Stirk House Hotel Wedding Review We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Stirk House Hotel. From the very start of the process, all the way through to our wedding day, the whole team went above and beyond to make everything feel special. We stayed the night before the wedding and had a meal in the restaurant with our friends and family. Even though the wedding team were already busy preparing for the big day, they greeted everyone at the door, made sure we were comfortable and went out of their way to make the evening special. They even set up the restaurant perfectly for our meal, and the whole team were exceptional. Then came the wedding day, and somehow they made everything look effortless. The whole day ran incredibly smoothly, and we never once felt like we had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. The wedding team were always there when we needed them, but never made us feel like we had to think about anything other than enjoying our day. A special mention has to go to Oliver and the whole bar team, who were absolutely fantastic. I honestly don’t think I was ever without a drink in my hand! They were friendly, attentive and brilliant throughout the day. They worked incredibly hard and always did it with a smile. Dave, our Master of Ceremonies, was also brilliant. He kept everything running smoothly, made sure our guests were entertained and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. He played a huge part in making the day feel relaxed, fun and enjoyable for everyone. We also want to give a massive thank you to Imogen, Shannon, Lucy, Helen, Molly and Michelle. From the very beginning of our wedding planning right through to the wedding day itself, they were absolutely exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, professional and genuinely seemed to care about making our wedding the best day possible. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and that made such a difference. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the day knowing that everything was being taken care of. Stirk House was the perfect place for our wedding, and we cannot thank the entire team enough. From the first conversations and planning, to the meal with our family and friends the night before, and finally the wedding day itself, everything was amazing. We would wholeheartedly recommend Stirk House to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The venue is beautiful, but it is the people who make it truly special.

We cannot thank the Holland Hall team enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The outdoor wedding setup was beautiful, and the atmosphere throughout the day was exactly what we had dreamed of. The BBQ was incredible — so many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Please pass on our compliments to everyone involved. The DJ was fantastic and played every song we requested, keeping the dance floor full all night and making the evening even more memorable. The staff and service throughout the entire day were exceptional. Everyone was friendly, professional, and so helpful, which made the whole experience completely stress-free for both us and our guests. Thank you again for helping create such a special and unforgettable day for us. We will always look back on it so fondly.

I work in the wedding industry myself and I can honestly say I have never met a wedding coordinator as amazing as Sophie. Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail and attentiveness throughout the process & on the day was phenomenal. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL!!! Rooted in family history and gives an incredible country feel. Couldn’t recommend this venue anymore! We are so lucky to our wedding memories at The Parkes

From the moment we stumbled across Stables Wedding Farm on Google, I knew we had to get married here! From enquiry to wedding day and beyond, Mark and Debs have been sensational. They have been with us through every step of planning, always eager to help. They have a beautiful 'something borrowed' catalogue which was great to look through and we used some of those things for our tables and to decorate around the venue. Mark and Debs make Stables Wedding Farm so personal to each couple, something that we didn't find when looking round other venues. The venue is nothing short of stunning, (we were lucky enough to have a sunny day but I know it would have been gorgeous in the rain as well!) and the farm animals make great guests! The bar is well priced and had a range of great cocktails. My husband wanted a local Leicester beer which they were also able to accommodate and have in a keg at the bar. A lovely touch was that the night before, Mark and Debs did a 'walk through' video of the venue as we'd set it up, meaning that we could see all of our efforts in a video before it was bustling with people. They were also super accommodating not only to us, but to guests regarding parking, getting a golf buggy up the hill (useful for disabled guests but also such a fun way to get up to the venue!), and to our band for getting set up before the ceilidh kicked off! We got the venue 48 hours before our wedding, which meant we could decorate in good time to avoid any pre-wedding stress. We stayed in the Hobbit houses with the hot tub the night after, and we didn't need to clean up until late the following day, which made the day after our wedding so much easier. If you are booking a wedding in the next few years - message Stables Wedding Farm ASAP (they are so good they're getting booked up!!) - you'll have the best day ever and you won't regret it!

We had our wedding at Broadoaks Country House, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They truly couldn’t have done enough for us! A HUGE shout-out to Taz, Sian, Mikey and Lewis — you made our day so personal, so seamless, and so completely perfect. Every detail was handled with such care and genuine warmth. The food was incredible, the décor was stunning, and the staff were exceptional throughout. We honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more. It was the most amazing wedding and truly the best day of our lives. Thank you, Broadoaks, for giving us a day we will cherish forever. 💛

Jack was amazing he came to our table and explained the special dish of the day venison it did not disappoint/. Sara was waiting on at our wedding in the day and night and could not do enough to help 10 out of 10 / Georgia / Emily wow what a team you have there they made the day and experience from start to finish nothing was a problem and on the wedding day they made us and all of our guests so at ease and special. We had our wedding at Crewe hall we stayed in the hotel for 3 night had breakfast and dinner from start to finish we had the best experience that we could of asked for the food and service was second to none

We held our daughter's wedding at Thornton Manor and it was, without doubt, the most wonderful day. Everything went like an absolute dream. We were delighted to be invited to a birthday function there last week. It brought back wonderful memories. I have to say the music room, where our daughter and son in law were married, looked as stunningly beautiful as ever. Well done, again, Philip and Di.

Combermere Abbey was the perfect wedding venue for us. We knew from the moment we walked in, that it was the venue for us. All of our guests were blown away with how beautiful it is. All of our guests went out of their way to say to us how amazing the staff and food were. We would love to say a massive thank you to Carol, she made sure on the day that we had everything we needed and went out of her way to make this happen. We really appreciated this especially as Carol hasn’t been working there for very long. We cannot fault any of the staff at Combermere Abbey, so thank you so much for making our day so special.

Quite simply our wedding day at Linthwaite was perfect! We and all of our guests had the most amazing weekend which went without a hitch and that is completely down to the professionalism and hard work of the entire Linthwaite team. Every one of our guests have commented on how beautiful the hotel is and what great service they received. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they did everything they could to ensure that every one of the guests had a comfortable stay. We chose Linthwaite as our wedding venue having visited a number of hotels in the Lakes and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Down to the smallest details, everything throughout the whole weekend was spot on. From the day we booked we had just 12 weeks to plan the big weekend and Sarah was fantastic during this entire process. She put in so much hard work to ensure that every detail was covered which was, without a doubt, one of the main reasons that the weekend felt so effortless for us. The venue, staff, food, service and of course the views made Linthwaite and our wedding such a special memorable day. We only wish we could do it all over again!

The minute we saw this beautiful venue we fell in love with the place, the house & setting is out of this world. The staff were incredible from start to finish, Sarah was so helpful in organising everything in the build up to our wedding & then Kim made every second of the day run like clockwork. Everybody absolutely loved the food & accommodation, so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! We will never forget our perfect day, thank you West Tower.
