We recently celebrated our wedding at West Tower in Aughton on September 12, 2026, and I can't express how magical the day was! From the very beginning of our journey in February 2025, Sarah, our wedding co-ordinator, was a breath of fresh air. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made the planning process feel seamless. She was always there to listen to our needs and requirements, ensuring that everything was tailored to our vision.

On the big day, we were fortunate to have India as our wedding day event manager. She truly went above and beyond, paying meticulous attention to every detail. Her calm presence kept everything running smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy our day without a hitch. The service provided by her and the rest of the staff was simply impeccable – they worked tirelessly to cater to our every need, which made a huge difference in our experience. The food was out of this world. Catered exactly to ours and our guests needs.

West Tower itself is an exquisite venue with stunning views that took our breath away. The ambiance was perfect, creating a lovely backdrop for our ceremony and reception. All our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful everything looked and how wonderful the atmosphere was throughout the day.

It's evident that the staff at West Tower are dedicated to making every couple feel special, and they genuinely care about creating unforgettable memories. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and wholeheartedly rate our wedding day a perfect 10 out of 10.

The minute we saw this beautiful venue we fell in love with the place, the house & setting is out of this world. The staff were incredible from start to finish, Sarah was so helpful in organising everything in the build up to our wedding & then Kim made every second of the day run like clockwork. Everybody absolutely loved the food & accommodation, so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! We will never forget our perfect day, thank you West Tower.

Well what can we say about this absolutely stunning venue.
The beautiful place literally speaks for itself. The house is like you would see it in a magazine. Gorgeous. The stunning views are so picturesque and will make your special day wedding photographs beautiful. The food was absolutely exquisite and the feed back from our guests was overwhelming. ' The best food they had ever tasted' the presentation and the care taken was incredible. Especially for all guests who had dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff, well what can we say? They were 5* every second of the day! They were so kind and helpful and took care of every need that came to them. Each and every single member of the team no matter what part they played were absolutely incredible! Sarah and Kim who guided us from day one are the most lovely and caring people from the moment we met right up to when we left.
This beautiful place and incredible team are second to none and deserve all the awards and accolades they have and hope will gain many, many more.

Wow, I don’t even know how to put into words how amazing West Tower is, we got married here last weekend, from day 1 of booking we have felt so supported, had effective communication and no question or request was ever too much! Sarah, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing, so happy and uplifting with every meeting and message and honestly made the build up and experience absolutely perfect!

From staying on site the night before, regular check ins and knowing help was only a phone call away, to the supported provided by the events team on the day, especially Kim always checking in, that we are ok, giving support and advice and making the day run so smoothly, we could not of asked for anything better and wish already we could do the day all over again!

Thank you to everyone at West Tower for making our perfect day, one we will never forget!

West Tower is a fabulous place, it not only looks the part, the staff are really helpful and friendly. As a bride arrive in the suite the night before and the staff sort everything else out. My particular favourite was getting back to our room at 1230 following the wedding, and the staff had left a midnight snack ! Brilliant !


What a place, what a day and all on a decent budget!

Our experience with West Tower from start to finish, was incredible! Sarah was our wedding planner and ensured there were no stones left unturned. We were suitably informed about everything we needed to do beforehand and both the Cristal Suite (evening before accommodation) and the Grooms Lodge (area for grooms team on the day) are excellent additions to the wedding experience.
We were blessed to have Kim (Operations Manager) on the day of our wedding, Kim was incredibly attentive and could not have done more for both us and all of our guests. Kim ensured that we stuck to our time critical events and all of her team and all the staff were so nice, friendly and welcoming to all our guests. The service was truly exceptional.

The building is beautiful and offers real variety for the type of wedding you want to host, accommodation on site is great quality. Food was fantastic too with West Tower offering us the choice to tailor the menu to our own taste. We would highly recommend anyone considering getting married at this venue.

We got married at West Tower and had the absolute best day ever! Everyone kept saying during the day how it was such a lovely venue, so many nice places for guests to chill and amazing photo opportunities. As someone who usually is the organiser of events I didn't have to do a thing! Drinks and food were delivered to us throughout the day which we found very exciting. All the staff looked after us and our guests so well. All the food and drink was amazing! Everything went really smoothly throughout the whole day. Big thank you to Sarah from West Tower who answered all our questions along the way, Kim who took care of us on the day and to all the other staff who made everything so amazing from delivering burgers to guests on the dancefloor to dealing with the many drinks requests and then having everything tidied away neatly for us to take home the next day. Honestly just wish we could repeat the experience again! Would 1000% recommend having a wedding at West Tower.

We got married at West Tower over Christmas 2025. We booked our wedding with relatively short notice and honestly the whole planning process and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. Unlike some other venues it really feels like West Tower care about making your day special and you’re not just another one in a conveyor belt of weddings. Venue looked absolutely beautiful with their Christmas decorations and they couldn’t have been more accommodating of the children we had in attendance - even helping to set the leather lounge up as a toy room for kids to have some rest bite. Thank you so much for making our wedding fantastic. If you’re on the fence about booking - do it. And couldn’t recommend a winter wedding more.

