We booked our wedding 4 years ago and it was the first and only venue we ever went to see. As soon as we saw the venue and met the events team our decision was made and we booked the date the same day. The venue is so so special. The events team are unbelievably good at what they do and they honestly want you to have the best day. They are so warm and welcoming and we are so grateful to have had them plan our wedding with us. We can’t thank the team at Carbis Bay enough for our wedding day. It was honestly perfect and felt like a dream. Carbis Bay will always be our special place.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Carbis Bay Estate highly enough. From the moment we started planning to the moment our wedding ended, the whole experience was absolutely incredible.

We got married on the Wedding Hut Terrace overlooking the sea and it was everything we’d dreamed of and more. The setting is simply breathtaking… white sand, turquoise sea and the most beautiful backdrop imaginable. So many of our guests told us it was one of the most stunning and memorable weddings they’d ever been to.

The events team were amazing throughout and made everything feel completely effortless on the day. They were attentive, calm, organised and genuinely seemed to care that everything was perfect for us. We were able to completely relax and enjoy every second because we knew everything was being taken care of behind the scenes.

A special mention has to go to Emma from EmilyRoseHire and the styling of the venue. Walking in and seeing everything for the first time completely blew us away. It looked even more beautiful than we’d imagined and every little detail was perfect.

The food, drinks, service, accommodation and whole atmosphere were fantastic, and having our family and friends together by the sea made it feel incredibly special.

Our wedding at Carbis Bay was genuinely one of the best days of our lives. We’d do it all over again in a heartbeat and will forever be grateful to everyone there who helped make it so magical.

Carbis Bay event and wedding staff were incredible. From start to finish they helped us organize a stress free wedding from the USA. We had a wedding party mix of UsA & UK guests The planning, communication to the set up and day of wedding was brilliant. Ourselves and guests were made to feel very welcome. The venue itself is pristine and absolutely stunning. We highly recommend them and will be returning for a vacation next year.

2 weeks on from the best day of our lives and we honestly have this incredible venue and all the amazing people working here to thank! The day was everything we could have wished for and so much more. Every single detail was thoughtfully planned and executed perfectly, meaning we could relax and enjoy every moment.

We booked this venue quite early in our engagement because it has always been such a special place to us. We come here every year for family holidays, Jasper proposed on Carbis Bay beach, and we celebrated our engagement in Walter’s too. There really was nowhere else in the world we wanted to get married.

From the moment we booked, Ria, Phoebe, Sofia and Abi were all incredible. Every question I had - big or small - was answered quickly and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
A very special thank you has to go to Abi, who went above and beyond for us. She was exceptional from start to finish, and so many of our guests commented on how attentive, professional and genuinely lovely she was throughout the day. She even took the time to capture a few video highlights on her phone and, despite having hundreds of beautiful professional photographs, some of those little videos are among my absolute favourites!

On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. The food was incredible, the venue looked breathtaking, and every member of staff made us and our guests feel so well looked after.

Wow! Where do we even start. Our wedding truly was the best day of our lives, and it couldn't have been in a more perfect picturesque place than the idyllic Carbis Bay!
Phoebe Abi and Sofia were the dream team, they were so professional and made sure our day was everything we had dreamed of. They were kind, thoughtful and proactive! We can't thank them enough.
We got married on the decking at the wedding hut, with the stunning sea view. The sun was shining and the photos look like we were in the Caribbean!
We had a bbq for our main meal and it was unreal, there was SO much food! We didn't want to have one of those weddings where everyone left saying the food was bad and that they went home hungry... Carbis certainly made sure no one had empty tummy's! The starters alone were huge! Every penny was well spent and we wouldn't change a thing.
We wish we could do it all again, thank you so much Carbis Bay, all our guests had the best time and we will never forget the feeling of saying 'I do' at our dream destination.

From pre-wedding BBQ, the day itself and post-wedding (hungover) breakfast, Carbis Bay delivered a constant level of perfection.
There is no better location in the UK, the view over the Bay, the proximity to St Ives, a choice of locations to get married (and party), each detail we wanted was executed perfectly and our guests had the most incredible time which is what you want. They were treated like VIPs and the team (Ria, Sofia, Abi, Phoebe and Nicole) were a constant support.

We cannot stress enough that this was a day that surpassed every expectation.

The team, Ria, Abi, Phoebe and Sofia, are an absolute dream, making the whole planning process go smoothly. They had an answer for every question we had which gave us the confidence we needed to know our special day was in the best hands. Not only was their coordination on the day outstanding, making it run so smoothly and expertly but they also helped with Friday night celebrations and anything else we needed in the run up and beyond. Everything was just taken care of as standard so we didn't need to worry about getting in extra planners/ support.
We got married in the Ocean Venue (now called Mor) and the food was a real showstopper.
The wider estate meant we could create even more special memories with guests. From evening cocktails with family and friends in Walters, to afternoon tea in the orangery with the In-laws and of course a dip in the sea the morning after - it was so easy to elongate our celebrations and spend precious time with those that travelled so far to celebrate with us. We can't wait to go back for anniversaries!!

