Unique and Unusual Wedding Venues in North West - England

We had a few days away at Hause Hall with our friends and family to celebrate our wedding at our local registry office. We had our wedding portraits done in and around Hause Hall. The property was equipped with everything we needed to make 2 amazing dinners for our family. We had the most stunning view over Martindale and up towards the Nab. Christine and her team were super helpful and responsive when planning everything. They sent us helpful information about the area and additional extras for our stay. We booked a hot tub for our stay which was delivered and installed hassle free. Would highly recommend the property and the rowley estates for a wedding venue!

We had the most fabulous day at Stockport Golf Club celebrating our wedding day. The office staff and Catherine, front of house could not do enough for us to make the day run smoothly. Blest with beautiful weather and overlooking one of Cheshires leading golf courses we had a wonderful time. The catering was first class and all in all great value for money. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue!

Gemma and the team at the brewery were absolutely fantastic. Gemma was on hand to help us plan our whole day, She was able to recommend vendors and really helped us to make our day personal to us. We were able to change and add things as we wished and Gemma advised us on what would work best. She was fab helping us plan the seating plan when our numbers were rising and rising!! On the day the venue looked absolutely amazing and the bar staff were a real credit to the team. I could not recommend the brewery enough, we had a perfect wedding here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than The Landmark. From the very beginning, the whole team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and they absolutely delivered. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible. A special mention has to go to Lauren, who was incredible throughout the entire process. She was always so helpful, organised, and reassuring, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. She played such a big part in making our wedding day run so smoothly, and we’re so grateful for everything she did. The venue itself was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and every detail was taken care of. We genuinely can’t think of a single thing that could have been done better. We would 100% recommend The Landmark to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. Thank you to Lauren and the entire team for giving us the most amazing day—we’ll cherish the memories forever! We got married at Leighton Hall, what a great experience! The organisation was excellent, the food wonderful, the location is unsurpassed. I thoroughly recommend Leighton Hall as a venue.

After getting engaged on Crosby beach, the Lake House was the perfect fit for our wedding and after visiting for a Wedding Fayre we knew it was the one. We are so happy we chose this venue, we had our initial meeting with Ty and then Natalie, both were amazing throughout. We had our twilight wedding on 02.10.26 and it was absolutely perfect. The whole team made sure we had the best day and everything was seamless. You can tell they’re a team that take a lot of pride in their work and do the absolute best they can, considering how busy they are we always got a prompt response to any questions prior to the wedding. We’ve had nothing but compliments from family and friends about the team, the food and the venue. A particular thank you to Natalie for all your help leading up to the wedding. Ty and Leonie for their help and support on the day and Charlie and Owen on the bar for supplying the best spicy margs. We also love that it’s a wedding venue you can return to for meals and it will be a special place for us every anniversary etc.

The Reader at Calderstones gave us the perfect wedding. We chose this venue due to the stunning theatre room and the beautiful garden and it did not disappoint. From the minute we booked the wedding to the actual day itself the events staff were attentive and helped at every point. They are friendly, polite and happy to make your wedding the best day possible. Thank you ladies for helping us creating the most amazing day

Styal Lodge is the dream venue with a stunning garden. We got married here on 27.06.2026, our wedding coordinator Bethan made sure everything ran smoothly. The most fantastic day, staff, venue and vendors were all excellent.

Now we are getting back to normality and all the excitement is dying down we just wanted to say a massive thank you to both of you for helping to make our day as special as it was. Everything went smoothly at the service and everyone enjoyed it. We had many comments about how impressive the Chambers were. Despite the weather the reception went really well and we partied until the early hours. Once again thanks so much Ann and Gill