The West Tower couldn’t have been any more quintessential for us. It is a very nice Victorian building with lots of picturesque surrounding greenery - all of which added to the magnificence of the photos we had taken on our wedding day.

The Cristal Suite for the bride and the lodge for the groom were both very memorable additions to the pre-wedding anticipations. The staff all did a brilliant job of ensuring that we were catered for as and when required. All very prompt and professional throughout.

The food was delicious and of good portion size to ensure everybody had enough.
The ceremonial room had just the right level of intimacy and space to ensure all guests could clearly see to the altar. It opened up to a ballroom in the evening which allowed for lots of dancefloor space as well as space for large tables for all the guests.
The atmosphere from the start of the day to the end of the night was that of pure joy and heightened positive emotions, which was all helped greatly by the sincere friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Our wedding was co-ordinated so fluidly and in a way that meant the staff blended in the background a lot of the time even though they were doing so much.

We initially contacted The West Tower and Maria was the first person we spoke to. She explained the various wedding packages very clearly and helped us to understand what was best suited to our budget.

Sarah was our wedding co-ordinator and was really informative with email responses as well as going through the order of events with the wedding. The planning stage was stress-free as we were able to focus on different segments of the wedding at various months of the year leading up to it. Having her present on our wedding day added a personal touch and we felt even more looked after as she congratulated us as we exited the ceremonial room - providing each of us with a drink of our choice. She was so very helpful and friendly to us.

Kim was our events manager and we met her the day prior to our wedding. She helped greatly with visualising the order of the day. She understood the plan very well and reiterated it to us really efficiently. We were able to ask any questions and take out time to think about any we may have had. Things such as where to stand during the groomsman speech helped to reduce any uncertainties. She also kept checking that we had enough to eat and drink, and very kindly left us a midnight snack in our room which was much needed after so much energy was used for our wedding. So much thought went into the planning and ensuring our day was just as perfect and magical as we hoped it would be.

We are also highly grateful to the rest of the staff who made sure none of our belongings got left behind and things were neatly packed up for us to take home.

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than West Tower for our wedding. From the moment we booked right through to the big day, everything was handled so professionally, smoothly, and with such genuine care and love!

The entire team were absolutely incredible. A huge thank you to yourself, Steph, Charlotte and every single member of staff – you all went above and beyond to make our day flawless. Even down to the bar staff, everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it made such a difference knowing we were in such safe hands.

The venue itself is stunning – beautifully maintained, full of character, and the perfect setting for both the ceremony and reception. Everything ran seamlessly on the day, which meant we could completely relax and just enjoy every moment. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was, from the atmosphere to the service.

West Tower’s recommended suppliers were also fantastic and played such a big part in making our day so special. Keyhole Studios captured everything perfectly, Alexander Wedding Co created the most beautiful styling, and Ozzy James Events who added great additions to our day with a selfie mirror and LED lights – we couldn’t have asked for better.

What really sets West Tower apart is the people. You can tell how much the team genuinely care about making each wedding special, and we felt so looked after throughout the entire journey. All the little touches from start to finish of the process of booking with them to your day really are amazing!

We are so grateful to have had our wedding here and truly couldn’t recommend West Tower enough. It was the best day of our lives, and that is all thanks to this incredible venue and team.

We just wish we could do it all again!

West Tower was everything we wanted and more for our wedding day. From our initial visit, through to the day itself and even beyond, we couldn’t have asked for more. Communication was clear and effective, ensuring we were happy with our choices and we hadn’t forgotten anything. All the staff were attentive, leading to the day running smoothly and I felt confident knowing they had everything in hand. The planning process was uncomplicated and left us reassured that we would have the day we wanted.
Guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, the comfort of the rooms and how good the food was. Could not have asked for more and would highly recommend.

Me and my husband got married here in December 2025 and it was the most perfect day of our lives, we booked in July 25 leaving only 6 months to plan the wedding, West Tower were amazing in telling me what I needed and helping me along the way. Sarah was so friendly and always helped with any questions I had in a timely manner. Kim was perfect on the day of the wedding nothing was too much for her. From start to end feels like a dream. Would highly recommend this venue.

If you’re thinking about getting married at West Tower, take it from us — you won’t be disappointed! We celebrated our wedding there in mid-October, and it was absolutely fantastic. The venue itself is stunning, and the entire team at West Tower are simply wonderful — friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. They made us feel relaxed and supported not only on the big day but throughout all the months of planning leading up to it.

Our coordinator, Sarah, was amazing — so patient, helpful, and understanding. On the day itself, Charlotte , James and the rest of the team were fabulous, managing everything seamlessly from start to finish. They ensured the whole day ran smoothly, that our guests knew exactly where to be and when, and that everyone was well looked after.

So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to — and we couldn’t agree more! It truly was the most special and memorable day of our lives. A huge thank you to Sarah, Charlotte, James and the entire West Tower team for making it all possible.

Yes. We most certainly got value for money. Weddings are expensive but I feel for this type of venue and service is good value.
