Hotel Wedding Venues in Devon

We held our wedding at the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel on a Saturday in mid-September and cannot speak highly enough of the service and assistance we received from their events lead, Charlotte Allen, and the wider hotel staff team. The hotel is beautifully set just inland from the beach, on the Sidmouth coast and a stone’s throw from the lovely Connaught Gardens. Its gardens and the outdoor terrace area have the coastline as a wonderful backdrop; indeed, it was the perfect setting for outdoor ceremony and we were fortunate to enjoy warm sunshine. We jointly planned the day’s ceremony and subsequent celebration with Charlotte and our celebrant Lisa Craig lisa@ceremonieswithlisa.co.uk. They listened to our aspirations and ideas, but also provided helpful, timely advice and worked with us in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding to pull together the plan for our big day. Well organised and attentive, Charlotte and the hotel team were faultless in their preparation and simply exceptional on the day; no detail or concern was ignored or forgotten, nothing was too much trouble and the hotel team were actively finessing each detail throughout the day, having set the conditions in the day’s prior. We and importantly our 90 or so guests, a number of whom choose to stay at the hotel for one or more nights, had a fantastic day celebrating our wedding and we are hugely grateful to the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel team for their hard work in setting the conditions for it being a most special and memorable weekend.

We got married at The Bedford Hotel in October 25. From the first day we went for a viewing all the staff were so friendly. Hannah and Kay helped us every step of the way through the planning process and the day went seamlessly. As big food lovers, the wedding breakfast was incredible and we just had such a fantastic day all round.

From the first time we saw Two Bridges, we knew this was the venue for us, it's absolutely stunning inside and out. Nothing was too much for the staff and the day ran so smoothly because of their attentiveness. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the bridal suite was perfect. I will forever recommend this venue.

Our day was beautiful and we couldn't have hoped for more, even the rain managed to hold off until after the photos. Shirna and all of her staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, they all helped make our day as perfect as it could have been. The service and the food was superb, with a beautiful view from the restaurant and cosy communial rooms to relax in. It really is a beautiful hotel, in beautiful surroundings with lovely rooms and great staff. Thank you all.

We chose to have our wedding reception at the Duke of Cornwall in Plymouth February last year. The service we received was fantastic! The food was amazing and they made everyone feel so welcome right from the word go. We were very impressed for what we got for the money and had a fabulous day enjoyed by all. Our thanks to the Duke of Cornwall for making our dream day come true!! xx

Our day was magical ✨️, including the weather 👌 Lou and the team went above and beyond to meet all our needs. All questions/queries were answered swiftly and everyone pulled together to help with last minute preparations on the morning. The day went to plan and lou was available for any reassurance needed...... plus, to add a special surprise to our ceremony room 😍 Mahoosive thank you 😊 Would definitely recommend having your special day at The Cedars.

Salcombe Harbour Hotel was the perfect venue choice for our wedding and the views from the Hotel are absolutely stunning. The staff are amazing and special thanks goes to Jessica, the resident wedding planner, who we could not have done it without - thanks to her, every plan we had made came off far better than imagined and her attention to detail is incredible. In fact, planning our wedding was the easy part, the hard bit was seeing it all come to an end. The food served throughout the day was incredible and our guests kept saying how delicious the food was. We will be forever grateful to Jessica and the team for hosting our wedding and making it so perfect.

The Osborne Hotel team are fantastic! The attention to detail is impeccable. Our day ran without a hitch all thanks to the work and dedication behind the scenes. They were always on hand if we needed anything, no matter how small. Questions repeatedly answered. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly highly recommend for your big day!
