Hi I’m Simon, I have been a chef for past 23 years and still finding it exciting. My journey with cooking started many years ago when I was a small kid spending time in the kitchen with my mother. I Always wanted to try new things and the kitchen was a place where I could let my imagination run free. Being a chef is a form of art in my opinion, using ingredients like different colours to make beautiful painting on your plate. Never finished culinary school, and don’t think that’s a problem when you passionate about something and you give your 100% to achieve it. I have been here at Hotel Du Vin for almost 5 years now, may feel like a long time but in the kitchen every day is different to the previous one. If you are a fan of great French classics, relaxing atmospheres and good wines come pay a visit. I’m sure you won’t regret it.
