Hazlewood Castle is a stunning location, and we are delighted to have had our wedding there this November. The grounds and building are elegant and regal, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious, decorated to keep that regal elegance going throughout the castle. For a mid-week winter wedding, we felt we had excellent value in our package, and couldn't recommend HazlewOod more for such an event. The Castle is very old and well used, but also clearly well loved, clean and taken care of. We found our stay very peaceful and the setting is well away from the noise of any towns. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, especially our wedding coordinator Melissa (and our on-the-day event managers). If you are considering a wedding at any of time of year, Hazlewood has the right setting for you but we are of course particularly fond of the grand yet cosy feel of our winter wedding in the main castle.

Me and my husband are so glad we chose Westfield as our wedding venue , cannot thank molly Joan and Roz enough for all the help , they made it so easy from start to finish and it was so lovely having the accommodations so close it made it a lovely family weekend and all the family are so greatful that we all could come together for this special time ♥️ was lovely to be able to design our very own wedding and it was exactly how we wanted it , we didn’t want it to end and can’t wait to come back in the future

Crab Manor Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding, providing everything one could need. Luxurious accommodation on site for the guests, a quirky sense of style, scenic grounds and unbeatable food, all headed up by our conscientious wedding planner Abigail. Abigail ensured that all of the minutiae of our day was considered and that everything ran smoothly. She ensured that me and my new wife weren't overwhelmed, that we had time to soak the day and that we never had to worry about anything. She worked tirelessly on the day and was so helpful in helping us consider elements we may have forgotten. The venue was perfect for us - the staff attentive, responsive and friendly. Able to accommodate 40+ guests with personalized rooms, hot tubs and comfy beds, it made the day before and after the wedding perfect. The food served was of exceptional quality and commented on by almost everyone we invited. I think it's rare to find a venue that can do it all, but I really can't recommend this one enough. Full of quirky character and able to both accommodate traditional or relaxed weddings, it really can do it all. Thank you to the team and I cannot recommend the venue enough, a special place.

Thicket Priory was the most incredible venue for our wedding in December 2025. From start to finish, everything was seamless and genuinely exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is stunning, and the whole day ran so smoothly that we were able to relax and fully enjoy it. The suppliers Thicket Priory recommended were all fabulous — professional, talented, and a perfect fit for what we wanted — which made planning so much easier and far less stressful. A special mention has to go to Lil, the wedding coordinator, who was honestly more than we could ever have asked for. She had brilliant ideas to guide us without ever being pushy, she really listened and understood our vision, and she brought such empathy and reassurance throughout the process. On the day she was calm, in control, and a total miracle worker — making sure everything happened exactly as it should, without us having to worry about a thing. We would absolutely recommend Thicket Priory to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It was amazing from start to finish.

The entire team were incredible and mad your day run seamlessly. They could not have been more professional or well versed in exactly what we envisioned and made it come to reality. Every detail was as we asked. Tanya was our wedding coordinator but the whole team, from events, to hotel, to catering were all absoloutley lovely and so professional. They had 3 weddings that weekend and you would not have even known; the set up between each one - including our own - was unbelievably efficient. Hollins Hall as a venue is EXTREMELY good value for money and fitted our needs for a large wedding fully. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Where do we start? We booked our wedding day over two years in advance but boy did those years fly by! I found the fleece here on hitched scouting out venues. We love a rural vibe so we decided we would make a day of it, we contacted Carrie and team to book a viewing. After she gave us a tour, talked us through what our day could look like, the package types - we slept on it for one night and booked it the day after. You need to see the fleece to fall in love with it! The views, the cosy vibes, gorgeous food and lovely staff make it. From initial booking, Carrie and the wonderful coordination team made the plans running up to our day a breeze. We were simply told what was needed, everything was so well thought out. The food was incredible and everyone looooved the food! There are so many great things about this venue, I wish I could list them all. If you’re thinking about going to a fleece open day or to go view it with your fiance, definitely do. The package costs vary, however you won’t regret a penny spent - we don’t! It was so worth it to have everyone we love in one room, well fed and watered - with plenty of seating areas and space for dancing! Lastly - the staff are so wonderful. The lovely coordinator who moved the screen to help me get my aisle timing right, Carrie and the coordination team - a million thank you’s. The lovely card from you all was so kind. From the moment we visited the Parkmore for one of their showcases we knew this was the venue for our big day, the team were all warm and made us feel special. James who looked after us took all of our requirements and gave us the day we wanted. Marilyn from special events was great. We got everything sorted within a few meetings. The stress was taken away. The day ran smoothly with every detail being taken care of. We were allowed to enjoy it with our guests. We will definitely become regulars at the hotel. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We couldn't have made a better choice for our wedding than to have it at Standedge. From the start our designated contact Sam was helpful, flexible to everything we wanted, and the price was so reasonable for everything that was included. Nothing was too much trouble, and Sam and the team really know what they are doing. Our day ran seamlessly which, bearing in mind we had a petting zoo, open mic and takeaway curry for 170 people including 48 children, was no mean feat! The room was decorated beautifully and with our own added touches it really was magical. I cannot thank Sam and the team enough, and Standedge will always be a special place for us to visit.

My husband and I got married at The Normans in December 2025 and we cannot recommend it enough as a venue. We actually booked The Normans based on just my husband's viewing (I didn't see it until months later as we were living abroad), because he was so certain it was the perfect place. And he was right! Oliver, Sharon and the whole Normans team are absolute pros at making sure everything runs smoothly (both in the run up and on the Big Day), and it was clear they really cared about each detail to make our wedding (and I suspect every single wedding they do) special. We didn't worry about a thing on the day because Sharon was masterfully managing everything for us. The venue itself was beautiful - especially in the winter as the Christmas trees and lights everywhere made it utterly magical. But beyond that, one of the things we loved most about The Normans is that, because it is specifically a wedding venue, every single detail is considered for that purpose - from the wall of fairy lights in the Ceremony Barn, to the cottages on site (one with a getting ready room, as well as fancy hooks to hang your dress!), to how Oliver and Sharon manage the "flow" of the day with guests moving from space to space. The whole experience is incredibly intentional and well thought out. Hog and Apple (the designated caterer) are also incredible and multiple guests said it was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. Thank you to the whole Normans + H&A team for the most incredible day!

Oulton Hall was the ideal venue for our wedding day. The whole team did everything they could to ensure our day was perfect and we can’t thank them enough!!!
