It offers exclusive use of venue and the event spaces and lush gardens in which you can take photographs with loved ones.
Facilities and Capacity
The Willoughby Suite at Alderley Edge Hotel is the perfect location for your civil ceremony and wedding breakfast. The room has a private entrance that ensures you and your guests will have seclusion on the big day. The suite can accommodate 200 standing and 130 seated and has its own full bar. The Terrace room features large windows that look out over the garden and can seat 14. The Garden Room comes with patio doors which leads staight on to the terrace area and can hold up to 30 for a civil ceremony and intimate dinners. A large dining area with cathedral glass ceilings can also be at your disposal. Between the ceremony and wedding breakfast, you can take pictures in the exquisite gardens with friends and family.

Catering at Alderley Edge Hotel is prepared by our Head Chef will work closely with you and your partner to tailor your gourmet meal to your tastes and preferences. His cuisine never fails to impress and will be the talk of your guests for years to come. A Perfect Wedding Experience at Alderley Edge Hotel
Food: The menu was outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. Our guests are still talking about the quality and variety of the food. Dietary requirements were handled seamlessly, which made everyone feel cared for. We catered for Coeliac and Vegan guests.
Service: The service throughout the day was impeccable. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Drinks were topped up promptly, and the timing of each course was perfect. The team even managed to hold off the rain until all of photo's were taking in the beautiful gardens.
Professionalism: Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Lucy made it effortless. Communication was clear and timely, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. On the day, everything was organized to perfection, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.

The perfect day
Lucy the wedding co-ordinator was super professional, knowledgeable and friendly from start to end and the team on the day were incredible. Nothing was too much to ask and we were looked after so well on the day.
The venue is a beautiful boutique hotel with plenty opportunities for beautiful pictures. The food was outstanding. We had use of the master suite which had plenty of space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in.
The planning and organisation from the team was fantastic- we were able to just turn up, get ready and then relax and enjoy our perfect day.
If we had to do it again, we’d pick Alderley Edge Hotel every time.

The venue was very accommodating for my elderly mum, which put my mind at ease. The room looked beautiful, and big enough to accommodate 80 + guests.
So many of my guests commented on the food, which is so hard to please everyone but they did an amazing job 😃

Hello Brides and Grooms-to-be!
I’d love to introduce myself. My name is Lucy, I’m 40 years old and I have been working in the hospitality industry for over 22 years. During that time I’ve gained experience across many areas, giving me a real wealth of knowledge when it comes to weddings and events.
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of being involved in both planning and running weddings, supporting couples every step of the way right up to their big day. I’ve also been lucky enough to experience it myself, as I’m married too – so I completely understand just how exciting, stressful and sometimes overwhelming wedding planning can feel!
I’m here to help guide and support you from the very beginning of your journey through to the day itself, making the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
My biggest piece of advice? Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life, shared with the people who matter most. The day goes by so quickly, so try to relax, soak up every moment and enjoy it – and leave the stressing to everyone else!
