I can absolutely recommend The Priests House for your wedding. The venue is clearly beautiful, I’d been looking for 8 years for the perfect wedding venue and this just blew me away. But what also makes it are Conor and his team. We only had 5 weeks to organise our day, nothing was too much, from increasing the no of guests, decor, accomodating dietary requirements….the team absolutely took the stress out of organising our wedding, and on the day the whole team were incredible. I just wish I could go back and do it again! 💍

The Faversham was absolutely amazing from start to finish throughout the planning of our wedding. All the staff were so friendly and so helpful on the day, we honestly couldn't fault the service in any way. They were so catering towards us and our guests - so much that our guests couldn't stop talking about how incredible the day was. A special thanks to Teo, as she went above and beyond to help us have the most wonderful day. We bombarded her with so many questions, but she was always so quick to respond and reassure us. She was brilliant on the day and ensured our wedding ran as smoothly as possible while liaising with all our suppliers. She kept us updated throughout the whole day, making sure not to bother us with questions or problems so we could just enjoy ourselves. Our day couldn't have been possible without Teo. We highly recommend The Faversham to anyone looking for wedding venues. It is such a beautiful venue and gave us the most unforgettable experience. Thank you! - Jess and Ka Wai

We got married at NCEM on the 11th Oct 2025. It was such an easy and stress free process, and the recommended caterers we chose, Pastelle, were so amazing too (lots of comments from guests that it was the best wedding food they had ever had!) NCEM and India worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed and made adjustments to make our vision come to life - real candles? No problem. Corkage for table wine? No issue. Sourced apple sourz for shots for the bar? Absolutely. It was honestly such a dream booking them. The venue itself is a piece of York history, and is hidden away. It's stunning, large enough for crowds with beautiful outdoor space and functional and accessible for different areas. They also directly spoke to our other suppliers once booked, making it even easier to manage the day. We went for a 3 day hire, and they let us drop off lanterns early that morning so they could be strung up by the venue with the fairy lights. On the Sunday, they had cleared the whole venue and left our belongings in corners to collect, making it super easy and efficient. NCEM in few words: friendly, beautiful and flexible.

We fell in love with the venue at first sight but it was Liam's knowledge, professionalism and positive attitude that sealed the deal for us. Liam and his crew were the most supportive, organised, and professional team to work with. The whole day ran smoothly and seamlessly and they ensured we and our guests were comfortable and happy all day. The team was especially supportive of the bride's particular dietary requirements, and made sure she was able to enjoy the food just as much as everyone else, which was very important to us. Many of our guests have approached us to tell us that the day was perfect, the food fantastic, and the staff wonderfully accommodating. The grounds are beautiful, and the building is immaculate. The photos we got to take are stunning. Highly recommend The Mansion for any event, but you will have a perfect wedding here. Thank you so much Liam and team, you're the best!
