We recently got married at Bickley Mill; an absolutely fantastic wedding venue- so beautiful 💍 The service was exceptional, and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the day. The food was delicious and our guests had a fabulous time!

There are simply no words that can truly capture how extraordinary The Bickley Mill Inn was as our wedding venue. Both of us talked of Bickley Mill even before our engagement and without a doubt it was the most important decision we made. From the moment we arrived a couple of years before our wedding, we knew we were somewhere special, but what they delivered went far beyond anything we could have imagined. No venue or service could simply compare to what we experienced at Bickley Mill.

The setting itself is breathtaking: warm, intimate, and full of character, with the kind of natural beauty that instantly puts you at ease. This was the place for us! Bickley Mill created the perfect backdrop for the most important day of our lives.

The food was exceptional, not just “wedding good”, but genuinely unforgettable. Every single guest commented on how delicious it was, and we’re still hearing about it weeks later. It was absolutely brilliant so hats off to the chefs in the kitchen!

But what made our experience truly magical was the staff. Every member of the team was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They didn’t just host our wedding- they cared for it. We got married towards the end of March using the exclusive luxury midweek package with a smaller number of guests (50) and Bickley was the most perfect venue! The team were wonderfully supportive and organised from securing our date right through to the wedding itself, and had endless patience for our slightly chaotic disorganised selves! We were able to arrange a pre-wedding meal with our guests the night before with everyone staying over, and then breakfast for everyone the morning after the wedding, which was such a great opportunity to spend more time together. Bickley itself looks beautiful and needs very little decoration to bring it to life, as the whole vibe is very cosy, rustic and laid-back.

We all felt so comfortable and at home during our stay and the team went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had what they needed and that Cameron and I didn't need to worry about anything. The day ran like clockwork and the team guided us through each part without feeling overbearing! The food at each part of our 3 day celebration was excellent and service ran really smoothly. They'd also provided an excellent list of recommended vendors who were all amazing and absolutely worth the recommendations. We also felt that Bickley provided fantastic value for money after exploring lots of other venues in Devon and Cornwall before finding Bickley.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Bickley to anyone wanting a countryside wedding with a relaxed and stress-free vibe - we will definitely be back to celebrate in future! :)

From start to finish we couldn’t fault Bickley mill! The planning process was easy and they helped with everything. The day itself was incredible! Guests said the food was incredible and they couldn’t fault it. I would 100% recommend Bickley mill as a wedding venue - it was lush!

We had our wedding at Bickley Mill on 15/11/2025 and it was the most incredible day! The staff have been amazing throughout the wedding planning process, answering any questions we’ve had so promptly. The day ran so smoothly thanks to the lovely staff and we had such an amazing day. The venue itself was perfect! Even though it was winter we were still able to make use of the lovely decking area which looked gorgeous at night with the string lights on. The food was lovely and lots of guests complimented it. We also were able to have breakfast with our guests the next morning which was so nice, being able to all be together and reminisce on the night before. I couldn’t recommend Bickley Mill enough!

From the very first contact with Daisy, over there planning with Louise, our wedding day itself and until the day after, the whole team was fantastic throughout. The service was incredible and all our guests including non-english speakers felt very welcome and well looked after. The whole team supported us throughout all enquiries, ensured that we stayed within the time schedule and was incredible in restructuring the Millers Room twice in three hours from ceremony to breakfast to dance floor.

The Millers Room does not require a lot of decoration as it is a beautiful setting on its own. The white walls make the whole room look big and welcoming, while the fairy lights create a very homely atmosphere.

All our guests were talking for days how good the three course meal was and how smooth all courses were presented. The ‘Burger in a Box’ in the evening was also well received and complimented.

As somebody who has worked in the wedding industry as a professional photographer myself, I can only compliment how professional this venue has shown itself to be every step of the way.

Where do I start the team at Bickley are lovely .
From the first meeting with Daisy we felt comfortable and that it was the right place for us. For couples who want to have a beautiful setting with the space to feel natural and relaxed Bickley Mill is perfect. You can book all the accommodation or just one room, Our daughter and son in law wanted to have their German Shepherd as part of their day and the guys and girls at Bickley welcomed him to the whole day from start to lights out, Bickley was the ONLY place we found willing to make this happen for them.
The rooms are lovely and a very good nights sleep was had by those of us that stayed.
The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful for photographs.
We were lucky enough to use their new outside ceremony area which was lovely.
The wedding meal was served efficiently and the food was first class
All in all we couldnt fault the team, the setting or the menu

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding at Bickley Mill. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamlessly organised, and the venue itself is absolutely beautiful.

The location is perfect, peaceful and scenic, offering a stunning backdrop for photos. The wedding planners went above and beyond, making sure every detail was taken care of so we could enjoy the day without a worry.
The staff were incredibly accommodating, always with a smile and ready to help, which really made the experience feel personal and special. The venue was well worth the cost, excellent value for money considering the breathtaking setting and the level of service provided. The whole day felt effortless, and we truly felt like we were the centre of attention.

The only minor downside was the accommodation situation. With a large bridal party and family staying the night before, it was a bit of an inconvenience to have to move rooms in the middle of hair and makeup. It wasn’t ideal, but honestly, that was the only hiccup in an otherwise perfect day.

All in all, Bickley Mill gave us the wedding of our dreams, beautiful, well-organised, and full of personal touches. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful country venue with top-notch service.

We had our wedding at Bickley in August 2025. I cannot recommend the venue enough! We chose the venue because we wanted a rustic "barn style" wedding with accommodation on-site... without the extortionate price tag. The planning process was excellent - the team were responsive and reassuring throughout. Early on, we asked if they could recommend any local suppliers, which is how we found our fabulous photographer, and we booked other excellent suppliers at their wedding fair.

On the day, all staff were absolutely lovely and so many guests commented on what a perfect venue is was. The food was exceptional and the accommodation was well-liked by all of the guests - I love that it all gets renovated every January so it all feels fresh within a rustic setting.

Zero regrets in choosing the Bickley Mill Inn as our wedding venue. We'll be back every year to celebrate our anniversary!
