My husband and I got married at Tapton Hall and it was perfect! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for such a beautiful venue for their wedding! The architecture of the building is breathtaking, not to mention that the scenery and foliage surrounding it provides excellent areas for photographs and videos! The staff at Tapton Hall are exceptional! They are super friendly and they catered for all our wants and needs. We can't thank them enough for the jobs they did on our big day - a special mention to Becki who worked tirelessly to help make our day absolutely perfect! From the planning and prep straight up to our wedding day - She answered all questions we had, advised us and helped to calm all the nerves I felt on the day! Would definitely recommend!

Myself and my now husband are massive Wednesday fans, this is the place we met and thought there would be no where else we’d want to get married, from the moment we viewed the venue we knew it was the one, they made our dreams come a reality, all the hard work & communication throughout was outstanding, Paige, Mel & the events team was nothing short than phenomenal from the moment we had our first meeting to the day we got married, made you feel welcome and ourselves and our guests had nothing more than nice words to say about them. We can’t thank Hillsborough & the team for making our day so magical, thank you for allowing us to create the best memories, see you in the new season🤍

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than Walton Park Hotel. From our very first visit, we knew it was somewhere special, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to Olivia, who looked after us throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. She was incredibly organised, friendly and approachable, making the whole process feel effortless. In the run up to the wedding, we always knew what was needed and when, and nothing ever felt rushed or overwhelming. No question was too much trouble, and it genuinely felt like having our own wedding planner. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and everything on the day ran seamlessly. Olivia and, later in the evening, Emily were always checking that we were happy, making sure we had food and drinks after the ceremony, and even giving us a few quiet moments together as newlyweds. Those little touches made such a difference and made us feel so well looked after. Me and my bridesmaids also stayed at the hotel the night before and really enjoyed the spa facilities, and having breakfast delivered to our room on the wedding morning was such a thoughtful touch. We had a twilight wedding so opted for the barbecue buffet which was fantastic, the evening entertainment ran perfectly, and the whole day was even better than we could have imagined. The staff at Walton Park Hotel played a huge part in making it such a special day. Thank you to everyone involved, especially Olivia and Emily, for making our wedding so memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Walton Park Hotel to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service.

We had our wedding with Sun Pavilion booked for 18 months. The attentiveness of the staff on the day, was second to none. A HUGE shout out to Safina and Nigel, who took such good care of myself, my husband and our guests on our wedding day. The food provided by CGC was exceptional, and the organisation of the staff helped the whole day run smoothly. The only downside for me, was during the planning process. With emails sometimes feeling forgotten about, and a bit of staff turnover, which caused a lack of continuity in planning. However, in the months leading up to the wedding, Victoria was incredibly responsive and no question was too big or too small. I want to do our wedding day all over again! It was honestly the best day of my life, made even better by the Sun Pavilion!

We were married in The Orangery on 14 June 2008. The whole experience from booking the date in Nov'06 to the Day was so well managed by Graham and Margaret and the team. Nothing was too much trouble and every request was catered for. The venue is stunning, the grounds are amazing and have produced some fabulous photos. The Orangery creates such a romantic atmosphere and all of our guests were delighted with everything. We booked the land train to get all of our guests to the venue on time and back again - they all loved it. We had the most perfect day thanks to all at Sewerby Hall. Five star service - thank you

My husband & I recently got married at The Engine Shed. It was nothing but exceptional from the first viewing till the wedding. We had the pleasure of dealing with both Jen & Lee, they were both amazing and very professional, there to help with any questions we had & the many visits to prepare for the big day. We will be highly recommending The Engine Shed to all of our family & friends. Every single person that was at the wedding has said how it was a day to remember and we know it will be talked about for a very long time. Thank you again Jen, Lee & The Engine Shed. You really made it the best day possible!!☺️

We could not recommend Kelham Island Museum enough as a wedding venue. Having been together for 10 years before we even thought about getting married, we wanted to mark the occasion somewhere we loved spending time in our day-to-day life without the pressure of a frills and formal occasion. It was perfect. We loved the option of ceremony rooms depending on guest numbers, and I cannot speak highly enough of our coordinator, Andy, who took away any responsibility of liaising between suppliers and performers and took it on as his own. People had told me the days leading up to a wedding were really stressful; that was not our experience at all! The fact we can go back and visit and relive the joy is such a privilege, and I would urge anybody who is looking for a quirky venue with capacity to make it entirely your own to go for it!

From start to finish, our experience with The Arches was amazing. We worked with Kat and Sam and there wasn’t a question they couldn’t help us with or a request they couldn’t fulfill. Sam especially went to extra lengths to ensure the wedding was our own and all our guests were extremely happy. We had the most incredible day and it was all thanks to them!

Where do I start with this venue? The food was exquisite (thank you Will for being so accommodating, particularly with multiple allergies, our guest was super impressed and grateful), Josh was super helpful from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, especially when we had last minute drop outs, the waiting staff were friendly and professional. Despite the rain throughout the whole day…it was perfect, I can’t fault anything. The venue gave a very cosy and calming feel, with how beautiful the venue, you do not need many decorations in my opinion. Thank you!

We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and night at Manor House. From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible, and all of our guests fell in love with the venue just as much as we did. I genuinely don’t think the day could have gone any better, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making it so unforgettable. The staff were still nothing short of amazing with nothing been too much to ask! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Every detail is so beautiful and thoughtfully done, creating the most perfect setting for a wedding. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so special and welcomed by every single member of staff. The whole experience, from booking our special day with Jaine and receiving the most beautiful flowers as a thank you, to walking into our room on the night of the wedding to find a lovely card and an engraved bottle of champagne waiting for us, was just beyond anything we could have imagined!! It’s the little thoughtful touches and genuine care from the team that made the experience feel so magical. A huge thank you to Amy, Manuel, Ruby, Jaine, and everyone else involved — you truly couldn’t do enough for us, and your attention to detail made the whole day run so smoothly - you guys are the dream team! We cannot recommend Manor House highly enough to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue with the most incredible team behind it. Thank you all so much for making our day so special xxx
