We feel most privileged to have had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding on 10th September 2025 at the unbelievably beautiful Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate.
It was truly everything we had dreamed of and more!
From start to finish, every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine warmth.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning, creating the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The food was exceptional - beautifully presented and delicious. All staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcome and cared for. Their attention to detail and friendly professionalism made the day completely stress free.
The events team Ria, Sofia, Abi and Phoebe (and of course Nicole too) are such amazing people who we hold the greatest respect for. Despite how busy they are through the wedding season, they have the ability to make you and your wedding day feel so very special.
A special mention also to the wonderful hotel pianist Mark Clapp who we booked to play for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. His elegant music added such a magical touch. He even sourced and played a piece of music during our ceremony that was previously unknown to him for which we are so grateful.
Genuinely, everything exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a more dedicated team to make our wedding day so memorable.

Carbis Bay Hotel is an incredible venue that we would 100% recommend! We chose the wedding hut and had a beautiful ceremony on the decking next to the venue. It's a light airy space with stunning views. It was wonderful to have the decking outside for our guests to spill out to, as well as be right on the beach for beach games and photos.

The events team Sofia, Phoebe, Abi and Ria are all fantastic, with so many extra unexpected touches - before, during and after. They always responded quickly to our many questions. We had great flexibility over our menus - over 50% of our food choices were vegetarian and a significant number of dishes gluten free. The food was delicious and plentiful.

We used the Godrevy room for pizza the night before our wedding, which worked really well and was a great way to spend more time with our guests before the big day.

We've now stayed at Carbis bay hotel and the Gannet Inn on 3 separate occasions - initial visit, food tasting and then for the actual wedding. On all 3 occasions we have had incredible service, lovely staff, and amazing food. The spa is an absolute must.

On reflection of our wedding day there are only 2 things that we would request differently next time. The Carbis bay team were so efficient the entire day, especially turning the room around from lunch to evening, but unfortunately it seems items from the tables were discarded, e.g. we would have liked to keep our table place names, the table names etc as small mementoes. We are also not sure if any of our unused wedding favours were discarded also. It didn't occur to us to ask before the day, and it certainly didn't occur to us on the day.
The second thing was the presentation of the cake. It wasn't cut up particularly nicely, and unfortunately it seems the layers were mixed, even though one layer was gluten free. We are not sure if our cake supplier provided labels for the cake or not.

Despite these 2 tiny things, we had the most fantastic time. We are hugely grateful to the events team and all the staff who made the wedding run incredibly smoothly. We didn't have to worry about any logistics on the day, which allowed us to enjoy the whirlwind of a day to the max!

On 5th September 2025 we were lucky enough to have our wedding at Carbis Bay Hotel on the beautiful beach in the sunshine, and we can honestly say it was everything we hoped for.

Throughout the entire process, Ria, Abi, Sofia and Phoebe from the events team made us feel completely at ease and supported, every detail was handled with professionalism and genuine care. A special thank you goes to them for working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, with great attention to detail and a calm and friendly manner always. They made us and our little girl feel so special and we are forever grateful to everyone at Carbis Bay who was a part of our time there.

The setting is breathtaking, Carbis Bay is and always will be our special place and one of the most beautiful UK locations, with the views of the beach and sea giving us the most magical backdrop to our ceremony and photographs which also enabled us to have some quiet time to enjoy together throughout the day.

Our guests had nothing but praise for the venue, the food, and the atmosphere. The wedding breakfast was also delicious with everyone getting their choices without issue.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Carbis Bay Hotel gave us memories we’ll treasure forever and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special wedding venue.

The venue is unreal, everyone can see that but what made our 3 day wedding weekend at Carbis bay hotel beyond perfection was the team! They truly worked to give us all we dreamed of. They were exceptional at finding a way to say yes! We had a welcome bbq Friday, wedding sat, and brunch Sunday - The food was fantastic all weekend, all our guests commented on it.I was really picky about the menu and the team were so accommodating and made me feel like it was no bother! The entire weekend ran so smoothly and the wedding team were so kind! Even when we came up with a crazy plan to all jump into the sea at midnight, they worked to get 50 towels for us! It really was all the little things they did that made the weekend everything we dreamed of and more. It was worth every penny and they gave us memories that make our hearts so full! While they do a lot of weddings, they truly make you feel like yours is the only one!

Our wedding at Carbis Bay Beach Club was nothing short of exceptional from beginning to end.

The stunning location, with its breathtaking views of the beach and bay, set the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The events team’s attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring everything was perfect and dream-like.

The food was outstanding, and the entertainment organized by your team—including the “Singing Waiters” and the “Take a Chance on Us” Abba tribute band—made for an unforgettable party and celebration of our special day.

We had a small wedding of just 15 in the Godvery room. Even though we were in a hotel it felt so private as we had our own space which was just ours along with a terrace that overlooked Carbis Bay. All the staff were so helpful and kind and even had pizzas specially made for our 3 child guests. As we had a tight budget the events team set the room up for us for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening. They let us use there sound system so we could play our own dinner music and party music in the evening. Everything just felt so special.

We had the most incredible experience at Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate for our wedding. With only 11 weeks to plan, we opted for a small, intimate celebration with our closest family in the Pavilion and Spa Gardens, followed by private dining in the Godrevy Room. From the very beginning, the team’s positive and welcoming attitude made everything feel easy and stress-free.

Carbis Bay has always been a special place for our family, we’ve been visiting for years, and it’s where we got engaged, so it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The stunning views over the bay made the day feel even more magical, and the setting provided the most beautiful backdrop for such an intimate celebration.

Sofia and Phoebe were absolute stars in the lead-up to our big day, always approachable, warm and quick to respond. They shared trusted supplier contacts and answered every question with such patience and reassurance. There support took all the pressure off and allowed us to genuinely enjoy the planning process rather than stress about it.

