Hazlewood Castle is a stunning location, and we are delighted to have had our wedding there this November. The grounds and building are elegant and regal, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious, decorated to keep that regal elegance going throughout the castle. For a mid-week winter wedding, we felt we had excellent value in our package, and couldn't recommend HazlewOod more for such an event. The Castle is very old and well used, but also clearly well loved, clean and taken care of. We found our stay very peaceful and the setting is well away from the noise of any towns. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, especially our wedding coordinator Melissa (and our on-the-day event managers). If you are considering a wedding at any of time of year, Hazlewood has the right setting for you but we are of course particularly fond of the grand yet cosy feel of our winter wedding in the main castle.

Egton were fantastic from start to finish. They were very relaxed about the entire process - which is what myself and my husband wanted. They also coordinated the entire day as well which they did a fabulous job. Venue is in a beautiful location in North Yorkshire and has the added benefit of additional accommodation which is handy for guests. We are so grateful for all their hard work in making our day!

Crab Manor Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding, providing everything one could need. Luxurious accommodation on site for the guests, a quirky sense of style, scenic grounds and unbeatable food, all headed up by our conscientious wedding planner Abigail. Abigail ensured that all of the minutiae of our day was considered and that everything ran smoothly. She ensured that me and my new wife weren't overwhelmed, that we had time to soak the day and that we never had to worry about anything. She worked tirelessly on the day and was so helpful in helping us consider elements we may have forgotten. The venue was perfect for us - the staff attentive, responsive and friendly. Able to accommodate 40+ guests with personalized rooms, hot tubs and comfy beds, it made the day before and after the wedding perfect. The food served was of exceptional quality and commented on by almost everyone we invited. I think it's rare to find a venue that can do it all, but I really can't recommend this one enough. Full of quirky character and able to both accommodate traditional or relaxed weddings, it really can do it all. Thank you to the team and I cannot recommend the venue enough, a special place.

We recently held our evening wedding celebration at The Castle Inn, Spofforth, following an intimate ceremony at Harrogate Registry Office. As it's local to us and such a beautiful venue, it was the perfect place to celebrate with our family and friends. As a couple, we don't really like a lot of fuss, so our brief to Georgia, who planned the event, was fairly simple – we wanted something relaxed, low-key and without many of the traditional elements you'd normally associate with a wedding reception. She completely understood our vision and created exactly the day we had hoped for. From the moment we booked until the day itself, communication was excellent. Georgia made the planning process feel effortless, and on the day herself, the bar team and chefs ensured everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. Our guests were able to enjoy welcome drinks in the garden while listening to live acoustic music, which created a wonderful atmosphere. The food was fantastic. We chose the BBQ buffet, and it received so many compliments from our guests. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Before the evening celebrations began, we also had a post-ceremony lunch at the pub. Although we hadn't requested anything special, our table had been beautifully decorated, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our waiter, Duncan, was incredibly attentive —nothing was too much trouble, and the service and food throughout was fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Malvern Events and The Castle Inn to anyone looking for a venue to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so memorable.

Our experience with Hollins Hall was fantastic. We booked our wedding 2 years in advance but we kept in touch with Tanya as we were making key decisions and she got back to us in a timely manner. We loved doing our wedding tasting and they went above and beyond in offering us options to match the bride's dietary requirements (Lactose intolerant). A lot of our guests had dietary requirements, and the team dealt with these with professionalism and gave us the confidence they would all be catered for effectively. On the day, the team set everything up beautifully, working so smoothly with our suppliers that we barely needed to check in. They made sure we were well taken care of throughout the day and made sure we were aware of key contacts throughout the day for any questions. The venue itself was beautiful and due to many of our guests staying over on the Friday and Saturday evenings, it really felt like a full 'wedding weekend' rather than just one day of celebrations. Hollins really is fantastic value for money. We would highly recommend this venue. Thank you Tanya and the team for making our day so spectacular.

Where do we even begin?! We booked our wedding at Dunedin House in January 2025 and finally got married in October 2026, and I genuinely couldn't imagine having our special day anywhere else! Throughout the whole process, from booking to the big day itself, the team were absolutely incredible. We visited multiple times in the lead-up to our wedding, and every single time the staff couldn't do enough for us. I also sent Beth and the team more emails than I care to admit, and they were always so quick to reply, helpful and reassuring. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We stayed on site the night before our wedding, and from the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming and lovely. On the wedding day itself, Beth checked in with me multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly. I'd given my husband a rather long list of jobs to sort that morning, and very early on I received a text from him simply saying, "Beth has sorted it all." I think that sums up just how incredible she is! Throughout the entire day, every member of staff was so friendly, attentive and helpful. Everything felt effortless, and we were able to just enjoy our wedding without worrying about a thing. I genuinely cannot recommend Dunedin House enough. The venue itself is beautiful, but it's the people who make it so special. To Beth and the entire team, a million thank yous wouldn't be enough for everything you did to make our wedding day so perfect. We will be forever grateful! ❤️

