City Wedding Venues in North West - England

We had a fantastic wedding at Castlefield Rooms this September, the day ran so smoothly and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, they were really flexible about how we did things because of the weather so it didn’t make a difference at all to our day. I really appreciated how transparent the team were on everything including pricing and what’s actually included in the packages, there were no hidden charges and you get a lot included! Elicia was our wedding coordinator - she was brilliant and made every effort to ensure all the details were considered and had multiple meetings with us to finalise everything. She made us feel really calm and excited and was a great help in the run up to the day. The whole team at castlefield rooms were fab from when we originally viewed the venue to the day itself, to after when we were collecting our items from the day. Would really recommend for anyone looking for a wedding venue in central Manchester!

We were recently married here and I cant thank the Events team and staff enough, they went above and beyond, the food was amazing and the wedding was amazing value for what we had. I liked that they could offer something different to just a sit down one fit all meal for the wedding. We had afternoon tea which was a hit as it was different, the food in the evening was amazing also and there was a great variety. We received complementary upgrades. They helped so much in making the day run smoothly. Their recommended venue dresser and DJ were fab too, the ceremony room was dressed beautifully as was the room for the wedding breakfast. I wish I could do it all again as it was perfect from start to finish. Thank you Malmaison Liverpool and Leanne for making our day so special in so many ways.

Our wedding at King Street Townhouse was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel truly looked after, and the venue itself provided the perfect blend of modern luxury and classic character. Service was outstanding. The staff were warm, attentive, and impeccably organised, ensuring everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Their coordination made the day feel relaxed and seamless, allowing us to simply enjoy every moment. The food and drink were top-tier, with thoughtful options for guests and beautifully presented dishes that impressed everyone. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous - stylish, indulgent and a real haven. Overall, King Street Townhouse delivered an unforgettable experience. It’s a venue that not only looks incredible but feels intimate, personal and genuinely special. We couldn’t imagine celebrating our wedding anywhere else.

We booked Manchester Hall for our wedding venue for the 12th October 2024. The booking was made about 3/4 months before the actual date so we got a really good deal by taking a last availability date. This didn't leave us with much time to plan everything but it was all made very simple thanks to the staff here. Nothing was too much trouble; we had countless conversations and they were always available to answer any questions that we had. Taylor was our wedding planner and we cannot thank her enough for everything that she did for us. She was very thorough ensuring that every detail was covered and always very professional in how she handled everything. It was a very easy process from start to finish. The wedding day was perfect, we can't fault anything. The whole team made everything run so smoothly and we want to thank every single member of staff for that. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and especially how amazing the food was, both for the wedding breakfast and evening snack. To say that many members of the staff were so young, they were all highly professional and are a credit to the venue. It was very clear that they had done this many times before as it all came so natural to them. A special thank you to Heidi and Georgina for making the day run exactly how we wanted it too. Such lovely ladies. Our day here was wonderful and we 100% recommend Manchester Hall and their amazing team. Thank you ever so much.

Our original wedding should have been May 2020 but due to lockdown we had to delay. The hotel and staff were brilliant. We had no problems with the hotel they moved the date forward a year. Salford registrar dept had a lot of restrictions as covid measures were still in place. The hotel accommodated us by changing the room because we needed a certain amount of space per person. They had to lay out the chairs as the aisle had to be a certain width. The hotel couldn’t have done enough for us. Our wedding was very stripped back because we couldn’t order anything as we didn’t quite know if and when we would be able to go ahead. We picked our own menu. We had a few dietary requirements for a couple of guests which they worked around (soya and dairy intolerances). Everyone was attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We got married and headed outside to the bridge area for photographs.

We married here last June and they handled everything I wanted perfectly, the bar prices are better than a pub and they catered to every whim I had. They did a fabulous job on the day.

Honestly cannot recommend Blackpool a pleasure beach enough for hosting out 2021 wedding. Both us and our guests had an amazing day and all said it was the best wedding they had been too! Food was amazing, service outstanding and everything was taken care of for us, honestly a dream venue, thank you so much to the whole team!

i had my wedding here in october 2005 and they were all fabulous, the place is absoulty gorgeous and not over the top prices, any one wanting to get married in this area, this is definetly the place to go. i have been to other weddings in the area and non matched this venue.

We got married here in November - honestly we had our hearts set on this venue since the moment we got engaged and never felt the need to look anywhere else. From the initial meeting, through setting up the venue and the wedding itself, and even picking up our bits and bobs the next day, the staff at the Savoy Cinema were exceptional and the venue was absolutely lovely. Perfectly non traditional and obviously a great fit for movie lovers. The staff went out for their way to help us organise the day we wanted, from technically supporting us with our movie quiz and custom movie posters, to our attempts at running a few rounds of task master, our ceilidh band/dancing and finally even popping a film (silent with subtitles) on the big screen throughout the evening disco for those who'd run out of energy but weren't ready to call it a night quite yet. Everyone can't stop talking about how much fun they had and we especially, won't forget the incredible day we had. This venue was 100% the right decisions and we gave no regrets at all. If you're on the fence, do it! Thanks again! Stephanie x
