Country Wedding Venues in North West - England

We visited a variety of venues at various price points before our visit to Stirk House. We wanted somewhere to spend the entire day, so no worries around transport from A to B or timings to consider. Stirk House is beautiful and the team that work there are polite, welcoming and happy you can see it in the way they work and their attentiveness to not only the bride & groom to be, but with every person there. Before we booked the venue, we attended a couple of the taster days to ensure the food met our expectations. We needn’t have worried it was all delicious. Dave, master of ceremonies is amazing. We had guests attending with autism and others requiring wheelchair access. Dave walked us through the accessibility routes that could be taken and consideration he would make towards our nephew. The day was perfect in every way with everything, seamlessly, running like clockwork, again mainly due to Dave managing us and our guests through the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and outside for fireworks. Stirk House were also attentive to our suppliers, ensuring they were set up as required and they were kept refreshed throughout the day. Little touches we provided such as the welcome mirror, seating plan and basket of confetti were set up and placed to our requirements. We would wholeheartedly recommend Stirk House and intend on visiting regularly knowing what a gem we’ve found.

The girls are amazing! They made our wedding day so so special! Joanne and Tanya are a credit to the team! Dont let any one else take away their spotlight! From selling the wedding to whole set up of it perfect in every way! Listen to us and gave us everything and more that we wanted for our unique wedding! Even with a light bright wedding venue, with help from them we created the addams family nightmare! Thank you!

We had our wedding at Broadoaks Country House, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They truly couldn’t have done enough for us! A HUGE shout-out to Taz, Sian, Mikey and Lewis — you made our day so personal, so seamless, and so completely perfect. Every detail was handled with such care and genuine warmth. The food was incredible, the décor was stunning, and the staff were exceptional throughout. We honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more. It was the most amazing wedding and truly the best day of our lives. Thank you, Broadoaks, for giving us a day we will cherish forever. 💛

Crewe Hall is absolutely lovely, especially interior of the building is stunning! A lot of nice spots for wedding photo shoots. Our wedding organiser provided by Crewe Hall was brilliant and extremely helpful. She was very knowledgeable and very responsive to communications. Our requests were also accommodated. Staff were very polite and professional. We also stayed in Crewe Hall pre-and post wedding and happy with the rooms and services provided. It has been a very nice and memorable experience and would recommend Crewe Hall to the future couples.

I work in the wedding industry myself and I can honestly say I have never met a wedding coordinator as amazing as Sophie. Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail and attentiveness throughout the process & on the day was phenomenal. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL!!! Rooted in family history and gives an incredible country feel. Couldn’t recommend this venue anymore! We are so lucky to our wedding memories at The Parkes

Combermere Abbey was outstanding from start to finish, the venue is so gorgeous and the gardens are kept beautifully. They are really good for being quite an all inclusive venue including the photobooth and things like linen, cutlery and decorations in the venue price, which was very competitive in comparison to other venues nearby, and as we planned the wedding fairly quickly (in around 5 months) there were also some discounts off the venue fee and catering packages. The food was absolutely amazing and everyone complimented it. They also had gorgeous cottages on site which was really great for me as I had a lot of family and friends travelling from further away. The North Wing that we got to stay in the night of the wedding was also a real slice of luxury! The team at Combermere were so lovely and friendly, there were lots of meetings leading up to the wedding where they really listened to our requirements and helped us plan our perfect day. They were also wonderful on the day and helped with everything we needed. I would recommend anyone to have their wedding at Combermere!

Quite simply our wedding day at Linthwaite was perfect! We and all of our guests had the most amazing weekend which went without a hitch and that is completely down to the professionalism and hard work of the entire Linthwaite team. Every one of our guests have commented on how beautiful the hotel is and what great service they received. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they did everything they could to ensure that every one of the guests had a comfortable stay. We chose Linthwaite as our wedding venue having visited a number of hotels in the Lakes and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Down to the smallest details, everything throughout the whole weekend was spot on. From the day we booked we had just 12 weeks to plan the big weekend and Sarah was fantastic during this entire process. She put in so much hard work to ensure that every detail was covered which was, without a doubt, one of the main reasons that the weekend felt so effortless for us. The venue, staff, food, service and of course the views made Linthwaite and our wedding such a special memorable day. We only wish we could do it all over again!

West Tower was everything we wanted and more for our wedding day. From our initial visit, through to the day itself and even beyond, we couldn’t have asked for more. Communication was clear and effective, ensuring we were happy with our choices and we hadn’t forgotten anything. All the staff were attentive, leading to the day running smoothly and I felt confident knowing they had everything in hand. The planning process was uncomplicated and left us reassured that we would have the day we wanted. Guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, the comfort of the rooms and how good the food was. Could not have asked for more and would highly recommend.

Having the whole venue to yourselves really does matter, it’s incredible, we had the main room set up for evening as we got married in a church first. We still got ready here with being able to use an apartment that’s attached which is very spacious and didn’t feel small at all with 7 bridesmaid, 2 make up artists and 1 hair stylist. We paid for the alpacas to be at the front to arrive guests and any catering or suppliers you hire they are very accommodating to them and their needs and want to help on the best way possible.