We honestly don’t even know where to start with how amazing our experience was at The Venue. From the very beginning of our wedding planning right through to the big day itself, everyone was absolutely incredible. The wedding meetings at 6 months and then 1 month to go were so helpful and made us feel completely at ease. Any time I emailed with a question during the planning process, I always got such a quick response, which made such a difference when there are a million things going through your head while planning a wedding! We also loved our food tasting, especially being able to bring our mums along with us, and the food on the actual day was honestly DELICIOUS (and the portions were huge!). Lucy, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely brilliant with us from start to finish and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better. But I have to say, ALL of the staff are an absolute credit to The Venue. From the room turnarounds, the amount of bar staff serving on the night, serving the wedding breakfast, cutting and serving our cake, bringing out the evening food and everything in between, everything was just done so seamlessly. We also loved that everything was all in one place. The venue is so spacious, beautifully clean and there was plenty of room for everyone without it ever feeling cramped. Our wedding day was genuinely so perfect and everything went exactly how we hoped it would. We cannot thank Lucy and the whole team enough for everything they did for us and for making our day so special. If we could do it all over again, we would choose this venue twice over! It’s hard to put into words just how much we loved getting married at Thicket Priory. Looking back, we honestly couldn’t imagine having celebrated our wedding anywhere else. From the very beginning, what stood out to us was how welcoming and relaxed the whole experience felt. Even during the planning, we were encouraged to visit as often as we wanted, wander around and explore the venue for ourselves. No visit ever felt like too much trouble, and there were no unnecessary restrictions or rules about how things had to be done. The team were always focused on helping us bring our ideas to life, which meant we had the freedom to create a wedding that felt completely personal to us. We also loved that nothing felt off limits; Thicket Priory is a place you can truly explore and fall in love with for yourself. We wanted our wedding to be more than just one day, and having our family and friends together at Thicket Priory for the whole weekend made it everything we had hoped for. It felt like having everyone together in our own home, with so much time to enjoy the people we love without rushing from one moment to the next. From the celebrations beginning on Friday to our final breakfast on Sunday, we made memories we’ll treasure forever. The only downside was that we didn’t want it to end. Becca, our coordinator, and Liv, who was there on the wedding day, deserve a special mention. They were genuinely wonderful and, by the time the wedding arrived, they felt like part of our family and our celebrations. The same goes for the rest of the team working throughout the weekend, particularly the staff looking after us during the evenings. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and attentive, and they all played a part in making the weekend feel so special. We felt completely looked after from beginning to end, and we’ll always be grateful to every single person who helped make it what it was. Thicket Priory is obviously a beautiful place, but what makes it truly special is the feeling it gives you and the people who bring it to life. We left as husband and wife with the happiest memories and a real emotional attachment to somewhere that will always be part of our story. Thank you to everyone at Thicket Priory for giving us the most wonderful weekend. We feel so lucky to have got married there, and although we were so sad for our weekend to come to an end, we’re already thinking about what anniversary celebration we could hold there as an excuse to come back! We would return in a heartbeat, and that probably says more than anything about how special Thicket Priory will always be to us

We recently had our wedding reception at The Fleece Countryside Inn and it was honestly incredible from start to finish. The venue itself is gorgeous and the views over the countryside are just amazing. Having the private terrace was such a bonus too—our guests spent hours out there enjoying drinks in the sunshine. I was a bit nervous about how the styling would turn out, but the team decorated everything exactly how I wanted. It looked so classic and chic. What really saved my sanity during the planning process was their online portal. Being able to log in and put everything in one place—food options, decor, timelines, vendor info, and guest list details—made planning the reception completely stress-free. Communication with Carrie-Anne was spot on. She went above and beyond for us, and all the staff on the day were so welcoming and friendly. I really can't thank them enough for making our wedding the best day I could have ever imagined!

We had our wedding day at Oulton Hall on Friday 2nd October 2026 and it was everything we wanted and more. Throughout the planning, Bryony was amazing, no question was too small or silly and we were made to feel special throughout the planning process, with regular check ins. On the day Bryony, Kerry & Antonia were all fabulous. All our decor was set up perfectly and nothing was too much to ask. Even the little touches such as my husband doesnt drink beer or wine, so he had an ice bucket of Koppaberg ciders set up next to him in the wedding breakfast, and a portion of the canapes set aside for us in the drinks reception, to ensure we got some. Little touches like that are what really made the day extra special. All our guests have commented on how beautiful the day was and we've been told that the food was the best wedding food they'd ever had! Overall, I cannot thank all the staff enough for making our day everything and more. I highly recommend Oulton Hall for anyones Wedding Day, a beautiful venue with lovely staff who can't do enough for you!
