Our elopement at Low Wood Bay was nothing short of incredible. We were lucky with the weather, but even more so with the team who looked after us. The wedding coordinators were exceptional—nothing was ever too big or too small. From our initial meetings to arranging bespoke seating for our intimate wedding breakfast, everything flowed seamlessly. The Buckley Room looked beautiful, and every detail felt thoughtfully handled. All of our vendors were welcomed warmly by the hotel, and even the other guests we encountered were lovely, which really speaks to the atmosphere Low Wood creates. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A special mention has to go to the fact that our dog received her own guest pack—it made her feel like part of the celebration, and it meant the world to us. We would highly recommend Low Wood Bay to anyone considering an elopement or intimate wedding. If we could do it all again, we absolutely would.

From beggining to end the whole team were absolutely phenomenal! Nothing was too much effort and everything planned (including things we hadn't even considered!) to the smallest of detail. The ceremony room was set up with ease of access for less mobile guests and the compass room looked absolutely spectacular. We had so many comments on the wedding breakfast room. The menu options were delicious and they also catered for those fussy eaters (including one of the grooms) amongst our wedding party. The coordination of other suppliers also meant we did not need to work out the logistics of deliveries or set up. For two grooms to be treated with such respect and consideration, really meant a lot to us. Would highly recommend.

The most amazing venue, staff were all unbelievable and nothing was ever too much of an ask. We also stayed in the Reserve the night of the wedding, and again the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Although we chose to get married in the zoo, we weren’t animal mad, and so many guests were surprised how nice the venue was and didn’t feel like you were in the middle of the zoo!

From the very beginning, Victoria was our main point of contact, and words almost don't do her justice. She was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process so engaging, kind, supportive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. She even went above and beyond with things that weren't technically part of her role, from helping us sort out registrar paperwork to hiding my comfy post-ceremony shoes ready for later! The list of little things she did is endless, and every one of them helped make the experience stress-free and enjoyable. On the wedding day itself, Victoria was simply amazing. If she hadn't been there, I genuinely think we would have been completely lost and a bundle of nerves. My husband isn't usually much of a "people person", but he couldn't stop praising Victoria afterwards. She was fantastic at keeping him calm, directing him when needed, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Of course, the building itself is stunning. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is unique, and our photographs are absolutely incredible. Everything from start to finish was perfect. I would recommend Manchester Art Gallery a million times over. The venue is breathtaking, but Victoria is what truly made our day so special. We will always be grateful for everything she did for us.

Me and my husband got married here on the 20th June 2026 & when I say we couldn’t have asked for better wow do I mean it. We dealt with Kate from there Monastery and for 18 months she listened to my every phone call, guided me through every single tiny little detail and helped me when I was ranting and raving on the build up towards the wedding! The Monastery was just perfect on the day, everything was done with such care and quality. Easily the best value for money we spent on the wedding & we cannot thank Kate & the team more!

We got married at Victoria Baths and it was utterly gorgeous from beginning to end. No other wedding venue would compare! If you want something really unusual that people will talk about for years to come this is for you. Am considering booking our anniversary party here! It's really special and our guests loved the history, the interesting places to take selfies, the laid back vibe of the place and how much it suited our personalities. It really was a magical, cool, wonderfully relaxed and perfect day.

We recently got married at the beautiful Ashton Memorial in Lancaster, and it truly was the most magical setting we could have imagined. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the perfect place for us, the stunning architecture, marble floors, and panoramic views made it feel timeless and elegant. We’ve both loved Ashton Memorial for years especially the inside, so the venue felt like a natural fit for our wedding. On the day, the temperature reached 30 degrees, but the marble floors and spacious interior kept everything cool and comfortable, a small detail that made a big difference! Our ceremony felt so special and personal. We had a string quartet playing throughout, performing songs we had hand-picked together, and the acoustics inside the building were absolutely incredible. Every note carried beautifully, adding to the atmosphere and making the whole moment unforgettable. The team at Ashton Memorial were also fantastic, friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. After planning our wedding for three years, it was such a joy to see everything come together so perfectly.

Wow this place is amazing so big an spacious and immaculately clean! From the beginning to end. The planning was amazing, the help we got for not overdoing with the numbers off imogen the wedding co-ordinator! The bar staff were wonderful an couldn’t do more as were the floor staff went so well we’re having wedding tjere this year thanks so much to all the team at the venue was amazing can’t wait for my big day which wil be obviously bigger an better !

Honestly this venue went above and beyond. We wanted to just have a party with all our friends and run off to a registry office a couple days before the party, we’d told Eve (part of the special events team) that we would like to do some sort of ceremony to surprise our guests so they were no longer attending an engagement party, but a wedding, and instantly she started planning how we could do it and was so accommodating. All the staff got on board and did everything in their power to help us pull this off and it was the best night of our lives. Food was unreal - we just did canopies and late night snacks and all my guests have been raving about them. Thank you for making our day so special, everyone in the special events team on the day were unbelievable 🩷

The day was amazing, the venue looked incredible and the team which helped us plan it and those who worked on the actual day were all wonderful. Couldn’t recommend it enough, it was the best day of our lives and made such a fantastic backdrop to all our pictures! Thank you to Andrew and the rest of the team!
