Hilltop Country House is a beautiful wedding venue located in the heart of the Cheshire countryside in Prestbury, England. Nothing is standard at this exclusive and elegant country estate. The house is brimming with historic charm, while the staff are experienced and helpful. Surrounded by pastoral landscapes of whispering woods and gently rolling fields, the venue offers a spectacular and secluded setting for your romantic day.
Facilities and Capacity
Hilltop Country House is a stunning 17th-century manor house that is dripping with ivy. This fresh, verdant backdrop will frame your outdoor ceremony, which can be held on the terrace (seats 130 guests) or top lawn (seats 150 guests). Here, you will be surrounded by the manicured yet subtly wild landscaping that characterises the classic English garden. If you prefer a covered location for your exchange of vows, the marquee and garden room will be at your disposal. The glass-sided marquee is the perfect blank canvas and has a maximum capacity of 180 people. If you're planning a smaller, more intimate gathering, the garden room, which can hold up to 66 people, is a great choice. The house also has a luxurious bridal suite and three en-suite bedrooms for your guests. The rooms are all immaculately appointed to ensure that your experience is flawless from beginning to end.
Services Offered
The Hilltop Country House team build a close relationship with all of their couples, allowing them to translate your ideas and dreams into reality. They offer bespoke menus and packages, last-minute deals, and late availability bookings. You don't even need to worry about decorating the venue yourself. All you have to do is drop off the table decorations, name cards, and favours, and the events staff will take care of the rest. They invite you to contact them to discuss your wedding plans and arrange a visit.
Food and Drink
Hilltop cater for all your food and drink needs in-house with their excellent kitchen and bar team, just to make the planning process that little bit easier. Head chef Iain and his kitchen team work closely aloingside Paul Merrett, a two-time winner of a Michelin star. Paul is an accomplished author, has been on TV many times and now runs two award-winning gastro pubs in London. Their dedicated bar manager Cameron and his team of mixologists will serve up your favourite drinks. From signature cocktail menus to perfectly paired wines. Together, Hilltop's catering team will ensure to deliver a dining experience you'll never forget.

From the moment we arrived on the day of our first viewing, we were enchanted by the beautiful surroundings.
The setting is truly picturesque, with stunning gardens and serene countryside views that provided a breathtaking backdrop for our special day. The attention to detail in both the indoor and outdoor spaces is impeccable, making every corner of the venue a potential spot for memorable photos.
The staff at Hilltop Country House were phenomenal. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and that our needs were met. Upon my arrival the morning of the wedding, I was surprised at how instantly relaxed I felt and knew that everything would come together. Their dedication and professionalism were evident from the planning stages right through to the end of our wedding day. No request was too big or small; they were always there with a smile, ready to assist.
The food was a massive highlight with many of our guests commenting on the quality of the Michelin star food and how delicious and beautifully presented the dishes were. Even having our very own his and her cocktails created especially for our day was a truly special touch. The catering team did an outstanding job, ensuring everyone was well-fed and happy.
Overall, Hilltop Country House provided an unforgettable experience, combining elegance, charm, and exceptional service. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a magical place to celebrate their wedding. Thank you, Hilltop Country House, for making our day so special!
