My husband and I got married at Tapton Hall and it was perfect! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for such a beautiful venue for their wedding! The architecture of the building is breathtaking, not to mention that the scenery and foliage surrounding it provides excellent areas for photographs and videos! The staff at Tapton Hall are exceptional! They are super friendly and they catered for all our wants and needs. We can't thank them enough for the jobs they did on our big day - a special mention to Becki who worked tirelessly to help make our day absolutely perfect! From the planning and prep straight up to our wedding day - She answered all questions we had, advised us and helped to calm all the nerves I felt on the day! Would definitely recommend!

We are both in our 80s and wanted a wedding with just close family members as guests. The ceremony had to take place in one of the large funeral rooms but later we had a meal of our choice in one of the small executive boxes overlooking the pitch. In between we were allowed to go pitch side for photographs. We received excellent assistance from the Sheffield Wednesday Events Staff.

The entire team at Waterton from start to finish were incredible. Patient and understanding. I went backwards and forwards with questions, wanting measurements of rooms. Numbers, layout of the rooms and other quirks to make our day as unique as possible and they were incredibly accommodating. Olivia was our coordinator and she is an absolute gem. Every concern, thought or worry was cleared up, reassured and put to rest. The value of the venue is great, we stayed within our budget and the menu was commented on by every single guest about how gorgeous the food was!!! We were married in Walton Hall and again it was incredible. The room is stunning and the character of the building. The setting and wildlife around the venue again if this is what you are after will not disappoint. The honeymoon suite is huge and the bath!!! The bath is immense!! We were in heaven! The service was brilliant, including the breakfast. We cannot recommend Olivia and the entire team at Waterton. They have been incredible!!

We were married in The Orangery on 14 June 2008. The whole experience from booking the date in Nov'06 to the Day was so well managed by Graham and Margaret and the team. Nothing was too much trouble and every request was catered for. The venue is stunning, the grounds are amazing and have produced some fabulous photos. The Orangery creates such a romantic atmosphere and all of our guests were delighted with everything. We booked the land train to get all of our guests to the venue on time and back again - they all loved it. We had the most perfect day thanks to all at Sewerby Hall. Five star service - thank you

We got married at the engine shed in May 2025 and had the most perfect day at the perfect place. The venue is speaks for itself, it really is breathtaking, but what made us choose them was the people. Jen, lee and the team are incredible and you can really tell the passion and care they have for their work. Our wedding coordinator Jen was amazing from start to finish, she went above and beyond for us and was there for anything we needed and all our quirky requests. She also helped run our day and made sure everything ran seamlessly. We had the most perfect wedding here and our friends and family loved it too, I would really recommend the engine shed if you are looking for somewhere to have your special day!

Our wedding at Kelham Island Museum was perfect. In the run up to the wedding, our wedding coordinator Anna was brilliant. She was always in communication with us no matter what the question was, made contact with all our vendors and arranged timings with them for the day. This helped me and my wife massively, Anna eased the organising of the day massively in the build up and it made it a lot less stressful for me and my wife. On the day, the Kelham island team and in particular Anna were great, the day ran so smoothly from start to finish. They truely are experts at what they do. Not many people can say this but our day was perfect, everything just flowed from the ceremony into the reception without any issues and this was no small part thanks to Anna. We would 100% recommend this venue, not just how it turned out when it was set up, but the fact the people who organise the day for you take real pride in what they do. It was the most perfect day.

From start to finish, our experience with The Arches was amazing. We worked with Kat and Sam and there wasn’t a question they couldn’t help us with or a request they couldn’t fulfill. Sam especially went to extra lengths to ensure the wedding was our own and all our guests were extremely happy. We had the most incredible day and it was all thanks to them!

Where do I start with this venue? The food was exquisite (thank you Will for being so accommodating, particularly with multiple allergies, our guest was super impressed and grateful), Josh was super helpful from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, especially when we had last minute drop outs, the waiting staff were friendly and professional. Despite the rain throughout the whole day…it was perfect, I can’t fault anything. The venue gave a very cosy and calming feel, with how beautiful the venue, you do not need many decorations in my opinion. Thank you!

Manor House Lindley is a unique venue. The venue is beautiful, the food is fantastic, but the best part are the staff. Gemma helped us to coordinate the day, meeting with us regularly in the 6 months leading up to the big day. She helped us plan absolutely everything, often giving us great ideas of how to handle certain quirky aspects! Over the weekend, Gemma, Manuel and the rest of the staff ensured that everything ran smoothly and seamlessly and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was worth every penny and more! I cannot recommend them more highly. Book them. You will not be disappointed.

As soon as we stepped out of the car when we first visited Oaklands we felt almost giddy it was so beautiful. That feeling went right on through to even picking up our things the morning after the wedding. Not only is this place drop dead gorgeous, with absolutely anything you could want or need, the staff are also nothing short of excellent. Vicky, our on the day coordinator, especially had such a reassuring air about her for every one of our questions throughout the planning process and and on the day. I was one of those type A brides that come armed with a vision and a detailed chart - and they took it all in their stride and made sure we had the most perfect day. The day was everything we wanted and more. The private moment they make sure you have together before the wedding breakfast, and the magical outdoor first dance in the woods are particularly impressive touches. Johny was the most kind and attentive emcee and DJ. Absolutely made our night - including a special midnight countdown moment. It was perfect. If you are even thinking about booking this venue - DO IT!!!
