What an insane wedding venue!!! No notes, for ease of reading for anyone interested I'll put my top 10 fave things that make Thief Hall unlike any other venue... So in no particular order....

1) Views of the Yorkshire Three Peaks as you get married. If you are a walker or Yorkshireman/woman/person it's a lush touch. 👌We got married outside with a "groundarch" so you could see them in the distance, the views were delicious.

2) The dedicated getting ready space is INSANE. We had 14 of us in there and there was still space for dancing. 💃 More space = less stress and I was able to set up a little space for each of my Bridesmaids with gifts etc.

3) Personal touches. We came back to the room after a late night to find TH had decorated our room, prezzies, cards, a sign, and a digital photo frame with some of our photos from the day. So classy. 🫶

4) The courtyard. Friday get together with all the family and bridal party on the Friday and for hungover sausage butties on the Sunday morning made it a WEEKEND not just a day🤙

5) Nothing was too much. We had ALOT of "extras", merch wall, interactive seating chart, cocktail bits, beer pong set ups, flower take downs, changing the chairs and the answer was always, yep, we can do that, no Rach it's not a problem. 🤣

6) Onsite camping/camper vans... weddings are expensive to attend so having some free accomodation for guests was great. 💛

7) Accommodation right next to the wedding space, but also, some separate.... Perfect for much older or much younger guests that need their sleep away from loud noises. 😴

8) NO CLOSING TIME. We were there at 3am still Silent Discoing..... Not many venues are open that late. So if you want an all night party.... TH is the one 🎆

9) Dogs are welcome, and boy did ours have a great time. The team were brilliant with her and couldn't have been more welcoming. Arriving to a personalised bag with, ball and treats was a super cute touch. She was EXHAUSTED from all the fun 🐕‍🦺

10) 4 night stay for Bride and Groom. Hot tub with the sunset the day after getting married, full of the warm fuzzies.

We had the most wonderful time, I would recommend Thief Hall to anyone. Even our other suppliers said how brilliant TH were and how good their communication was which offloaded a whole heap of stress from us.

It’s very hard to put into words how perfect our wedding day and weekend was at Thief Hall.

From our arrival in the stunning Bateman Byre Bridal Suite on Thursday we were just wowed by every little thing. The place is stunningly beautiful, they have thought of everything and there was so many personal little details that made my husband and I feel at home right from the start.

The accommodation onsite, stunning cottages and glamping pods are immaculate they have everything and more your guests need, the beds are sublimely comfortable and having all of your friends, family and bridal party onsite the night before is just an added bonus.

The team, now I have never experienced customer service like it! You basically get a team of extra friends who are in your corner from day one. Jessica and Philip the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet and Katy Lewis our coordinator is absolutely amazing, ever little detail, keeping us calm, organised and always with a smile on her face I don’t know what we would have done without her!

The team are so knowledgeable, they know whats best from suppliers, to seating plans, to decor they will tell you what you need and what you don’t and the value for money is absolutely unbelievable. You don’t just get a venue you get so much more!! The quality of the finishes in the cottages, the stunning views, the hot tubs, the friendship everything amazing.


Above everything else they just really got me and Chris from the moment we met, our humour, our likes and dislikes even our favourite drinks and that really showed during the day.

I could talk all day about how phenomenal this place is but I recommend you go and have a look for your self!! The moment you arrive the greeting you get and the views will have you sold.

Advice - go and get married at Thief Hall! 10/10!!

Stunning venue that we were fortunate enough to spend 4 days there! The staff are amazing and go above and beyond from the day we booked to the day we left after our wedding was all over. They took the stress out of the planning, dealing with our suppliers, kept us in the loop every step of the way, listened to our crazy ideas and let us do things how we wanted. All of our wedding guests have said Thief hall is so beautiful and the staff were amazing. If we could go back in time we would choose thief hall over and over again.

If you’re reading this, look no further. Thief hall is a beautiful venue in a beautiful location and the staff are second to none! They put on the most perfect wedding day for my wife and I. I seriously can’t explain enough how amazing they all are I have serious wedding blues after leaving there. They think of absolutely everything including and are so attentive to suppliers as well! To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. Everybody who attended wax lyrical about how good and how impressed they were with thief hall and the staff.

The communication throughout the planning process was seamless. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was exactly what we envisioned, allowing us to actually relax and feel like guests at our own wedding.

One of the absolute highlights was the accommodation. We booked out the entire site, and our guests haven't stopped talking about it! The variety—from the charming themed pods to the stunning cottages—created such a "buzz" among our friends and family. Having everyone stay on-site made the celebrations feel extended and even more intimate.

Our experience with Thief Hall has been the absolute best. It is such a beautiful venue, in an idyllic location no matter the time of year. We got married on New Year's Eve, 2025.
Everything about the process was fantastic. Communication with the team was great throughout the planning process, the team of wedding co-ordinators are experienced, warm and friendly and work so hard to ensure everything in the run up and on the day goes smoothly. The team were fantastic at listening to what we wanted for the day and supporting us to bring that vision to life.
The attention to detail was absolutely amazing, every single scenario had been thought of and planned for and the extra little touches in the bridal suite and in the accommodation were incredibly thoughtful and so appreciated by us and also by all of our guests. We were so grateful to have on-site accommodation especially as we had guests travelling from all over the country. Also - to the brides - the glam room is incredible and such a beautiful way to start the day getting ready in such a gorgeous, well-set up hair & make up room, it makes such a difference. They literally have thought of everything! It was the perfect venue from start to finish and if we could do our wedding all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

Thief Hall was the most amazing wedding venue and I feel so lucky that we found the venue and the team that make it so special. Our wedding was absolutely magical and the Thief Hall team supported us so much in co-ordinating the day, confirming all the details in the weeks/days before the wedding and we couldn't have done it without them and can't recommend this venue and the wedding co-ordinators highly enough!

From the moment we arrived at Thief Hall, we knew it was the place for us. The venue itself is surrounded by rolling hills which are absolutely stunning all year round. We got married in November, and even on the early dark nights the shining stars made for a beautiful setting. The team are 10/10 in every way you can imagine. They genuinely care about your wedding, they are not a business looking to make profit, they want what is best for you. They helped us with every decision we made and were not afraid to tell us cheaper ways of doing things. We went with every supplier they recommended as they really have a great list of people to recommend! Our highlight was the fact we were able to arrive on Thursday and didn't have to leave until Monday - there was absolutely no rushing! Everything was organised and relaxed and we had the best weekend.

It’s hard to put into words how good this venue is and the people that run it. They made it the best day of our lives. Perfect location but the people make it.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for more and the staff were so organised, everything ran smoothly and we did not need to think of anything on the day or the days leading up to the wedding as the team had everything covered.