On the day itself, we were lucky enough to have Phoebe as our wedding coordinator. Her attitude and professionalism were exceptional. She was calm, friendly, and proactive, nothing was too much trouble. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and the whole day ran seamlessly. I completely trusted her with setting up the table in the Godrevy Room, and what she created was absolute perfection.


While Carbis Bay is not the cheapest venue, it still met our budget requirements because we chose a small, intimate wedding. And honestly, the team’s polished service, attentive approach, and the outstanding quality of the food more than justified the price. We opted for the traditional wedding breakfast and couldn’t have been happier with what we got, beautifully presented and more importantly delicious, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Everything felt special and carefully considered, and we couldn’t fault a single aspect of the experience.

We feel so grateful to the entire team at Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate. Their warmth, professionalism, and “nothing is too much trouble” approach gave us not only a stunning wedding day, but also a truly stress-free experience. If you are considering booking Carbis Bay for your wedding venue, DO IT! From the moment we visited and viewed the beach hut we knew it was our venue and booked that day, the location right on the beach with the view is stunning and we knew whatever the weather the venue would be beautiful as it works both indoors and out!

We then had the added bonus of the incredible events team. I have spoken to all of the team along the way and they are all fantastic. They respond to any queries really quickly and you feel as if nothing is ever too much to ask for. They offer a range of packages to suit a range of budgets and compared to other venues we viewed we felt what is included in the package is excellent value for money. Also with the package so much stress from planning is taken away as so much is included in the package and so many good options to choose from. They even made us a mocktail to match one from our engagement holiday for cocktail hour.
The team and Carbis Bay treated us like royalty from start to finish, we have made so many good memories throughout the planning process, enjoyed an amazing complimentary food tasting and when we arrived for the wedding they went above and beyond for us and we have never felt more looked after. On the day if we were busy with photos etc they made sure to save us canapés and drinks which is additional touches which did not go unnoticed. All of our guests had the best time too and were being well looked after.

If you are looking for a stress free, beachy, beautiful wedding day with delicious food, drink and great accommodation we would highly recommend, we cannot thank all the team enough for helping us execute our perfect wedding day and we will forever be grateful to them and can’t wait to visit again soon 💕

"Wow, what a venue! From the moment we saw the view at Carbis Bay, we knew it was the perfect place for our beach-feel wedding. The wedding team instantly put us at ease and were so open to our ideas—even the crazy ones! They were genuinely excited to help us make our dreams a reality.

The planning and organization on our wedding day were absolutely top-notch. The food was amazing, and the bar staff kept our guests perfectly "fuelled" throughout the celebration! Honestly, the day couldn’t have been more perfect, despite the rain. The team was so quick to assist everyone with umbrellas and helped move everything inside seamlessly. The whole day was a breeze, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team.

Tristan and I knew we wanted to get married on the Cornish Coast. We saw six venues and none of them came close to the Carbis Bay Estate.

From the moment we pulled into the car park we were blown away. Next we were met by the wonderful Sofia, who demonstrated that the stunning views, venues and rooms were matched with equally as impressive service. Throughout the whole process we continued to be comforted by the warmth and professionalism of the events team; Ria, Abi, Phoebe and Sofia. On our Wedding weekend itself and from contact since, they all showed genuine care and went above and beyond to make it exceptional. We could not be more grateful to you all.

The rest of the staff at the estate were also fantastic and they really elevated our experience and our guests' experience. Special mention to the kitchen and bar team because the food, wine and cocktails are incredible. This being such an important element of our wedding, we were amazed by the quantity and quality.

It's hard to put into words how highly we'd recommend the Carbis Bay Estate and we're already missing it terribly. It has our hearts!

Even when things went wrong leading up to the wedding with a last minute change in food vendor, you somehow managed to take control of the situation and communicate with us thoroughly and quickly, which led you to turning a problem into a solution that was somehow even better than what we had originally planned. Making things even more special than we could have ever imagined. Above and beyond is an understatement.

Absolutely everything; from the food, to the service, to the organisation of guests on the day, was more than perfect in every way.

Truly blown away, I want to say a special thank you to Nicole and Ria, my fairy god mothers, for your attention to detail, care, and at times even friendship. You really did smash it. I know how much effort you put into it all, it really shows. And doesn’t go unnoticed.

You’ve allowed us to have the best day of our lives so far, and even some of our guests feel the same, now isn’t that special.

This is the most beautiful place to get married at in Cornwall! Myself and Rob got married in the Godrevy room on the 01/07/2025.
From the start Abi, Ria, Sofia & Phoebe were phenomenal, they answered any questions/queries quickly and were just as excited about our wedding as us whenever we spoke to them. I had the pleasure of meeting Abi for our first look around and I instantly felt at ease/like I knew her for years! Our day was made so special by the incredible staff that made it. I didn’t catch their names but all our guests were blown away by them. We were honestly treated like royalty. The food is absolutely gorgeous and we were so lucky to have a taster day last year, we loved it!!
We had the most beautiful day afterwards spending time just the two of us and making full use of the spa. It was incredible and so relaxing. We had the most amazing intimate day with those closest to us and can’t recommend this place enough, yes it’s gorgeous there but the staff are what make it.

From the moment we met with Sophia from the events team we were confident we had chosen a great venue and team to be part of our Wedding day.

We booked 14 months in advance and during this time we visited Carbis a few times to meet vendors have pre wedding dates/weekends to soak up the vibe. Each time we usually met one of the events team who were always fully briefed and invested in our day.

Ria, Abbie, Phoebe and Sophia were nothing short than delightful to deal with and nothing was too much trouble.
