The bickley itself was perfect. The food, the rooms, the staff, everything. I have not a single fault to say. It was closed to the public for us and we had all the rooms the night before our wedding the night of the wedding making it more easy and relaxed for family and friends. The staff were responsive, ano helpful, nice and just all round fab. The value for money was the most stand out factor for us. Thank you everyone involved it made such a perfect dream come true.

We recently got married at Bickley Mill and did a relaxed Sunday package, we didn’t want anything to formal and it was perfect for what we wanted. We were so lucky with the weather which meant we got to have an outside ceremony which was beautiful and required minimal decoration as it was perfect how it was. The team were fabulous and we thought it was extremely good quality for the price. Would highly recommend.

Bickley Mill is a great venue - a truly magical place for our wedding. The grounds are perfectly landscaped, and the Miller's Room is beautifully decorated on its own, with plenty of chance to add your own touch.

What impressed us most was how smoothly the day ran thanks to the organisation happening behind the scenes. The staff go above and beyond so your day goes without a hitch and you can actually relax, it was like they weren't even there, but everything just flowed. We weren't overly worried going in, but both of us (and our guests) were amazed at how the day turned out better than we could have imagined.

The food was fantastic - we're big foodies ourselves - and we and our guests stayed in all the rooms, which were comfortable and lovely, with a nice breakfast and very attentive staff in the morning.

We had the most wonderful wedding day and couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. The layout was beautiful and worked perfectly for our day, and the fairy lights created such a magical atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic and received so many compliments from our guests.

The accommodation was excellent too, and all of our guests commented on how comfortable the rooms were and how well they slept. I was especially grateful to the team for making every effort to get me into the bridal suite as early as possible. It really helped calm my nerves and allowed me to relax and enjoy getting ready for the day. The attention to detail and level of care shown by the staff was outstanding.

Everything was absolutely perfect, the venue, the staff, the food, communication, warmth friendly atmosphere. They can adapt to anything you want to do on your day. Made us feel 1000% relaxed.

There are simply no words that can truly capture how extraordinary The Bickley Mill Inn was as our wedding venue. Both of us talked of Bickley Mill even before our engagement and without a doubt it was the most important decision we made. From the moment we arrived a couple of years before our wedding, we knew we were somewhere special, but what they delivered went far beyond anything we could have imagined. No venue or service could simply compare to what we experienced at Bickley Mill.

The food was exceptional, not just “wedding good”, but genuinely unforgettable. Every single guest commented on how delicious it was, and we’re still hearing about it weeks later. It was absolutely brilliant so hats off to the chefs in the kitchen!

We got married towards the end of March using the exclusive luxury midweek package with a smaller number of guests (50) and Bickley was the most perfect venue! The team were wonderfully supportive and organised from securing our date right through to the wedding itself, and had endless patience for our slightly chaotic disorganised selves! We were able to arrange a pre-wedding meal with our guests the night before with everyone staying over, and then breakfast for everyone the morning after the wedding, which was such a great opportunity to spend more time together. Bickley itself looks beautiful and needs very little decoration to bring it to life, as the whole vibe is very cosy, rustic and laid-back.

We all felt so comfortable and at home during our stay and the team went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had what they needed and that Cameron and I didn't need to worry about anything. The day ran like clockwork and the team guided us through each part without feeling overbearing! The food at each part of our 3 day celebration was excellent and service ran really smoothly. They'd also provided an excellent list of recommended vendors who were all amazing and absolutely worth the recommendations. We also felt that Bickley provided fantastic value for money after exploring lots of other venues in Devon and Cornwall before finding Bickley.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Bickley to anyone wanting a countryside wedding with a relaxed and stress-free vibe - we will definitely be back to celebrate in future! :)

We had our wedding at Bickley Mill on 15/11/2025 and it was the most incredible day! The staff have been amazing throughout the wedding planning process, answering any questions we’ve had so promptly. The day ran so smoothly thanks to the lovely staff and we had such an amazing day. The venue itself was perfect! Even though it was winter we were still able to make use of the lovely decking area which looked gorgeous at night with the string lights on. The food was lovely and lots of guests complimented it. We also were able to have breakfast with our guests the next morning which was so nice, being able to all be together and reminisce on the night before. I couldn’t recommend Bickley Mill enough!

From the very first contact with Daisy, over there planning with Louise, our wedding day itself and until the day after, the whole team was fantastic throughout. The service was incredible and all our guests including non-english speakers felt very welcome and well looked after. The whole team supported us throughout all enquiries, ensured that we stayed within the time schedule and was incredible in restructuring the Millers Room twice in three hours from ceremony to breakfast to dance floor.

The Millers Room does not require a lot of decoration as it is a beautiful setting on its own. The white walls make the whole room look big and welcoming, while the fairy lights create a very homely atmosphere.

All our guests were talking for days how good the three course meal was and how smooth all courses were presented. The ‘Burger in a Box’ in the evening was also well received and complimented.

As somebody who has worked in the wedding industry as a professional photographer myself, I can only compliment how professional this venue has shown itself to be every step of the way.

Where do I start the team at Bickley are lovely .
From the first meeting with Daisy we felt comfortable and that it was the right place for us. For couples who want to have a beautiful setting with the space to feel natural and relaxed Bickley Mill is perfect. You can book all the accommodation or just one room, Our daughter and son in law wanted to have their German Shepherd as part of their day and the guys and girls at Bickley welcomed him to the whole day from start to lights out, Bickley was the ONLY place we found willing to make this happen for them.
The rooms are lovely and a very good nights sleep was had by those of us that stayed.
The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful for photographs.
We were lucky enough to use their new outside ceremony area which was lovely.
The wedding meal was served efficiently and the food was first class
All in all we couldnt fault the team, the setting or the menu
