We had our wedding at Alderley Edge Hotel in November 2025, and from start to finish, the team made everything feel seamless and stress-free.

A special thank you to Lucy, our wedding coordinator, who was incredibly helpful throughout the process. Her communication was excellent, and she made sure everything ran smoothly.

On the day, Andy was fantastic — professional, attentive, and always making sure our guests were well looked after.

The wedding package made planning so much easier, and the food was amazing — so much so that we’ll definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary!

On Saturday 1st of August our wedding was held at the Alderley Edge Hotel.
From the moment we looked around the venue last year and booked, everything was taken care of. Communication was excellent, everyone knew what was needed and when. Lucy was our main contact and she just organised everything for us hotel-wise. Nothing was too much trouble. Questions asked, questions answered quickly, nerves put at ease. We met with Lucy a few weeks before the wedding, to go over all the details, just to make sure everything was as perfect as possible.
On the day Lucy was on annual leave, which was a shame, as she had been with us all the way up to that point.
However, she left us in the very capable hands of Chris who was amazing. Everything was timed by him to perfection. Again nothing was too much trouble. The day ran so smoothly, it just put us at total ease. So that we could chat, mix and dance our way through the most perfect of days. We knew we didn’t have to worry about anything.
Breakfast on the Sunday morning again was fantastic. We were attended to by an older gentleman (can't remember his name) who chatted to us and all the guests. Unlike the young kids that never speak to anyone and can come across as rude, not saying they are at this hotel, but just in general wherever you seem to go these days. He was interested in us and paid attention, it was so refreshing. Ok some people are not morning people but I liked this.
Check out was easy simple and again chatty from a different generation of staff. Staff who smile and make you feel slightly important guest to the hotel and not an inconvenience.

Lucy, Jacob and Andy looked after us and our guests. They made sure the day went smoothly.
We had Lucy as a wedding coordinator. We had a delicious canapes and a 3 course meal, a ceremony room that doubled as a large dining space with a dance floor, a private bar/lounge and a beer garden. Lots of space for our guests and lots of opportunity for nice photos. This was a lot more for our money than what we got when we reviewed other venues in the south of Manchester. For us it was important that the venue was close to our home. We stayed in the Delamere Suite and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Also great for getting a small bridal party ready. They even provided breakfast for us all. All the guests loved the food and staff. Thanks Alderley Edge team for making our day so perfect!

From walking through the door at The Alderley Edge hotel, you are always greeted with a friendly smile, attentive staff and great service.
We wanted a small intimate wedding with immediate family and close friends. We chose the garden room with access to the outside. The venue caters for all sizes and the staff fulfilled all my personal needs.
They helped with menu choices, wine packages and all at a cost to fit in with our budget. They were very flexible and guided us on our choices. They made it very personal to our wishes..
All the staff were outstanding. So helpful and friendly. They guided us through our day.
The food was delicious and plentiful and got so many compliments from our guests.
The bedrooms are clean, bright and tidy and reasonably priced. The master suite was amazing.
Nothing was too much trouble. And everyone enjoyed themselves.
It was our perfect day.

From beginning to end, we could not fault the attention to detail of the staff. A brilliant venue with it's own private entrance, bar and beautiful sunny garden.
Catering was excellent, as was Anthony the DJ.

When we planned our wedding and chose The Alderley Edge Hotel, it was everything, and more we wanted it to be. We had an excellent experience at Alderley Edge Hotel, where we hosted our wedding in January 2026. The location was great for our guests, many of whom were travelling from around the UK and from elsewhere in the world. The food was delicious, and the support on the day was fantastic - we felt like we could just relax and enjoy our day. Would highly recommend!

Value for money was amazing, the staff went above and beyond both in the build up and the day itself, nothing was too much. Venue itself is beautiful and all the guests that stayed at the hotel were so impressed with the rooms and the service. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

I cannot begin to express how incredible The Alderley Edge Hotel was. From the first contact you genuinely feel like they want to help you. Nothing was too much for them and all of the staff were genuinely kind people.

Lucy, the Wedding Coordinator was absolutely brilliant and listened to every single request we had. Jordan, the Toastmaster, was absolutely fantastic and all of the reception team went above and beyond to make our special day special.

We recently celebrated our wedding on 25th May 2025 at The Alderley Edge Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, Linda, Lucy and the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and attention to detail.
Food: The menu was outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. Our guests are still talking about the quality and variety of the food. Dietary requirements were handled seamlessly, which made everyone feel cared for. We catered for Coeliac and Vegan guests.
Service: The service throughout the day was impeccable. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Drinks were topped up promptly, and the timing of each course was perfect. The team even managed to hold off the rain until all of photo's were taking in the beautiful gardens.
Professionalism: Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Lucy made it effortless. Communication was clear and timely, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. On the day, everything was organized to perfection, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.

From the minute we viewed the alderley edge hotel we new this was exactly how we envisioned our wedding from night before to day of ❤️ the staff were all so helpful and attentive the venue is just perfect so modern and the secret garden was perfect for photos and all our guests to gather. The front of the hotel also makes the perfect backdrop for photos 📸 the rooms are stunning and every single guest who stayed commented the Delamere suite was perfect for myself and my bridal party to get ready! On a whole i couldnt of found a more perfect venue 😍

Fantastic venue for our small family wedding. Arranging the wedding from Australia was not easy but the staff at Alderley Edge Hotel were very responsive and attentive to our needs. Having the ceremony and reception, accommodation for guests who were visiting from Australia was ideal. And the garden for drinks and photos was icing on the top. A huge Thank You to all the Alderley Edge Hotel staff.

From our very first visit with Linda Gregory back in November 2024, we felt welcomed and supported. The planning process was seamless thanks to Lucy’s outstanding communication, her prompt emails and reassuring phone calls were especially appreciated as we were organising everything from Essex, with the groom originally from Wilmslow. Her expertise made all the difference.

The food was absolutely lovely, particularly our wedding breakfast. As vegetarians, we were grateful for the thoughtful menu and the care taken during our tasting session. Our guests were equally impressed not only with the food, but with the hotel’s beautiful setting and convenient parking.
