. The day of the wedding again the staff were just on it, everything where it needed to be before it needed to be. Between Courtney- the hotel manger and Sue’s ( no idea of her position at The Moonraker ) they smashed it. They coordinated seamlessly with our suppliers and guest throughout. The food was lovely, we tweaked the menu to sausage and mash ( we always have sausage and mash when we visit Bath, so it was more fitting to have this on our day). Again it was lovely- one thing that stood out to our guest was the wine pp included on the table was brought through into the bar area. So many people commented on how amazing that was, and they didn’t just pocket it. I don’t believe the bar was over priced either. Which is always a bonus. The venue its self can be whatever you want it to be it’s so versatile. It doesn’t need dressing that much the marquee is beautiful with the twinkle lights and the log burner- The price of the package we chose I fully believe was worth every penny. I would choose the venue again and again- 15/10 recommended. Sad it’s all over Kayleigh and Jordan

We couldn’t ask for better venue From Day one all went smooth good value for service. I was bombarding them with question that was answered with in a hours or day. On the day we had best venue menager ever, everyone praise how good food was and how excellent service they provided. We will definitely use their service again for bigger party like rounded birthdays

We got married at guyers house in December. It was so perfect for us. Sarah was amazing and constantly kept in touch and made sure it was exactly how we wanted it to be. Even playing the music for us at the right time, she was happy with what ever we wanted. We had teas, coffees and orange for the children, we were not rushed and all the staff seemed genuinely happy for us. We informed we had someone coming in a wheelchair, ramps were put down and made sure there was enough room in the ceremony for his chair. It was the perfect day and me and my husband, and all our family will never forget how lovely they made it for us.

I don’t know where to start for this incredible experience. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams on June 28, 2025, in Rose & Crown Hotel, in Salisbury. Everything provided exceeded our hopes and expectations. Maisie, the hotel’s wedding coordinator, made every effort to accommodate us in every way to make it the most special day for us. She is easy to work with, always available, makes time for our queries, and is happy to walk us through any detail, no matter how small. Maisie and the team went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, from setting up the decorations to coordinating with our vendors seamlessly. The food was delicious. Our guests ( 47 during ten ceremony and additional 10 for the evening reception) all complimented the food from the canapés to the wedding breakfast meal and the evening reception buffet. From the start until the end of the day, the staff were excellent and kind to everyone. Up until now, our family and friends, still raved how incredible everything was. I cannot recommend this venue and all of its staff. Thanks to Maisie and the team for giving us an unbelievable day and memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

Nothing was ever too much trouble — they went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and felt truly special. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by every single guest. The team were so attentive throughout the day, always making sure we and our guests were looked after. The location itself is breathtaking, with amazing views across to the Westbury White Horse — the perfect backdrop for our wedding photography and videography. Our photos are simply stunning thanks to the beautiful surroundings. If you’re searching for a venue that combines incredible organisation, warm hospitality, and a setting that will take your breath away, look no further. This truly is a dream wedding venue. 🌹😍