We had the most amazing wedding day at Carbis Bay. The venue itself is stunning and the view from the Ocean View venue is outstanding.

Our guests were blown away by the setting, with many saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

The venue was good value considering the incredible view, beach location, and overall experience. They offered us a special rate for our five night stay, and our guests also had a great room rate, which really helped with the cost.

The drinks prices were reasonable, the food service was quick, and the food itself was excellent. Everyone loved it, especially the sticky toffee pudding.

All the team were friendly, polite, and did their best to assist with anything we asked for and helped make sure the day ran smoothly.

We had a perfect day at the most amazing venue, we wish we could do it all over again.

We chose Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate for our wedding celebrations and honestly could not have asked for a more perfect venue. From the moment we booked in July 2024, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. At the time we were living in Oxfordshire, but the events team (Ria, Sofia, Abi & Phoebe) were incredibly accommodating and arranged both a viewing and video calls to make planning from a distance so much easier.
Throughout the planning process we had lots of questions, and every query was answered quickly and helpfully with no issue at all. The communication throughout was excellent and really helped us feel reassured and excited leading up to the big day.

Our wedding day itself was absolutely perfect and flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The events team communicated brilliantly with us throughout the day and were fantastic at accommodating all of our guests. The venue itself is simply stunning and was exactly what my husband and I had envisioned for our wedding.

We are so grateful to everyone at Carbis Bay for giving us such incredible memories for our wedding. We are gutted it’s over but we already cannot wait to return for our first wedding anniversary!

We booked our April 2026 wedding in June 2024 and from the get go the venue staff have been fantastic. It was a dream of ours for years to get married in the ocean venue, Ria, Abi, Sophia & Phoebe definitely made that dream come true for us. We had the most perfect day, in the most beautiful venue with Carbis looking its absolute best. The girls were brilliant with our guests, kept our day running smoothly and delivered brilliant service.
The events team put a lot of passion into everything they do and truly care about you as a couple and your wedding. We’re not local to Cornwall, but at no point was this an issue in terms of planning. Ria and her team have been flexible and worked with us to make things as easy for us as possible. From menu tastings, stays at the estate and planning meetings we’ve been looked after and nothing has ever been too much of an ask.

We truly had the most perfect day, a day we’ll never forget and everything we had ever dreamed of.
We’re so grateful to have had the events team, it felt like we just had friends there on the day.

Our experience with Carbis Bay Weddings was amazing in every aspect. They were very supportive during our planning phase and quickly answered all our questions or adapted to our needs. We were always treated very professionally though never felt like just “one of their couples”. Our Wedding Day and the event the night before was literally a dream come true! The team organized everything perfectly one the day, including setting up decorations we brought ourselves, exactly the way we wanted. The food was delicious and the service didn’t lack anything. Everything went so smoothly and we could really enjoy our day with our loved ones. The location (we chose the Wedding Hut) is so stunning and we loved the feeling of being right at the beach, but with a little privacy. All in all we cannot recommend Carbis Bay enough, not just because of the beauty of the location itself, but also because of the whole package you get with it. From start to finish we couldn’t fault anyone in the weddings team at Carbis Bay!
From first look around we knew it was where we wanted to get married and was pleasantly surprised to find there was different venues within the estate itself to suit different budgets. We went for the wedding hut as the package that was offered, suited our budget the most but we also loved how close it is to the beach.
The team have always been quick to respond to emails with any questions we may have had so we really felt like we knew what was happening despite living nearly 300 miles away.
Because we’re not local, we didn’t know where to start with suppliers but found everything we needed at the wedding showcase back in March 25. We’re so pleased we made the effort to go to this as all our suppliers were incredible and there was so much choice on offer and was great to see the venue dressed for a wedding as we’d only seen it as a restaurant previously.
We chose the beach BBQ menu for our wedding breakfast and we’re so glad we did. Every single one of our guests commented on how good the food was, the choice available and even guests with complex dietary requirements were looked after well. No one was hungry! We couldn’t actually try this menu at our tasting but so pleased we didn’t let this put us off because it was amazing 😍 the canapés were also delicious.
We got married early April so the weather was always going to be hit and miss. We weren’t sure whether to commit to an outdoor ceremony or an indoor ceremony and all the team were so good easing our anxieties about this. We decided on outdoor the morning of the wedding but were reassured that if it started raining they would move everything indoors so this really helped and made the decision a lot less stressful for us.
Everything was set up perfectly for the wedding breakfast with minimal instructions from us (we’re not very organised) but we trusted they’d know what they were doing and where best to put everything seeing as they know the venue best and they really delivered. We were so so happy with how it all turned out, everything came together perfectly along with our beautiful flower decorations from Anna Sawle at wedding flowers in Cornwall. It looked absolutely perfect!
At the end of the night we didn’t have to sort anything out either, everything was cleared for us and we just had to go collect all our stuff at our convenience the next day.
We had such a fabulous day, our wedding was everything we wanted it to be, and more! We’re so pleased we picked Carbis bay as our venue and can’t wait to return to celebrate anniversaries in years to come! Can’t thank the team enough for making our big day so very special.
